Oceanfront - 3 bed, 2 bath, living/dining room, kitchen, and two balconies. MW, DW, 2 Satellite TVs, DVD, WiFi. ONSITE POOL. NO PETS, NO SMOKING. ONE (1) SET OF BED LINENS AND TOWELS PROVIDED. BEDS: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Single Accommodates 6.


Located at the Villas by the Sea Resort, you will have access to the community pool, kids play area, volleyball court, fitness center and boardwalk to the beach behind the Rockerfeller Building. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.


Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Villas by the Sea South end crossover behind Rockefellar and Stanton buildings.


***Beach Access May Not Be Available At High Tide*** During high tide, please enjoy the oceanfront boardwalk or swimming pool.


**The community pool at the Villas by the Sea Resort will be drained and closed for repairs beginning March 24, 2026 for 2 to 3 weeks.**

Lovely view. Den living space furniture needs updating and to include better seating. Ocean access was hard. Knats were bad - special bug spray required. However the villa was nice, the pool was nice and we had a good time.

We attended the Georgia Elks Annual Meeting. Everything was fine. AC didn't work 1st night, but was promptly taken care of when contacted the next morning. Everything else was fine.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a good location in the Villas - at the end of the boardwalk, not near the restaurant - and has a great view. However, it is in need of upgrading and redecorating, and the furnishings are beat up and unattractive. We are willing to put up with the condition because of the location and the view, but we would not recommend it to a friend.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VILLA 384 Shortcomings1. The lower level bedroom bed's headboard is very lose/has a poor attachment so we had to place a pillow between it and the outer wall to stop the noise.2. One lamp in the lower level bedroom has a socket wiring problem. The light flickers so we left it unplugged due to the safety issue and left a note on it for the housekeeping staff.3. The washroom door in the lower level bedroom has a lose hinge that stops it closing properly.4. The shower curtain in both washrooms has unwelcoming mildew.5. The cookie/backing sheet was extremely dirty. We had to purchase a new one. We left a note on the old one for the housekeeping staff to discard it.6. Some of the pots and pans have a convex bottom so they can spin freely when in use. This should be considered unsafe.7.The lower balcony sliding door leaks during heavy rainfall and wind conditions. It was necessary to pace a towel its base to protect the floor. The wall paint is blistering slightly because of the water infiltration.8. This lower balcony screen door has no inner handle. You have to use the screw at the base to operate it.9. The red armchair is VERY dirty and offers zero comfort. It is ready for a garbage bin.10. The upper balcony screen door has a partially detached screen. The masking tape used as temporary repair has fallen off. Also it does not slide properly. It has to be forced to move.11. Overall the villa was fine, however some of the amenities do not match the website photos.* Photos can be provided if required

The refrigerator was not working properly and a little small for a 3 bedroom condo when you arrive with groceries for 6 adults. Other than that a well stocked condo perfect for a family getaway.

Even gave us a late check out and early check in. The property it self though was very disappointing. Very outdated, uncomfortable beds and furniture, and the place was not cleaned well at all. The shower curtains were molded, linens were wore out, and the house it self was dirty. The track for the sliding doors had some much stuff and cobwebs in them. I have pictures of all this. It's definitely stuff that had been piling up for a while not just missed on one cleaning.

Very comfortable

We had a great time. I liked the furnishings. It felt retro. There were unexpected amenities like the restaurant and shop on site. There was a beach volley ball court. The pool was large and had nice shady areas. There was a snack shop/bar at the pool as well. My only critique was that the unit could have been cleaner. There was some dust and spots that were missed while vacuuming. That being said, I would stay there again. Make sure you download a tide tracking app!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Management co was great, but the villa is in need of a refresh. The pictures online doesn't match reality/decor. Furniture is old, dirty carpets and unit is behind on regular maintenance. Water stains on roof (possibly from a leaking toilet), slow drainage from shower/bath etc.

Great weekend stay

The property was great. The beach unfortunately can't be accessed at high tide, but it's just a short trip down the road to other beach fronts. Great overall weekend.

Great location, but the rental needs updating and better cleaning

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach/walk way. It also appeared that the property was building a new walkway that was even closer to the rental. We’ve been to Jekyll many times, so we knew the area. The down side was that most of the furniture needs to be replaced. You sank down in the loveseat in the living area, so it wasn’t easy to stand up, even for the 35 year olds. The other loveseat was outdoor wicker furniture, and although sturdy, the cushions were very flat, so it was not very comfortable. The photos on VRBO do not accurately depict the current furniture set up. It also needs a good cleaning. Our son-in-law dripped some water on the floor, and when he wiped it up with a paper towel, the towel was very dirty. You could see the dirt in the corners of the kitchen floor. It was like dirty water had dried there. The shower in the lower level bathroom was completely clogged the first time it was used. We called the management company, who called the property, and maintenance was sent out very quickly. They were able to clear the clog, but we wondered how the shower was cleaned and no one noticed it would not drain. Inspite of these issues, we did enjoy our stay, and we do like the overall property. However, we will probably not rent this unit again, unless we can see that updates have been done.

Wonderful place to stay!

My (now) husband and I stayed here for our wedding at St. Andrews Beach, along with my son and a few other family members. The place was very comfortable and in a good location. We had initially planned to get married on Driftwood Beach, but thanks to Jekyll Realty- they provided us with a high and low tide schedule. We were able to scope out other locations the day before the wedding.

The beach was fun when the tide was out. The on-line photos accurately show the decor. I would have chosen a different villa if one had been available based on the outdated, uncomfortable, uncoordinated living room. The other living areas were fine. The kitchen was well stocked. We still had a very fun get-away. Love Jekyll Island!

Better than expected!

The place was great with fantastic view. The check in was no contact In and out. Condo was much nicer than pictures Indicated and has been recently renovated. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and utensils as well as cookware. Very comfortable and plenty to see and do on the Island that makes this place a perfect location. Hard to share this pearl!

Beautiful, peaceful property

This was my second time staying in the Villas By the Sea. I took my mom along this time and my girls and my aunt also went. It was a great trip. The beach is so peaceful. If you're looking to stay on the beach all day, you do have to drive as during high tide there is no access. There are so many things to do tho. Horseback riding isn't far, and you can rent bicycles right at the Villas. That's really convenient. There's also a pool so the teens loved that. Just a quiet and peaceful property that we enjoyed very much!

Reviewer Comments: Villas By The Sea Unit 384... clean except cobwebs in lamps but they said would be corrected .. furniture in living area a little warn and one loveseat a little uncomfortable but not in room that much anyway. Other than that all good .. good location and quiet .. kitchen fully stocked ...enough space .. needs a mop in case of a spill so not to bother housekeeping during Covid ...the biggest thing that could help guest is a suggestion to assign one vehicle per one space in front of each villa and all others plus golf carts go to overflow .. we had to walk every night because of golf carts snd one person with more than one vehicle.. loved our stay pool great staff awesome !

We had one of the best vacations ever and we have taken many but this one was calming and peaceful which we need from our hectic lifestyle .. The facility so comfy and close to pool and ocean .. a huge plus ..The private Dolphin tour and Driftwood Beach our highlights of our trip .. our grand loved the Pool !
