Five star review location, location, location. This is hands-down the best place to stay in Montreat. The location simply cannot be beat. Sitting on the upstairs porch with family and friends while listening to the laughter of children playing in the park across the street is pure heaven. you’re within a very easy walking distance of the tennis courts, the Bill Wilde youth center, and the playground making it incredibly convenient for families. We love seeing all the activity around town from club events to children riding by and enjoying the community. The home itself is exceptionally wealth appointed everything you could possibly need is provided from a fully stocked kitchen to phone chargers, conveniently located both upstairs and downstairs. There are plenty of beds, making it easy to accommodate an extended family and friends. The outdoor spaces are beautiful with lovely gardens and colorful flowers surrounding the property. We especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and bees in the yard while relaxing on the porch. Inside there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. With multiple TVs and two separate sitting areas some guys could watch sports while others enjoy the movie. The collection of board games was a wonderful bonus for rainy afternoons.Another huge advantage is parking. It can be hard to find in Montreat but this home offers, ample parking

Wonderful Christmas week at Park Place.

We had a great week in this comfortable and attractively furnished Montreat house. We especially enjoyed having the fireplace. Such a peaceful retreat

We just loved our stay in Montreat - so peaceful being in the mountains - and yet surrounded by so many interesting, fun and active things to do. The house was great with probably the most well equipped kitchen rental kitchen I've had. The owners were very responsive, helpful and flexible. All in all, a great vacation!

A 4th generation Montreater, I wanted to give our children the opportunity to experience summers and off-season weekends in this beautiful place. We live less than 3 hours away and come up often to stay in our nearby family home. In order to have more flexibility, my husband and I purchased Park Place in 2013, completely renovated it, and gave it a new life. We consider Montreat to be our second home. We hope you will love this place as much as we do!
