WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY MOUNTAIN HOME! New to VRBO this home is an ideal place for your family vacation! With 4,000 sq. ft. there is plenty of space for everyone and can comfortably accommodate 12 guests!

The house sleeps up to 12 in beds and has the following configuration: 1 Master with King Bed, 3 Guestrooms with Queen Beds, and a Kids room off the master bedroom on the upper level with 4 twin beds.

From the time you enter the front door….until you look through the expansive windows to the outside…..you will know immediately you are going to love being here! With the huge open yard which adjoins the Kit Carson National Forest, it is a wilderness playground for elk and deer. Through the huge pine trees you can see the mountains as you take in the peace and quiet of nature from the large deck which surrounds the living room and dining area.

With all the amenities of home, it’s the wonderful Kitchen where everyone will love to gather. With beautiful cabinets, a great central island, and large and small appliances, you can cook for a few---or cook for a lot! Ample dishes and flatware, cookware and serving pieces, kitchen linens, cookbooks---we have tried to provide all the comforts of home…..all you need is the food!

You’ll love this home’s location! Not only is it located just 2 minutes from the ski resort and just a short drive to the golf course, it is also just off the main highway and up a gentle sloping road which passes right by Angel Fire’s main grocery store. The store is surprisingly well stocked and the people are friendly.

Besides the kitchen, the main level features the dining area with a favorite dining table which comfortably seats 8. The bar off the kitchen island offers additional seating on two bar stools.

It opens to the living room with soaring ceilings, a wood-burning rock fireplace, Flat Screen TV, surround sound, floor-to-ceiling windows for those spectacular views, attractive and comfortable furnishings, plus even a family piano with fun music pieces in the piano bench.

Additionally, there are two (2) Bedrooms with Queen Beds, large closets, and televisions in each. The shared bathroom is a typical “Jack and Jill” with a tub/shower combination between the two private areas. One side has a vanity cabinet with sink, and the other side has a pedestal sink.

The washer and dryer are on the main level and so is a separate tiled entry room which is the perfect place for getting out of your ski gear, and keeping your boots inside. Lots of hooks for hanging coats, and cubbies for storing gloves, goggles, scarves, hats, or other items.

The Upper Level houses the Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, and Kids’ Bunk Room. Featuring a vaulted ceiling, large windows, a ceiling fan, huge walk in closet, a large-screen TV, and a King Size Bed, the Master also has a fabulous Master Bath. It has separate vanities and sinks, a walk-in shower, jetted tub, and towel warmer.

Just off the Master is the brightly decorated Kids’ room with 4 twin beds and still lots of room to play!

Moving downstairs you’ll find another large den area with a Kiva fireplace, lots of comfortable seating, and a wonderful pool table featuring a light fixture which is truly a work of art! Slightly around the corner but still open to the den is a media area with a 60” Big Screen, and a great leather sectional sofa with matching club chair. Additionally there is a felted poker table for cards or games.

It has satellite TV with many family/sports/movies and local channels. Both TVs have DVD players. The stereo has cassette, CD and a connector for an iPod. The house has high speed Internet and wireless DSL.

This home is set up perfectly to entertain the grownups on the main level while letting the kids enjoy their own space downstairs. Or everyone can gather down around the pool table and large screen TV for a family time of laughter and play!

The lower level also has another guest Bedroom with a Queen Bed and offers privacy with an open window view of the back. The downstairs bathroom has a large shower and vanity with plenty of dressing area.

Also on this level is a separate room which houses the 5 person Hot Tub and the 3-4 person Sauna. It is great for relaxation and your enjoyment, but always use at your own risk, and particularly with caution when children are around. There are comfy chairs for those who just want to visit and take in the view from the surrounding windows!

Or you can move to the outside lower deck which stretches from here across the den area and has a smaller covered deck with outside bench and a chiminea. Whether upstairs or down, one of the best features of the house is the view from the back deck.

We have hiking trails adjacent to the house which are great for family walks. Our yard is a great size for kids. In the summer--- it's a fun place for them to run and play or to explore nature while you join in or watch from the decks! In the winter, it is perfect for sledding, building snowmen, or the ever-popular snowball fights!
