Location - Park Place is centrally located in Montreat, directly across the street from beautiful Robert Lake Park and the Montreat tennis courts. We are walking distance to everything in Montreat, a 5 minute drive to Black Mountain town center, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville and Biltmore.

Features - Fully renovated in 2013 and continuously updated, this Air Conditioned home features wonderful outdoor spaces, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, comfortable sleeping areas, and is located in the ideal Montreat location.

Main Floor - The main floor includes a large outdoor deck, kitchen/den/dining combination as well as a spacious living room, all overlooking Robert Lake Park, the Bill Wilde Youth Center, and tennis courts.

Top Floor - Upstairs, the master ensuite comes complete with jacuzzi tub and separate sitting area. 3 other bedrooms share 2 full baths with 2 bedrooms featuring built in vanity sinks to alleviate the 'toothbrushing rush'.

Enjoy mountain views and the sounds of nearby Flat Creek from the spacious 300 square foot upper screened porch or lower open deck.

Located within walking distance to all of the Montreat attractions and inside the Conference Center area, Park Place is less than a 5 minute walk to Lake Susan, 5 minute drive to Black Mountain, and 20 minute drive to Asheville.

This is an ideal spot for families as well as a girls' getaway or men's golfing group.

Always lovely

This house is perfect for a mountain getaway. The high speed internet is great for remote work. The proximity to tennis, the playground, and the creek is perfect for recreation. The screened porch is ideal for relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked. We are repeat guests and always love it!

Wonderful Christmas week at Park Place.

We had a great week in this comfortable and attractively furnished Montreat house. We especially enjoyed having the fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked, and we were able to easily host our nearby family for Christmas dinner. While we were there in winter, we could imagine how enjoyable the porches would be other seasons.

Park Place primo!

Our 2 adult daughters and their families stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend for a family event. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Flawlessly clean, well-appointed with plenty of room for family to gather while the second floor large enough to allow privacy.

The ideal mountain house for families

The greatest thing about this house is the location. It is steps away from a hidden gem playground that is all over the Asheville area mommy blogs and forums. It is called Robert lake park and it’s a magical hidden playground inside the montreat community. There are several mountain creeks running through this playground, a Gaga ball pit, a gazebo, shaded tree cover, swings and traditional play equipment. This is the perfect place for a family to stay when they need to let the kids roam and play to get energy out. The open air porch and screened porch are where you will spend all of your time. There is plenty of seating for big group dinners. The kitchen is great for cooking. We stay here every single year. We are so grateful that this perfect mountain house exists!

Great Stay!

Wow, what a wonderful and comfortable home in an ideal location! The kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed sitting on the huge deck, enjoying the outdoors and listening to the creek across the street. Highly recommend this home.

Another great summer vacation at park place

We have stayed in this house every summer for years. It feels like a home away from home. The host, Margaret, is incredible! The house is so comfy and perfect for our family. The absolute best thing about this house is the location across the street from a playground, creek, gaga ball arena, and tennis court. The screened porch, modern kitchen, and multiple sitting areas for socializing are also a plus.

Fantastic Montreat House

Perfect location in Montreat. Well equipped house with plenty of room. We had 2 adults and 5 kids and more than enough room for a great week stay. The porches are amazing, and the location allows kids total independence in Montreat with easy access to park, creek, tennnis, Huckleberry, lake, Lookout trail, etc. Thanks to Margaret for easy communication and a great stay. We hope to be back.

The ideal Mountain getaway

We love Park Place and visit every year! It is the perfect mountain getaway. The location is incredible especially for our active children who love walking a few steps to the magical mountain playground. We love long nights sitting on the screened porch and listening to the creek while enjoying a book. The kitchen has all the comforts of home and the WiFi is fast enough for remote work.

We really enjoy the location of Park Place because the children can so easily access clubs, the creek and the tennis courts. The house is very well appointed with new furniture and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with condiments too.

Awesome place!

We have stayed in a couple of dozen vacation rental homes over there years. This home was probably thé best one we have stayed in! Beautiful house very well maintained and perfectly furnished down to every detail! The location is also perfect! Home is in an idealistic setting across from a cute community park and babbling stream which you can hear from the screened porch! The whole experience was just perfect! Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again! Montreat is now one of the top places we have visited! Great hiking and gorgeous setting!

Fabulous location

The house was perfect for the 8 of us. Cozy seating, gas fireplace enhanced the reliable heating system, incredibly wwll stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a chiminea on the deck. The park across the street was perfect for entertaining our 2 toddlers. Close to Black Mountain, lots of yummy restaurants. Not far from Asheville and many hiking options nearby.

Such a peaceful retreat

We just loved our stay in Montreat - so peaceful being in the mountains - and yet surrounded by so many interesting, fun and active things to do. The house was great with probably the most well equipped kitchen rental kitchen I've had. The owners were very responsive, helpful and flexible. All in all, a great vacation!

A 4th generation Montreater, I wanted to give our children the opportunity to experience summers and off-season weekends in this beautiful place. We live less than 3 hours away and come up often to stay in our nearby family home. In order to have more flexibility, my husband and I purchased Park Place in 2013, completely renovated it, and gave it a new life. We consider Montreat to be our second home. We hope you will love this place as much as we do!

Montreat is the perfect vacation spot for families and adult groups alike. So much to do here. Park Place is ideally located in the Valley of Montreat, directly across from Robert Lake Park, close to all attractions, activities, and hiking trails, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville.

Location, location, location! Walking distance to all of the attractions in Montreat. Park your car in one of our 3-4 off-road parking spaces and let it sit while you enjoy the convenience of walking to Lake Susan, the Conference Center, Currie Craft Center, The Huckleberry Cafe, Children's Day Camps (Clubs), the tennis courts, and all of the great hiking trails in the area. Want to just relax during your stay? Enjoy a book, sit and rock, take a nap, or play a board game on our 300sf screened porch with the sounds of flat creek and mountain views. We are also located 20-30 minutes from Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore house, and only 5 minutes from Black mountain with all of it's quaint restaurants and shopping.
