If you've heard of "Punta Cana," what you've actually heard of is BAVARO — the beach town home to Secrets, Now Larimar, Paradisus, Barceló, and Melia, and to a beach TripAdvisor ranks #7 in the world.

Punta Cana is the airport. Bavaro is where you actually want to be.

Our villa sits in Los Corales, the heart of Bavaro. A short walk to the beach. Walking distance to 20+ restaurants, two grocery stores, a bakery, two pharmacies, ATMs, a spa, and two gyms. NO CAR NEEDED.

✦ THE VILLA — 3,000 SQ FT, SLEEPS 10 ✦

Originally a 3-bedroom home, expanded in 2021 to 5 bedrooms, 5 ensuite marble bathrooms, and a powder room under the staircase. We also added the Sky Deck — a rooftop platform perched above the palm trees with views of the Caribbean Sea on one side and the tropical mountains on the other.

All 5 ensuite bathrooms were renovated with full floor-to-ceiling marble and oversized walk-in showers. No two are alike. The half-bath under the stairs is practical and convenient — not fancy, but useful.

Pat was a very responsive host and replied immediately to any of our queries. The house was within walking distance to the beach and the pool was almost directly below the house...lovely

The house is very big and comfortable, and it has everything you might need for your stay. There is plenty of restaurants and places to have ice cream, coffee or anything you need. We use uber to go everywhere since it is a great option and really cheap.

Yes. the house is a short walk to the beach. people often come back and forth during the day. The beach has 3 great restaurants with servers who will keep your glasses full or alternatively BYOB is quite OK. There are 2 restaurants within the gates of our community ( los Corales' signature community) plus 20+ restaurants outside the gates. I send a 50 page hospitality document plus a restaurant guide with menues and photos for ambience to reduce your learning curve before your visit and amplify you incredibly fine vacation.

Villa Poseidon was perfect for our large family of grown children. There was plenty of space in the 5 large bedrooms/bathrooms to retreat and have our own space as well as large living space to gather for meals and family time. The large deck with a grill was used for several evening meals and the rooftop deck was nice for sunning as well as relaxing after a day at the beach. The beach is about a block away with very easy access. There is a pool just outside the house which was refreshing, partially in the shade most of the day so it didn’t get too hot, you could always find a spot out of the sun if you wanted. There are several restaurants and small grocery stores close by to get groceries which was very handy. Pat does have a welcome booklet that lays out all these details which is very useful. Greg, the manager, is also very helpful. We did not rent a car and they arranged transportation from the airport to the house and back again for us. Pat is an excellent hostess. She truly wants everyone to have the best time and experience possible!! She answered all of my questions prior to traveling to the Dominican. On our final day our flight was cancelled and I thought we might end up sleeping on the beach as many flights were cancelled and hotels were full… but Pat let us stay in the house an additional night until our airline got our flight arrangements sorted out. Absolutely the hostess with the most.

I honestly feel like a good hostess should help their guests have the best vacation possible. Our house has some great ingredients. Great location, very close to the beach, and also tons of wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, 5 private bedrooms with attached private bathrooms. We have been improving our Villa Poseidon every year since 2012, when we bought it. Completely renovated, the house has plenty of common space and also plenty of private space. I wrote a hospitality booklet to help my guests to better enjoy the vacation by giving them all of the information they need about the beach, the pool, the house, the restaurants, where to find nightly entertainment, and excursions. When this group’s departing flight was cancelled last minute, I felt that it would be a lot easier for their large family to stay an extra night at Villa Poseidon than disrupt their vacation by continuing to search endlessly for hotel rooms for 14 people. My husband and I were supposed to move back into our house that night, but we were able to arrange a hotel room for just the 2 of us. That’s what good hosts do.

Loved this place.

Had a wonderful time at Pat's villa. It truly was a great place to spend a week. Had a great time and very quiet, just what we were looking for. Fantastic beech, great weather. Very good restaurants. Would love to go back here again, thanks Pat.

I am so happy to have the number of great families and friends that come to stay at my home. I love being a hostess and strive for evry group to have an incredibly fine vacation the memories of which last a lifetime. Thats why I wrote my hospitality book. I did all of the research so you wont have to. It is updated every year. details information on more than 20 restaurants - even menues. excursions, info on our private beach, the community, the house itself - its all there. Enjoy!

Comfortable villa well located

My friends and I very much enjoyed our time on the beach here. The villa is spacious and we loved hanging out on the covered deck. It’s close to nice local restaurants and all the beach activities. Be aware you will need to pay $10/day for sun beds.

Oh Julie, I am so sorry that you paid $10 a day. The sun beds are free - although I do recommend giving the beach attendants $1. a day per person becuase especially in the winter months - the beach attendants will make sure they get you a palapa with sun beds - just tell them you are Guests of J2. The hospitality document explains all of thei and even gives you a picture of the beach attendants and myself so they know you are a guest of my house.

A Great Stay

This is a great place to stay in Punta Cana, The Villa is safe and clean and on a great property. The beach is close by and everything else is a short Uber away. The property manager is responsive if you need anything and fortunately for us we did not have any issues with the house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who would like to stay

I did not love that construction either. In fact I hated it BUT there was a vacant lot and someone built on it. Thankfully it is 100% complete now and I must say the new building is quite beautiful.

Beautiful property...worth the cost. Minor adjustments will make it an overall 'Five Star' Rental. Solidly built, large rooms with bath for each...provides total privacy for all. We would rent all over again!

This guest did have a couple minor things that were not perfect and if you knew hard this team strives for perfection - you would understand how upset I am that we fell short. I personally text/ email every guest to be sure there isn't anything that needs improvement the morning after arrival, and did not hear about this imperfection until shortly before the group left . The maid had not cleaned the crumbs out from the toaster oven and also did not thoroughly clean the coffee maker. I am 100% sure that problem would have been fixed immediately if I was informed.

Perfect location

Perfect location close to everything need for our stay host was great with communication from the moment we book until we checked out she went above and beyond to ensure the safety of my family that was traveling from different airport. And ensure we had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay we where a group of 12 and it didn’t feel crowded house is very spacious the top deck was my favorite to sit and enjoy the evening breeze and a cocktail we will definitely recommend this property and will revisit.

I care about my guests vacations. I want everyone to have a really good time. So I am personally involved from the time you book to the time you depart. I work with our Villa manager, cleaning staff , driver team to help every group have the best vacation possible. I needed to help this group because they were arriving from both the Punta Cana airport as well as the Santo Domingo airport which is 3 hours away. Driving in the Dominican Republic can be very dangerous because local drivers especially motor cyclist pass both on the right and on the left even if you are turning. YOU NEED TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TURNING.

Family fun

This house was everything we wanted for our family of 6 (3 couples). It was one of several houses in a beautiful community of large spanish style villas. The immediate area was like a dream and very close to the beach(5 minute walk) Seaweed was a bit much, but I got used to it. We built precious memories.

Spacious and comfortable home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eugenie was a fabulous host with spot-on recommendations. The house was comfortably equipped with the necessities to make meals in the house. There were 9 of us staying here: 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 5, 7, 9). We all had enough space and spent our days at the beach and nights outside on the covered terrace. Thank you!

The owner was very good at responding to any and all questions or complications. 5 ladies enjoying a birthday celebration. The driver Cesar was absolutely the best ever. He was available to us every time we called. And great with helping us with trips throughout the vacation.

Out of the cold!

Los corales was a great villa with two convenient, reasonably priced and good restaurants right on sight. Pat has a spacious place for a group to stay. Beach is close by and a short walk to additional restaurants, grocery and shopping. Pat provides a ton of information and help to make your stay easy. If you need internet...she has a nice set up. I have stayed other places and was always getting bumped off.

Thanks for the compliment on our WIFI system. Unlike most places here in Punta Cana - our WIFI is not shared between numerous apartments. It is a Fios system which is dedicated for the exclusive use of the people within our house only. That means you DON'T t have to go outside to use it. . Also it is always available and fast enough for streaming video.

Great Beach Get Away

We had such a wonderful time at this Villa, in Los Corales and the DR. This was our first visit to this part of the Island and it did not disappoint. The water is crystal clear. The Villa is the perfect location for beach and pool with all the amenities. Pat is a perfect hostess and her tips of what to do and see we’re spot on. Greg, the property manager, was there at check in to welcome and to make sure we had the most enjoyable time. Highly recommend a visit to this Villa and the DR. Thanks Pat for opening your lovely home to us!

I believe that it is the responsibility of the host/hostess to help the guests to have a wonderful time. Doesn't matter if the guest is my best friend or someone I never met. That's why I wrote the 50 page hospitality booklet.The house, location, beach and amenities certainly help as does the team of property manager, driver, chef, cleaning staff all work together as a team to create this vacation.

Great Villa! Beautiful Location m

We loved the villa and Los Corales. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Pat for your detailed information. Eugenie is a gem! We had a traditional Dominican meal prepared for us that was fabulous. Having the beach chairs and palapa was such a treat. Feeling very spoiled. After a week at Los Corales we spent 3 nights at Hard Rock Resort. We may have enjoyed enjoyed our week at the villa more.

I wish more people would stay at my Villa instead of the all - inclusives. It REALLY is twice the fun at half the price. I hired a videographer from NYC to make a video of the experience. ask me and I will send it to you.

Great property in a safe neighborhood

I took hosted a graduation trip for my 18 yr old son and his four best friends. We found the house very much to our liking. Very comfortable beds and very convenient location just a few minutes walk to restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was just outside our door which was really nice to cook off in before and after the beach. We had a couple issues the first day and they were both addressed immediately by Gregory the property manager. We were also recommended a chef for a night by Pat and Gregory and it was truly one of the best meals we have ever had! Will definitely be renting again the next time we travel to PC!

Most relaxing vacation ever!

This was our first trip to Punta Cana. it was wonderful. The beach for this unit was beautiful. D'Angelos pizza as a perfect option for us for many meals. BaliCana was awesome also, I think we ate there 5 times. If you are willing to leave the community, NamNam was a wonderful surprise. The Chicken Boom was the bomb! There is also a very nice bakery close by that had great prices and fast service. Pat was wonderful to work with and the onsite help was great. Arturo, our driver, was very good. We are hoping to return and bring our children.

I am writing this response in fab 2020 - although many of the restaurants have changed hands in the last 5 years - the delight of our guests have not changed at all. I loved the experience of hosting this group and helping them have an incredibly fine vacation. Pat Fahy

Beautiful home that exceeded expectations

Pat is an amazing host. Of all the rental properties I’ve ever stayed in, I’ve never had someone so quick and thorough with their responses. We did have one issue though, the dishwasher was not working, BUT, Pat came through like a champ sent someone out (on her dime) twice to clean our dishes. We felt safe the entire time and the gated community was beautiful. I could not recommend this house enough. Thank you Pat :)

Thanks. I really enjoy hosting, helping my guests have a really great experience here in Punta Cana. I have additional resources that I can connect you with to make this a very special trip: a chef, a villa manager, an excursion office , a private driver - and a hospitality book that ties the whole vacation together and gives you the information about the private beach, the pool, the house itself, restaurants, and excursions – even tipping customs and where to find the ATM. We hired a new cleaning team and are experimenting with additional cleaning packages which will also be available in the soon future. About that dishwasher - We have had to hire a technician that works 3 hours away in Santo Domingo. He arrives Monday – July 22,2022. Dishwashers are extremely rare in the Punta Cana area and none of the big appliance stores here have anyone who can service them. BUT we are looking forward to its repair on Mopnday!

Punta cana

Awesome time condo is in a perfect location with restaurants and shops in walking distance. Beach is beautiful. You'll need to travel outside the neighborhood if your looking for cheaper restaurants and stores. Greg the manager took care of all the small problems that happened when we were there . Ac breaker broke but was fixed in about 2 hours. They have some construction going on and the water was on off the first couple days but it t was resolved quickly. Great place for groups or a couple families.

We maintain a crew that consists of a Villa manager- Greg , a repair staff headed up by Marcos , A cleaning team headed up by Estafany, a driving team headed up by Cesar and an excursion office which is conveniently located 75 yards from the house. We do that so that we can maintain really high standrads for keeping everything well maintained and fixing anything that needs to be fixed asap. I am the owner and I am in touch with every group of guests from the time they make an inquiry to the time they get on their departure airplane. I care deeply about YOUR vacation being wonderful and work with each group to make sure they attain that.

Wonderful retreat, old world charm

This large upper house was wonderful for our 12 day stay. 630 steps from Los Corales Beach, this little enclave is sheltered from noise and activity of bustling plaza and night life just blocks away. It's convenient to grocery stores and dining. The house was clean and well kept. Five bedrooms each with it's own bath was wonderful. Dishwasher and washer and dryer a plus. Pat Faye, the owner, was steps away and very responsive to any questions or needs. She has researched and documented all needs in a hospitality guide. She went above and beyond! This is our third trip to Los Corrales. We would definitely rent here again.

Stay in Los Corales Villa was wonderful!

The property is in a nice gated community, very quiet and beautify kept. Close to a wonderful beach and all the walk to restaurants we ate at were good. The community pool was never packed and a nice alternative to the beach. The house was spacious for the 6 adults in our group. The kitchen could use some updating, but we didn't go there to cook. We followed Pat's recommendation for keeping the house cool and only used the air conditioner a few times keeping our electric bill down. Pat, the owner was very helpful from the time we reserved her house to check out. Yves the driver she recommended was the best. All of the people we interacted with were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again if I come back to the DR.

The Kitchen did need some updating and we already replaced the refrigerator and next we plan on replacing the stove. It is fully functional but not as aethetically pleasing as we would like. Toaster Oven/Convection oven Coffe pot, microwave all work fine. we painted. I am alwys happy to answer questions before during and after your vacation. to me being a host is more than giving you access to a lovely spacious house in a wonderrful location on a great beach. It really is about helping you to plan to have an incredible vacation with your family and friends and create wonderful memories.

From spring through fall, I live on a golf course community near Indian River Bay on the Delaware coast. From late fall through winter, I migrate back to our villa in Bavaro Beach, where I spend about 35% of the year.

I'm a Real Estate Broker by trade — owner of Pat Fahy and Associates in Philadelphia, and one of the first female Broker-Owners in the state of Pennsylvania. My daughter Lori, also a licensed Broker (PA Broker of Record, Bally Gwynedd Realty), co-hosts the villa with me.

We've owned this villa for over a decade and have been hosting guests here for 11 years.

For 20 years, I searched over 30 islands in the Caribbean looking for the perfect vacation home.

I found it in 2012, in Los Corales. Within 10 days of first seeing the house, I owned it. I fell in love with the weather — warm and unwavering, year after year. Miles of white sand beaches. A beachfront community with a private beach, easygoing beach bars, and a BYOB welcome culture. This is where the expats gather in the winter, and a real village has grown up around us.

Inside the gates: incredibly quiet and safe. Outside the gates: more restaurants than I can visit in two months, plus pharmacies, bakeries, gelato to die for, the best popsicles I've ever eaten, and live entertainment on and off the beach.
It didn't hurt that there were over 30 nearby golf courses to choose from.

✦ MY IDEAL DAY HERE ✦

A round of golf in the morning.
A snack and a cocktail at the Villa Blanca Beach Bar, followed by an afternoon under a Cana palapa on the private beach.
In the evening, dinner at one of the great inexpensive restaurants nearby, usually with friends — and after dinner, live music. Dancing under the stars never gets old.

Of course, none of it would be the same without my partner Bill.

Five ensuite bedrooms — every bedroom with its own private marble bath. The ideal way to travel for couples who value privacy and space.
Three large furnished balconies, plus a TV-room / 5th bedroom with two double beds for an extra couple or a few kids.

✦ THE BEACH ✦

Los Corales is one of the very few gated, safe, quiet beachfront communities directly on Bavaro Beach. Our private section of the beach is attended by McKensie, our wonderful beach attendant — he'll have your lounge chair ready under a palapa for shade.

BYOB is welcome. So are the beach bars, who will bring whatever you want to your lounger. Villa Blanca Beach Club is my favorite. Cabanas are free with a drink purchase, and Sunday afternoon entertainment is excellent.

Within the Los Corales gates, there are 2 restaurants. Four more sit on the beach right in front of the community, and 20+ more are a short walk just outside the gates.

The food is delicious and surprisingly inexpensive — most platters under $12.
Nightly entertainment runs the gamut: live musicians, different vibes, beach parties, and dancing. Even people who never dance often dance under the stars of Los Corales. This is a very fun place.
