Cottage Vacation Rental is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath sleeps 4. Pismo Beach, Pier, Shops and Restaurants are just two and a half blocks away. Kitchen includes cookware, utensils, microwave, stove and refrigerator. Flat screen TV, DVD player basic cable, Wi-Fi. Breakfast bar with two stools. The primary bedroom has a Queen Size Bed. Second Bedroom has 2 Twin Size Beds. Shared Charcoal BBQ and Laundry Facilities. Street Parking Only. Porch in front allows enjoyment of crisp ocean air.

Great, cozy small house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is small, 2 bedrooms &1 bathroom, but is well stocked w/ everything we needed to stay comfortable. We didn’t cook meals, it made a lot of snack stuff. It is close enough to everywhere we wanted to go that we could walk! The house can sleep 4 comfortably in the 2 bedrooms. There is no off street parking, though if you wait till after 7-8:00 you can get a spot close by. Overall it was a great house for a good price!

The picture needs to be 's more run down.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, but the picture needs to be more does not look like that from the outside.Paint is peeling, and it looks run down. The linens on the betting we're all dingy, same with the towels in the restroom. And on a busy weekend, good luck finding parking. There is no parking on the property.

Unfortunately, we unpacked our stuff into the house then turned right back around and left to get a hotel room. I have little ones that like to look out the window, unfortunately every window seal was matted with thick dust or black mold(?). There were spider webs surrounding front door with spiders, those could have been knocked down, it smelt like sewage. The house is tucked behind a whole bunch of other houses (not a big deal), exterior house needs to be pressure washed (again not a big deal) but overall the house inside and out is just dirty….

Great stay. Good location behind newer building so somewhat secluded for downtown. 3 min walk to beach/surfing/tons of food. Great access to the freeway north and south.

Perfect location and easy walking distance to the beach and dining. The outside was a little more rundown than expected but the inside looked just like the pictures.We did notice that the twin beds in one room did not seem freshly changed because there was quite a bit of sand in both beds. Management was responsive when I let them know and offered to send someone out to clean.There is also a portable AC unit, but the fuse will trip if you use it.The only other thing worth noting is that a neighbor asked us not to make noise during the day because they work at night and sleep during the day. It was not an issue for us since we were out every day, but it could matter for families planning to spend more daytime at the house.Overall, great trip and great value. We would visit again!

Quick vacation getaway

Overall it was good. Although there were some spider webs in the cottage. Great location!! Living room TV didn't work and the queen size bed was way too wobbly and noisy

I'm sorry about those issues. I've spoken to housekeeping and I am approaching the owner about the bed . I thought the TV was a quick and easy fix!

Great location | terrible bed

The location is perfect. The place was clean. The master bed was terrible. The mattress was uncomfortable and it made loud creaking noises every time one of us moved.

Nice location but not a nice place.

The place was clean as far as bedding and kitchen but very unkept on the exterior. The outside was full of cobwebs and chipping paint. There also were holes in the walls near the couch.

The first impression of the exterior was a bit surprising, very worn needs a good paint job, could update the TV’s and replace the worn out chair in the family room , great location , cute tiny home

Beware!!! Be clear what you are renting!

The only redeeming qualities of this property are its location within Pismo and the fact it has a functional bathroom. Things you MUST be aware of: 1 – There is no parking, despite it being listed on the amenities. There is only street parking and anyone who knows anything about Pismo knows how street parking can be. 2 – There are no laundry facilities, despite it being listed on the amenities. This is just out-and-out false advertising as there are no directions provided as to how to get to the laundry, if even one exists. 3 – There is NO room within the house to congregate as a group. This place is SMALL with limited space. 4 – The “Master Bedroom” has a queen bed that is horribly noisy and can only be accessed on one side, be ready to crawl over your bed mate. 5 – There is a heater but no thermostat, so the heater just comes on randomly and smells like it does not burn all the gas as there is a strong smell of gas coming from the unit. 6 – The place is OLD and marginally kept up, you will NOT feel comfortable. To be completely honest, there are MUCH better places to stay within Pismo that provide much more in terms of comfort and amenities than this place. I would not stay here again if they offered the place for free. Closing on a positive note, the property management personnel were great.

We thank the guest for staying, and for their kind words about our office staff. It's always our goal to ensure every guest receives the utmost care and attention. For guests considering booking this property in the future though, we would like to address the critques outlined here. We are open and available 7 days a week 9am to 5pm and we have after-hours critical issue line that guests can call for assistance 24/7/365. We don't believe this guest took advantage of our services. 1. The listing very clearly states "Street Parking Only" 2. The Shared Laundry room's location and how to access it are outlined on an information sheet in the property that also indicates the WiFi login info and other important information. 3. We provide 26 photos of the interior of the property that shows all the space available to guests, if you choose to stay here. 4. In those 26 photos there are 6 photos of the queen bedroom and 4 of those photos show the bed is placed against one wall. 5. Also indicated on the information sheet is how to operate the heat, which is on the appliance itself. We have sent maintenance to assess the gas smell with a detector and nothing unsafe was found even while running at full blast, but we will continue to closely monitor it. 6. This property does not purport itself to be the best place to stay but is very reasonably priced for a private cottage just 1.5 blocks off the beach in the very center of Downtown Pismo. We have many families that adore this cottage and it's twin neighbor, returning year after year, and we're very sorry it was a bad fit for this guest. We are always more than happy to help prospective guests find a property that has what they want and need.

Beach cottage in a beach town

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage reminded me of beach vacations from long ago. It was modest but completely adequate for 3 adults. The location is good, a short walk from the beach and many restaurants and the Monarch butterfly grove.The wi-fi service was good but remember to bring a fire stick or equivalent. The TVs are not set up for streaming.

We thank the guest for staying with us and we hope to have them back again! We've made the suggestion to the property owner to add a Roku or smart TV to the unit. If they choose to do so, the listing will be updated to reflect that in both the description and amenities. :)
