Year round lake house - plenty of room for the whole family

Come stay and leave your worries behind. The Point has everything you and your family will need. The house features 5-6 bedrooms; 3 kings, 2 queens, 1 twin bunk-bed, and 3 queen futons in total. Enjoy the newly renovated master bedroom and bath on the first floor. You will also find a brand new washer and dryer on the first floor in a private laundry room. The open kitchen and living area provides plenty of space to enjoy games, watch tv (55' smart tv), and enjoy drinks and dinner with friends and family as you look over the water. The upstairs includes a loft that serves as an additional living room to entertain as well. Watch the sunrise and sunsets from the gazebo on the point. Fish off the large platform dock. Roast marshmallows in the brick fireplace right on the lake. Walk into the water and take a swim from the gradual gradient pebble beach. Bring your own Kayaks or Boat to enjoy a day out on the lake fishing, skiing, or tubing. Cozy up inside to a warm fireplace during your fall or winter retreat. For those looking for a memorable family vacation, couples getaway, fishing trip, ski weekend, or to host an anniversary or holiday event The Point is the perfect place!

This home was so much more than we expected and we were delighted! The variety of rooms available to socialize really met our needs (ages 22 to 80), offering opportunities for football watching, game playing, puzzle construction, cooking and eating all at once. The lakeside fire pit and patio areas were fantastic!Our host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We all came away highly recommending the home.

Perfect Family Spot

The house was spotless and very well set up for a large family, with 5+ bedrooms and 3 large indoor living areas. Access to the water is backyard, and there is a nice playground for kids. The large lawn might be the largest on the lake. Tara was always there for any questions we had, and the kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommend this place..

Beautiful property! Perfect for families

My family of seven adults and four grandchildren children under 3 years old had a wonderful week here! House is very spacious with 3 large rooms to spread out including a bar/play room with lots of toys for our grandkids. The yard is huge and we had perfect weather to be outside all week. Brought a boat with no problem. House is equipped with everything you need. We will be coming back!

Overall good experiences

Overall, the experience was good. The layout of the house was perfect for our family and allowed our kids a space to play while we hung out with adults. The one downside of the house we're minor touches such as the TV in the master bedroom that did not work and lamps that were not plugged in. We enjoyed our stay.

PERFECT LAKESIDE STAY!

This property is a gem! This was the second time our family has stayed there and it was perfect once again. There is lots of room for all. Indoors as well as outdoors. The cupboards are well stocked with utinsels and cookware, as well as spices and a few baking staples. We really enjoyed being right next to the lake, and making memories around the campfire, with the gentle lapping of the water right next to us. I love your outdoor area! The boat dock was a big plus, as my family enjoys fishing and boating, so we were able to bring our boats along. To top everything off, we had a very generous and accommodating host. Thanks Tara, for making our stay enjoyable in every way! We hope to be back soon....

Great Week At The Lake

The home had so many rooms we did not need to use a couple. My bed mattress was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need and the appliances wonderful. We used the Blackstone grill for one meal. BUT the best part of our vacation with 5 adults and 4 grandchildren was the large furnished outside covered patio, large flat yard with shade and wonderful fishing/swimming right off the dock. We had one of the best vacations ever. Thank you for sharing your vaction home with us.

Short 5 day stay to visit my daughter at Rochester and do some skiing at Bristol Mountain.

My wife and 2 kids stayed at this house with another family with 2 kids. Upon arrival, we toured the home and found it to be larger than needed (A great thing!). We had many rooms unused. We loved the locations and property features. The home was perfect for a multi family get together! We had a great time being that we were rained out during the first 2 days of the stay and could not ski. We went snow tubing at Greystone Golf Course. That was a great time! Skiing at Bristol mountain was amazing even after the rain! We received fresh snow right after the rain which made for some great skiing! Overall, I would definitely stay in this home again! I also look forward to staying in this home during the summer! I want to thank the owners for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property, one of the best cottages We have ever rented as a family. So much fun, tons of fishing and swimming and tubing. Kids absolutely loved the swing set and sand box as well. Cant wait to see the finished addition for next year! The host is so accommodating and nice!

Beautiful home and location!

It was everything we were looking for in a vacation home for all of us ages 2 to 73... Plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax! Loved that you could walk into the water with the kids. We also visited sites all within an hour!. Tara was very helpful in suggesting places. We would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect weekend getaway with the girls!

Everything about this house was amazing. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need, tupperware/spices/cooking supplies/Keurig and coffee maker, and so much more! The main living area was perfect for our group to hang out and have dinner, and the yard was flat, which appeared to be a rare commodity on this lake. There is an addition going on which is just going to make this house that much more amazing! I will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely Winter Retreat on the Lake

We could not have been more pleased with our accommodations for our Annual Holiday Family Ski Trip. Tara was very responsive and provided just about everything you would need for an extremely comfortable week long stay. Two families, for a party of twelve with 7 kids ranging from 8 to 24 had a blast. Upon arrival the games began with the oversized Connect Four challenges and our gang had fun right up to the departure time with a final round. We were centrally located to a market, deli and a 20 minute drive to Bristol Mountain. Tara touched base throughout the week to check in on us to see if we needed anything. The personal touches go a long way. We would love to find time to have the opportunity to spend time at the lake in the near future.

perfect lake house vacation

this house was fantastic. it was everything we needed and more. perfect setting on the lake which had incredible fishing off the dock (a lot of bass). huge yard for yard games and the kids to run around along with a jungle gym. nice fire pit by the water. house was fully loaded with everything we needed and there was plenty of room for the 14 people we had in there. would definitely rent again!

Family Retreat

We just enjoyed a beautiful 9-day stay at this fabulous property. The view of Honeoyle Lake from the property was breathtaking!. We were able to dock our son's boat at the property so we could fully enjoy the lake. The beds were some of the most comfortable ever! The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for our party of 8. Everyone very much wants to plan a return trip!

Great lake view!

We had a very nice stay at this spacious (inside and out!) well stocked property. The owner was very patient and helpful. The new master bathroom is gorgeous. The lake and area were quiet in early September. Sunrises over the hills above the lake were lovely even on chilly mornings. I bet in fall it is breathtaking.

Great Week

The property has many things going for it. Lakefront with small beach allowed for lots of swimming. We rented kayaks locally. Caught some fish off the dock, and enjoyed the large yard. Plenty of outdoor seating options, great outdoor Blackstone Griddle, and comfy hammock. Home has a nice open plan and kitchen was really well-stocked. Beds were comfortable. A half-day power boat rental allowed water skiing and tubing, and road trips included Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park, and Watkins Glen. A terrific vacation spot.

A great first trip to the Finger Lakes!

Tara helped to made our first trip to the Finger Lakes a great experience! From the property, amenities, and area activities, there was always something to do for adults and kids. Tara provided almost everything you could think of for a week away. Peaceful mornings in the gazebo were an unexpected bonus. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Everything and more!

What an amazing weekend! The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculate! The bedrooms were spacious and perfect for my large family. The bedroom off the first floor laundry is somewhat secluded/private which created a perfect location to put my grandson down for a nap. The open concept is very spacious and perfect to cook in the kitchen, host a game at the large table, watch a movie or play a video game....while all in the same space. It was perfect for my family! The dock was new and very sturdy. We were told by many fisherman that is fishing right off our dock was a bass hot-spot! The kids were thrilled. The lake front fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table and gazebo offered something for everyone! The yard was so large we were able to play volleyball, badmiton, corn hole, Kan-jam and threw around a football all at the same time! I highly recommend visiting this beautiful home on Pickerel Point! We cannot wait to come back, Tara! Thank you for being an amazing host! THomberger

We had our eye on this beautiful property for years because of its location and beauty. With several grown children of our own we knew we needed a place large enough for not only ourselves but for our kids and their families to enjoy in the future. We were fortunate to purchase this house in the summer of 2014 and have spent the last few months remodeling and furnishing it for all to enjoy!
