It’s hard to know where to begin when describing Fantasy Island because it has so much to offer. When you first arrive, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a Nicholas Sparks romance novel. The house has a large winding driveway that can accommodate up to 10 cars and is surrounded by palm trees and iconic southern oaks, providing you with seclusion and privacy. From there, you’ll be greeted by the welcoming covered porch. Before even unpacking, you’ll want to drop your cares and spend some time sipping an iced tea while catching up on some gossip or that book you finally have time to finish.

Cooking and Dining

This property is ideal for gathering your family and friends, with its spacious three-floor layout and massive kitchen fully equipped and well-stocked to serve the whole crew. With a kitchen like this, the cooks in the family will inevitably be inspired to settle in and make some culinary magic on its granite countertops, with brand-new appliances and a gas stove. Undoubtedly the kitchen will become the hub of the home where everyone can gather around the table to help prepare meals and sit around the large family dining table located in the sunroom. There’s also plenty of room in the private backyard for barbecuing and dining outdoors.

Living Spaces

This beach house has all the nostalgia of yesteryear but is loaded with modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. We’ve equipped it with lightning-fast wifi so you can catch up on emails and upload your Insta-worthy photos. There are also four TVs connected to Comcast throughout the home, with a massive flat screen in the living room just above the cozy gas fireplace for a family movie night. Who’s bringing the popcorn?

From the second and third floor, you’ll also have a peak of the ocean’s emerald water, and from the front porch, you can enjoy a nightly display of cotton candy-colored sunsets.

Sleeping Accommodations

The sleeping accommodations are just another way this home shines. With six bedrooms and three and a half baths, there is space for up to 16 guests to stay and sleep comfortably.

Located on the main floor is the master suite with a comfortable king-size poster bed and ensuite that offers a double vanity. You can also enjoy the jet tub with a glass of wine after a day at the beach or on the town in Charleston.

The second floor also has a master bedroom with a private ensuite and a double vanity. Two more sizable bedrooms are located on the second floor with queen-sized beds that share a four-piece bathroom.

Bedrooms five and six are located on the third floor with three twin beds and a sleeper sofa in one and two queen size beds in the other. This roomy and bright space is the perfect spot for kids. Parents on the main floor, kids upstairs - everyone’s happy!

Also provided are a large washer and dryer to help you stay on top of wet towels and laundry.

Things To Know

Should you wish to bring your dog, please notify the owner and pay the pet fee of $200 per dog. Cats are prohibited.

Are you planning an event? We’d love to accommodate you if you’re planning a small event of up to 25 people. Our unique location at the end of a cul de sac and gorgeous untouched marshland surrounding the backyard makes it a terrific place to hold intimate weddings, family reunions, milestone celebrations or anything else you’re celebrating. Please remember that we must approve all events that exceed our maximum of 16 guests. For events, a “party fee” will be applied. Feel free to reach out to us if you’re interested, and we’d be happy to answer any questions.

We have also adopted the Covid-19 protocols that the CDC has set out for your health and safety. When you stay with us, you can be confident that we have paid particular attention to the disinfecting of all high touch surfaces, proper cleaning of all linens and the use of highly effective cleaning products.

Our beautiful beach house is conveniently tucked away at the end of a gravel road on a private cul de sac. When we found it, we instantly fell in love with it here, not only because of the beauty of the home but because of its incredible location. In less than a mile walk, you can find yourself in the exciting little beach town, named as one of America’s “last true beach towns.” You’ll love its easy-breezy slow pace, boho boutiques and delicious restaurants serving up some delicious seafood.

If you’ve set your sights on spending as much time on the beach and the water, you’ll be overwhelmed by the options available to you, from beachside picnic areas and grills to kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, boating and biking. Folly Beach has it all.

To top it off, we are only a short drive to the picturesque historic city of Charleston. With pastel row homes, guided tours to see all the historical sites, and exciting nightlife, you’ll never be bored here. Pro tip: make sure you have a ton of room on your phone for pictures because there’s a photo opportunity around every corner here.
