This community is perfect for a family reunion/vacation, or a romantic getaway. Atmosphere and location are excellent! The beach offers many activities including snorkeling, windsurfing, glass bottom boat, parasailing, fishing, or banana boat rides. The beach at Los Corales is the best beach of all beach front communities in Bavaro Beach, Punta Cana.

Our community is small and walkable. Step out your door and in a 3-minute walk, you are there with beach chairs waiting and a beach attendant to set them up for you!

It doesn’t end at sunset. If nightlife is what you seek, there are many clubs, casinos, sports bars and restaurants along the beach and in Punta Cana. Don’t feel like going anywhere? There are two restaurants on the property. They include an Italian restaurant and the Enjoy restaurant located in the piazza. Also, there is a great toes in the sand beach bar/restaurant Soles. The best part is that it is all available to you. You choose what you want and always return to a quiet, clean comfortable villa to re-energize for the next day.

There is a grocery store, bakery, many more restaurants and bars, and pharmacy are all within walking distance. Other amenities located in our beach front community are a wellness center/spa. All are excellent and fairly priced. There is no need to waste valuable luggage space with beach towels and linens, we provide them for you. While you are relaxing on the beach, our staff will handle your laundry (at no additional charge). They will be glad to ensure that you avoid hours of laundry upon your return home.

Great place for two couples or a small family. Close to beach and lots of dining options. The owner, Brad, is super responsive and provides lots of good information to make for a wonderful, stress-free vacation. From the driver who will pick you up and drop you off at the airport to the maid who cleans up and does laundry daily and the guy who sets up beach chairs for you, everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This 2-Bedroom and 2-Bathroom ground-floor suite was perfect for our 10-night stay Punta Cana. The unit is just as described. It is located in La Piazzetta Suites Los Corales which is a well-maintained, clean, safe, quiet area with lots of restaurants and super/mini markets within a short walk. Our journey started with a 4 hour flight delay but Jose and his backup driver accommodated professionally and greeted us with a smile. The driver waited for us while we picked up groceries on the way to the unit late at the evening. We really enjoyed the screened-in porch area for morning breakfasts and a place to work benefiting from the high-speed free WIFI. Nirka the maid who cleans up and does laundry daily was great blessing. The family loved her. Reynito, the beach attendant who sets up the beach chairs for us daily was a bundle of joy. What a gorgeous beach. Lots of great communication from the owner prior and during our stay. Brad took care of a stove related issue promptly and got it replaced the next morning with a brad new one. As a gentle gesture, he offered the family to pay for dinner as a compensation. This rental is a great place to enjoy. Strongly recommended. Will be back again!

Perfectly described and very comfortable

The unit was clean and just as described. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to use smart tv to get into Netflix and Amazon easily. There was some construction going on nearby so an alternate path to the beach was a bit nicer of an experience but that’s just a limited time inconvenience. Nirka was a treat to have clean and do our laundry and Jose the taxi driver was very nice and reliable.

Exactly what you expect

We rented both units for a week. It was my fourth time renting over ten years. We always have a clean place, feel safe, and enjoy our time in the units, on the beach, and the surrounding restaurants outside the community and in. Will be back again!

Beach Vacation- February getaway

Brad's condo was perfect for our 1 week stay Punta Cana. The unit is just as described and the previous reviews were helpful in our selecting this location.Shout out to our driver Jose, who picked us up at the airport and waited for us while we picked up groceries. What we liked most about the unit: 5 minute walk to the beach, quiet area, lots of restaurants within a short walk. We did not need a car while we were here.Also we really enjoyed the screened-in porch area for morning breakfasts and a place to get out of the rain.Lots of great communication from the owner prior to our arrival. This rental is a great place to enjoy the sun!

Much needed relaxation.

Very relaxing. Nice amenities. Especially José, the driver and the housekeeper. Some problems with maintenance issues (air conditioner, cable) but quickly corrected. Construction behind the Villa and in the area was annoying and a distraction. But nothing the beautiful beach couldn’t overcome. Highly recommend.

Priced Well; Very Clean

Dealing with the owner and his local representatives went seamlessly and we are grateful for that as no one wants that added stress when traveling. The villa we rented was very clean, but is showing signs of aging and needs a renovation. The first change I would make is to add 'normal' chairs. There were benches and high chairs, but nothing 'normal'. The property itself is also showing signs of neglect (overgrown/uncut landscape, pool needed cleaning, old and moldy pool and beach chairs, uneven walkways). Much of this was overshadowed by the fact that the weather was fabulous and the beach is relatively close and it was indeed a gorgeous beach...very walkable)

Family Stay on Bavaro Beach

This property location is actually super ideal. The little village of Los Corales had things to do and was super safe. Your actual place is gated for extra security. The property was super clean. It was just a little bit of a walk to the beach; the property is adjacent to another property that is right on the beach. But I enjoyed being able to see a little hint of the culture. And it was less than a two minute walk on more of a pathway/driveway than a road. It's so great to see and interact with the locals in Los Corales, too. We had a great time shopping on a rain day, but be prepared to negociate everything:) I was pretty bad at that. Once you get on the beach, to your immediate south is a long strip of all inclusive resorts. And to the north if you go 200-300 yards you can visit the cute little neighborhood of el cortecito which had a lot of restaurants. You can walk for miles along Bavaro beach which makes punta cana such a great destination. The locals are so kind and friendly. We didn't speak any spanish which was a pitfall, but we got by. It would have been cooler if we could speak more to the locals, but my 5, 7 and 9 year old keep us pretty busy anyway. The kids did great and had a wonderful time. While the resorts are nice, it blocks you from the culture of the island and that's something you don't want to miss. Stopping at the grocery store with Jose probably saved us quite a lot of $$. It was fun to cook and have our own delicious coffee in the mornings. Brad is super helpful and responsive and I'd come back here in a second. We did have a bit of a problem getting cash but that's because I didn't bring a MasterCard/Visa debit card. The people in Los Corales definitely preferred Cash, whether it was in pesos or other currency. They would take credit card and even discover, but there weren't any ATMs for a discover card. Such a fabulous stay! It was not difficult to book excursions. I pre-booked a snorkel tour, but we did parasailing with all the kids from the beach. Beach escape

Overall, our stay was wonderful! Brad was super accessible and had a lot of advice! We even ran into him/his family at the beach and they helped us with beach chairs and dining advice! The house is within a gated community of what seems like multiple communities (this was a bit confusing). There were two excellent restaurants! The pizza restaurant was absolutely delicious (and We are from NY) and you MUST try the seafood risotto! I ordered it numerous times. The other way Joy-its inly open in the morning and early afternoon. You MUST try the popsicles and the arepas! The house is small for american standards but most likely luxurious in terms of DR. It has two bedrooms and bathrooms which was great! All Linens and even beach towels were included! The house was clean and neat with most things you would need (if you want to cook pick up some spices such as salt and pepper because there was none as in other VRBOs we have stayed-grab some butter and cheddar cheese at big store-yum yum). Otherwise there were cooking items for the gas stove and cutlery/plastic cups and dishes. The maid does all the cleaning -even the dishes! The air conditioning is top notch! The beach is spectacular! Check out the sunrise at least once (Rinnato was there early to set up our beach chairs even at sunrise). The beach has a lot of seaweed both on the beach and in the water but it is not slimy or gross like we have on Long Island NY. The walk to the beach was at first longer then expected but in reality it is right there…there was some construction (which was fascinating to watch). Soles was amazing-right on the beach where you can sit at tables, couches or even beach loungers! We used our credit card and american dollars for EVERYTHING. We never needed pesos. We brought lots of small bills to pay for things exactly. There is a 30% tax at restaurants which was surprising and confusing however we still tipped at least 20%+ as all the employees in DR worked so very hard!! If you want to leave the gated area there is a town right outside with stores, restaurants and pharmacies. It takes some getting used to but overall felt safe and eventually comfortable. We went on a snorkeling boating tour that was just amazing. Hispaniola aquatic adventures punta cana!! Check them out! The local mini marts are limited but have the very basics and beers/liquors. Having jose stop at big grocery store on the way great! Any questions specific questions ask brad.

Two weeks in Punta Cana

We had a great time enjoying beautiful weather and warm ocean water. Neighboring restaurants are good, food is fresh. We especially enjoyed grilled fish at Soles restaurant. The house was clean and well equipped, however the extra bed in the living room had a broken frame therefore was not functional. The small table under the TV fall completely apart when we wanted to move it few inches - it was put together by our maid the next day. Our maid did not speak a single word of English so communication was difficult, but she daily cleaned the house and did the laundry, which was a big plus. Jose, our driver was very pleasant, and was a huge help since he did speak English. I need to point out several things that surprised us. First, we had a terrible time communicating at restaurants because almost nobody speaks English. It was very strange considering the country heavily relays on tourism. Second, service at the restaurants is beyond slow. We waited for over an hour (on average!) for our meals to be delivered. We took a trip to Saona island which was a day wasted. The island is packed with tourists being delivered by motor boats and catamarans blasting music and filling air with gasoline stench.The trip took over 3 hours one way. Our beach was beautiful. White sand and palm trees. There is seaweed, and it is not being cleaned as it is in front of resort hotels, so one needs to be prepared for this. The beach is not a private beach, but we had access to lounge chairs that were given to us daily by some kind of beach attendant who had a key to a huge chain that was wrapped around lounge chairs. Most of the days the beach was pretty quiet, but one or twice groups of 30-45 local teenagers came and, understandingly, loud music was blasting and there were screams of laughter etc. Again, we understood this since it is not a private beach. Relaxing on the beach on such days, however, was not possible. There are local vendors of sorts walking on the beach trying to sell their services, from massages, boat rides, parasailing etc. etc. We were approached every day during our 13 days of stay, at least three times a day. We got used to this, but it might be annoying to some people. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed a great, whole day trip to Santo Domingo. Jose took us to see several places there to sightsee and was an excellent guide. We recommend the place for people like us who don’t like all inclusive resorts or hotels. Thank you

Incredible alternative to the all-inclusive resorts

I absolutely loved staying at this property at Bavaro Beach. First, the communication with Brad was lightning fast, friendly, and helpful. And his helpers, Yajaira (maid) and Jose (drivers) are two of my new favorite people (seriously, I would trust my kids with them). It was my first trip to D.R. and was not sure what to expect. All I knew is that I wanted to be close to the beach and had zero interest in staying at an all-inclusive resort. The beach is a very short .15 mile walk from the beautiful villa. And my other new favorite person, Renito, set me up with a beach chair every morning. Let me say this. The sunrises at this beach are the best I have seen in my entire life. Better than Mexico, and Brazil, even better than Thailand. Absolutely stunning. As far as the villa goes, it was very clean, well equipped, and so comfortable. The neighborhood is safe with many food options. My one tip would be to keep more US dollars on hand. I was surprised that so many places preferred US$ over DR pesos. A grocery stop from airport is key. I stocked up on rum, coca cola, limes and snacks. I was set! Thank you Brad for letting me stay at your wonderful property. I hope to be back with family/friends very soon!!!

Older but charming place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is an older but charming place and clean. The outdoor entry feels like you're walking through a garden to a cottage with beautiful flowering bushes on either side and a vined arbor gate. Brad was excellent to work with and although it was difficult to communicate with the maid, she was very nice and friendly and did a great job. (Although, be aware that she does not wash women's delicates like bras and underwear, so maybe not swimming suits either, if you're hoping to take advantage of the laundry service.) We had a great experience working with the small travel company right across the street and next to the 24 hour mini mart. His name is Melvin Duran and his number is 1.829.370.7381. He was super helpful and easy to work with. The guys at the mini mart were very nice too. We give Joy's Popsicle place two thumbs up and wished we had eaten there earlier in the week, but ate there twice (back to back) toward the end of the week because the food and popsicles were so good. Our plane arrived late, so Jose sent another taxi driver, but Jose took us to the airport at the end of our stay. He was GREAT to talk to, and we wished he had picked us up from the airport as well. I'm not sure where Chicho and Jose normally meet people at the airport, but the guy Jose sent actually met us just as you exit the airport outside (vs. right as you exit customs) so FYI. I'd agree with other comments about being approached at the beach. We probably had at least 5 people approach us each day, but most were not pushy and left you alone if you said no thank you. A few were even great about remembering our faces and welcomed us back to the beach with big smiles each day, so that was very welcoming. We highly recommend!

Wonderful Peaceful Retreat

This place is a piece of paradise. We have stayed two years in a row and would like to return again. Beds comfortable, cleanly kept. The support staff (while not English speaking use their phones for translation and take wonderful care of us).

Great Time

Comfortable villa with all amenities. Attentive staff, including daily housekeeping, and laundry was terrific. Thank you Naomi. Nice driver, Chicho, who picked us up in Santo Domingo to drive us to Bavaro. All arranged through the owner, Brad. Los Corales Village has a beautiful garden location with easy access to beach and town. Everything walkable. For local eateries, I highly recommend the French bakery and juice bars for breakfast, and for dinner, Citrus and Taino restaurants. We booked our island excursions through Visita Republica Dominica, which is inside Los Corales Village. Melvin, the owner, speaks English well, and organized great visits around the island for us. Take his private all-day tour to Samoa Island. Unforgettable! My daughter had an injury on the beach in front of the villas and many kind local people helped us out, including the man who helped us with the beach chairs every morning, who we fondly call “Papa”. He carried our teenaged daughter back to the villa. A local doctor sutured her up in the villa, which was much more comfortable for her and convenient for us than going to the local hospital, especially during the Easter holiday! Thank you Dr Josef! The only minor annoyance on our first day was the hustlers on the beach who run/own the local “shopping center”. They were a bit insistent on selling us everything from excursions to souvenirs, alcohol and tobacco products. They don’t give up easily. Just beware of this. If you don’t wish to give them your business, don’t engage them in conversation and be firm and clear. “No gracias, we are all set. We would like to be left alone.” They will respect your wishes. All in all this was a very good, stress free, and fun family vacation for us!

Very nice quiet relaxation

A couple of times the water was off for short duration, but not a big deal. Several different types of restaurants close by, short walk to a great beach, very nice!

We loved the area and the information that they gave us was helpful. Villa had just the right space for the 4 of us for 5 days. We liked that it was close to the ocean, and 3 restaurants right in area, all wonderful and good selection. Another plus was a dessert spot called Joy had frozen pops of all flavors to enjoy at night(our favorite). We had transportation and a maid for the villa which was a nice perk. Overall our experience was delightful.

Very nice! Clean! Good location

We had a wonderful vacation with our daughter and two grandchildren. Chicho met us at the airport and Morena met us at the villa. Both very nice and well organized. The villa is clean and has everything you could need. We stayed in for breakfast and lunch and ate dinner out. The Italian restaurant and the Joy popsicles were a hit. The pool is close as well as the beach. A close walk to the bakery, small grocery stores and restaurants off the resort. There is sand toys and snorkeling equipment as well. The screened in area is a lovely spot. Security is present. We felt safe at all times. We would definitely go back.

Perfect for us!

From our original communication with Brad, through the fantastic stay in the Villa and returning home to receive our deposit in the mail, this whole experience was first class. Chicho picked us up at the airport as planned with a huge smile on his face. The Villa is equipped with everything we needed, centrally located, near to the beach, restaurants and More. Morena, of course, was wonderful!. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
