Our quaint oceanfront home in Las Gaviotas offers our guests the comfort of a home-away-from home. Located on the shore of Las Gaviotas, you can walk down to the private beach! Enjoy the infinity edge spa or a great meal on the patio at sunset. Community amenities include tennis court, pool & spa, shuffleboard and 24-hour security. The surf is great here too and it's just a short drive to Puerto Nuevo for dinner!

It's a Beautiful Day, Everyday! The Check-in at the Guard Station was easy and friendly. The Villa is well equipped and we found everything needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. The Smart TV's in the Living Room and both Bedrooms were more than we needed. The Beds were so comfortable, we decided we needed to upgrade our own at home. We felt really safe! Super Market CaliMax is nearby with very fresh foods and El Pescador Restaurant was great! There's a beautiful sandy beach and great views of the Surfers and Volleyball players.We had great on site Service provided by the Property Manager. We will definitely come stay again next year! Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect location to watch the surf.

Amazing place for a quick surf vacation. The location provides a perfect view for non-surfers and the spa is a must for warming up after a couple hours in the water. We will definitely stay. In this unit again.

Spring break stay with the family.

We first panicked when checking in because the front security staff did not even know we had reserved the house. The host did not send us the specific check in form to hold our license plate and agreement to give the guards ahead of time. If you rent this house please make sure to ask for this specific signed check-in agreement needed for the front guards at Las Gaviotas neighborhood. The guards called the house manager and settled it. Also make sure to keep in mind that the hot tub has its own mind and sometimes is hot enough and sometime chilly and has no controls to use. Upon arrival we were told by a maintenance staff that the water level of the tub was too low for the spa to work properly and we needed to keep an eye on the water level. So we did. My feedback for the property manager is to have a cover for the tub to help keep it hot when not in use. The main reason of choosing this home was to relax and have the location of the house and spa overlooking the surf and beach. We managed to use it and get it hot to enjoy. Just have some patience. There was a major delay in messaging the manager and notifying them about our first issues and no reply to them about the TVs not working. But it was fine for our kids to take a break from the TVs. I hope they fixed a few things since our stay. We are flexible but keep in mind they do not reply fast with questions.We had a nice stay and made it all work.

Loved our stay, can’t wait to return!

My husband and I went for a couple of days and it was a wonderful stay. Peaceful and relaxing. The property of Las Gaviotas is just beautiful and has so much to offer. We loved our stay and are looking so forward to going back.

Beautiful location

We stayed here for a second time as the location just can’t be beat. And the proximity to the border was awesome. The view, the weather, getting to know the neighbors were all awesome. I was very concerned that the bathrooms were not cleaned properly as the trash cans were still on the counter and the bath mats were in a ball on the counter. Used bars of soap on the ground i. The shower etc,,.

A few simple tweaks

Beautiful location but could have been so much better! This unit needs some attention, holes in sheets & bedding, oven did not work, BBQ did not work, spa jets did not work, mildew in showers and kitchen sink, utensils had old crusty food on them, manager did not respond when emailed. All of these items could so easily be remedied with good property management.

Beautiful beachfront home

The home is beautiful and views from the patio area were breathtaking. Jacuzzi was also great to enjoy at night. There was also easy beach access. Kitchen was also pretty well stocked w/ cooking supplies. Unfortunately, the WiFi was pretty slow and inconsistent. Also important to note that security doesn’t allow taxis in so be prepared to walk ~15min if you are not driving a car. Could benefit from providing hand towels. There’s also no AC so can get pretty warm inside on hot days.

Amazing location

Awesome property. The hot tub was clutch since our kids were told they couldn’t use the community hot tub. Everything was so nice and the location was right above the walkway to the main beach. Laundry on site was huge, it was awesome having a dishwasher and full functional kitchen. Only downside is the WiFi would go out every night around 7pm. Not detrimental but if you want to do work or stream shows, it goes out for whatever reason right at 7pm. Maybe too many people have the password? Lol.

Beachfront Property

Gorgeous view and home. We got many compliments on the patio and hot tub by other renters walking by. 6 minute drive to Puerto Nuevo and 30 minute drive to Rosarito beach. Overall cleanliness could've been better (dirty walls and dishes). Would've been nice to have foil in the kitchen and extra paper towels. We also couldn't get the tvs to work to watch cable or Netflix, etc. All small inconveniences. We loved the property and will definitely be back.

Even better than the pictures!

We had the best time, the home is beautiful and serene overlooking the beach which is just a short walk down. The hot tub is relaxing and the house is a perfect getaway. We felt super safe in the gated community and would stay again for sure!

Beautiful home, beautiful view

The home is on front row of homes in Gaviotas. It was chilly the evening we arrived and we loved the fireplace and wood they provided!. Spa was perfect to watch the surfers, dolphins and we even saw a whale. The home was very clean and comfortable! It has been our favorite home we have stayed at in Gaviotas. Definitely staying here again!

Pretty home for our quick getaway

Cute home for a quick getaway. We enjoyed the beach side and boardwalk close to the ocean access. It made it easy to take our toddler to the beach just down the beach access ramp/stairs. My husband could seat at the porch to watch me and the little one play in the waves. Awesome community that we’ve visited many times. Amelia was a very conscientious renter making us aware that the pool and spa were closed due to covid guidelines before renting us the unit. We were already aware of the situation since we stayed at a different unit a month prior and we weren’t made aware so our toddler was pretty bored that time. With her heads up of the situation, we were able to prepare and bring a small splash pool for him which fit perfectly in the back of the deck that we were able to empty and put away when the little one went to bed. We were very happy with our trip and Amelia’s welcoming home.

AMAZING VIEW

The property exceeded my expectations. The view from the living room is beautiful! I enjoyed the outdoor patio area and the jacuzzi was an added bonus. The property is easily accessible to the private beach area. Check-in was a breeze and Amelia was extremely accommodating and easy to contact. There is a nearby market and restaurant in the area. The community itself was well maintained and secured. Highly recommend this location.

Absolutely love this location. Our family has been going to Las Gaviotas for over 20 years! We are very fortunate to have found an oceanfront unit to purchase. We have recently remodeled it and have a second home-away-from home at Las Gaviotas as well.
