Handmade Adirondack furniture makes this home cozy and inviting. Sleeps 10 comfortably with all the amenities of home. Wood burning stove and a game room are great extras when you are relaxing at home. Close to Lake George and Lake Placid. A perfect getaway for the week or weekend.

Its a nice cottage

Unfortunately the place was dirty. The owner did not have cleaning supplies, like dishwasher detergent and garbage bags. Only the ones in the bins.

Good place to crash

This cozy place met all the standards of a quaint ski chateau. Quiet little road about 15-20 from Gore, it gave us an excellent place to relax and sleep after a day on the mountain. Would stay again.

Ski Rental in January

Upside: Mark was great for check in/out. Charming, cozy, great location, great feel, clean. Downside: heat an issue with seasonal Jan weather (20 deg F), basement (listed for sleeps 2) was freezing and unusable space, master cold as well. Using wood stove a must. Also, very strong mothball smell, bothered some more than others. We had 8, in our party and tight, 6 would work well.

Mark was great and very easy to work with. Enjoyed the house and the beautiful view out the back. Will definitely come back!

Great place to stay near Gore Mtn

We stayed 4 nights to ski at Gore Mtn, good location about 6 miles from mountain. Very nice, clean, comfortable house. Plenty of room for two families. The kids liked the game room downstairs . Overall a great place to stay.

christmas in the cabin

real nice place arcade games did not work replacing them with a pool table would be great i did not bring some basic thing like salt and pepper napkins because it said basic pantry item i brought a 20pound prime rib and had no salt but it was still good being with my family was so much fun tere was 6 of us and we had room to roam THANK YOU

Great for Families! Better than pictures!

This house is really well designed for cooking, socializing and relaxing. The structure of the house makes the upstairs warm and cozy on cold nights. We had a great ski weekend with this lovely house as our home base!

It is the perfect home for your get away from home.

This house was perfect. It is very clear to me on how much the owner, Mark takes pride in his house. The house is well maintained, clean and had all of the amenities you may need to make your stay that much more comfortable. The house is in the heart of the NY Adirondack Mountains. Very close to Gore skiing, Hiking and Lakes. I hope you will enjoy this house as much as me and my Nephews did. Thank You to Mark and his family for allowing me to create many more amazing memories. Great space

Lots of room for family of four with two teen boys. Kitchen has all the utensils & tools. Gore Mt. very close & easy to get to. Only one shower up stairs but very nice. Good water pressure nice & hot! Beds comfy. Quite forest surrounding. Might go back for summer fun.

Charming house and close to Mountain

We had a great time staying in this charming cottage. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the game room in the basement and we had a fun weekend skiing and relaxing. It was a short drive to the mountain and easy to get to. We hope to visit again!

Amazing Place

This was hands down the nicest accommodations we had during our stay in the Adirondacks. Rustic charm with modern amenities. Really amazing custom woodwork throughout this property. Close to amenities and sight. Fantastic!

Adirondack Mountain Memories

When I was a child my family vacationed in The Adirondack Mountains. I had the opportunity to stay at The Chalet which revived those memories once again. From the back porch you can hear the tress rustle and see wildlife in the beauty of the woods. Open windows let the fresh air and sunshine in that adds to the ambiance of the home. The furnishings and decor compliment the architect, from the wood stove in the family area, the beautiful bedrooms, turnkey kitchen and of course the game room. Thank you for a wonderful stay and new memories!

Charming and Unique Vacation Home

Tucked in the Adirondacks, this home was delightful and relaxing. The owner was attentive to details ensuring all the comforts were provided. The layout is perfect for families with a game room on the bottom floor that has a large tv. The sunny porch overlooks the woods and is beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful Ski Weekend

Very cool house. Unique handmade furniture and construction made for a great and memorable weekend for our family. Just about 5 miles to Gore Mountain. Comfortable rooms and furniture. Good common space and bedrooms. We will come back.

Great Space - Great Location - Great Architecture

I loved the way this space is set up. It has plenty of space with a great feel when you relax in the custom made furniture. The stove is set perfectly and the sun fills the back deck area.

Awesome Place with Incredible Character!

We headed up to the Adirondacks to see the leaves. This place was great. Cute and cozy. A lot of the furniture was hand made as well as some of the artwork. Cool game-room/family room on lower level complete with large flat screen TV, arcade games, jukebox and foosball! Peaceful and quiet. We will be back for skiing as it is very close to Gore Mountain!

Warmth, Charm and Character

This place is a Gem! I was amazed at the construction and decor. Old world charm mixed with inspired one-of-a-kind furniture and hand carved cabinetry. Owner was great to work with. No TV but that was disclosed up front.
