Cozy Spot

The apartment was comfortable, central and well equipped. The outdoor space which in central Paris is rare was lovely. Comfortable bed in a quiet location. Appreciated the multiple elevators.

Wonderful Stay

The apartment was perfect from the location to the rooftop patio. The owner and property manager were both extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Paris!

Convenient and Cozy

This cozy 1 bedroom apartment was perfect for the week my wife and I just spent in Paris. Very convenient to the metro and a short walk from many of the sights. We’ll stay again in our next trip.

Great apartment

Nice and spacious with excellent balcony and view of Paris. Slight hiccup with AC but then was quickly fixed. Owner was kind enough to leave a bottle of champagne upon arrival. Would highly recommend!

This pad was centrally located, well organized and had everything we needed. Easy to walk and two nearby subway stations. Delicious restaurant at the corner.

Outstanding terrace in Paris

Lovely apartment in center of Paris. Close to the Seine and incredible sights. Very nice building. Lovely, well equipped apartment, with a stunning terrace and view.

Very good location, cosy place

Nice little 2 room apartment, fully equipped, bedroom a bit small but ok. Warm welcome, very helpful housekeeping lady. Wonderful, spacious terasse with nice view. Perfect location near Bastille (Metro, Gare du Lyon etc., good restaurants quite close as well as Supermarkets.), perfect communication with the owner. Had a nice time and will certainly come back one day.

Wonderful stay in Paris

Denis was very communicative and answered all my questions before our visit. He also checked in to make sure the trip was going well. The neighborhood is very convenient to everything although the 7 minute walk from the metro Sully Morland was dark and not well lit.

Great Place to Stay

The apartment was very comfortable. The housekeeper met us in the lobby when we arrived and was there to see us off when we departed. The location is very convenient. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Two metro stops on main lines very close. A good grocery store nearby. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. All in all, a great experience.

Ideal Choice

4.44 We loved the terrace, the location, the charming decor. Checking in was simple as we were met at the door. Metro, markets and restaurants are nearby. Denis answered our questions promptly which we very much appreciated. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again. We especially enjoyed the view and our walks around this very lovely area. Thank you for a memorable stay in Paris.

Great Place to Stay in Paris

We spent a week at Denis’s apartment. It is in a perfect location for using the Paris metro as well as being very walkable along the Seine to the heart of Paris.The outdoor terrace is great. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take a wine and cheese break before heading out in the evening. The are plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants within walking distance. Of note, if you walk toward the Seine, one block, there is a great patisserie/boulangerie on the right. Across the street a bar/tabac spot for a nice first coffee in the morning.Denis and Mme Guillot were perfect hosts and very accommodating. A nice bottle of champagne was a great welcome gift.We loved our stay at the apartment and would not hesitate to return.

We loved our stay in Paris and communicating with this owner was a dream. Very responsive, helpful and clear. The property manager greeted us at the door upon our arrival which was just wonderful. The location could not be better - walking distance to wonderful cafes, restaurants, etc. And close to the Seine ... so we could walk along the waterfront and could see it from our apartment. The only thing that wasn't great about the apartment: the bedroom is small and to get up to go to the bathroom required crawling over my husband. That said, I recommend this apartment without reservation.

Fantastic Terrace

We were sad to leave this perfect sixth floor apartment with a huge rose filled terrace, terrific views, perfect location, with two elevators making our stay extra easy. The week went by all too quickly.

Magical Parisian Nest

From beginning to end, this apartment was a beautiful dream. You’re high up with lovely views and the whimsical (huge) terrace. It’s the perfect size for a couple or small family as you can still find your own space if needed. Denis is the perfect host, gracious, accommodating and responsive. The area is beautiful next to canal St. Martin with myriad fun shops and stores to explore. Easy access to metro and bikes! We loved our week long stay!! It’s the perfect home away from home 🏡❣️

Paris in May

Perfect in every way! This property has everything you need including a beautiful terrace to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine after touring. Denis Auclair and Madame Gaillet were gracious hosts and responsive to our requests. The property is close to the Metro, grocery stores, restaurants and La Cite, the heart of Paris. Merci beaucoup for a wonderful stay during our first trip to Paris.

Excellent location, great views from the outside seating area, perfect for a couple / + 1 child

Nice place, close to Metro Bastille station or Sully-Morland , ~ 5 minute walk. Great park just outside for a picnic lunch / dinner at Port du l'Arsenal. Market close by just cross the foot bridge down Rue Jules Cesar, then right on Rue de Lyon. Only improvement I would suggest for Dennis is to have more information printed up in a welcome book on close local finds near the flat. Some information on the close by shopping and restaurant reviews give a feel of being provided a "best of" the local area.

Paris Graduation Vacation

My granddaughter, her mother and I booked this apartment for our Paris visit to celebrate my granddaughter's high school graduation. The suite was as listed on VRBO, in a very good location with good access to metro and train. We also walked to Notre Dame, the Pantheon and through the Left Bank area without use of the metro. We enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood and dining in the restaurants. The fold out bed in the living room was comfortable and easy to set up and put away every day. We enjoyed the outside patio very much though it was rainy and cool during our stay. Thank you, Denis, for your welcome gifts and your excellent communication while we were booking the suite. We would happily recommend your suite to any visitors to Paris.

Nice stay

The terrace is awesome. Location is great.Apartment and building feel very secure. The apartment itself is OK, not out of ordinary for Paris. Lack of counter space would make any real cooking challenging. Also little in the way of places to put your stuff; most closets are locked/inaccessible. There are a few booby traps like a shelf in the bathroom that falls off easily and two handed process to close the bathroom door due to towel rack. Also there was construction next door when we were there with associated noise and dust, But for us these were minor issues and we enjoyed it quite a lot.

So much sunlight, and the views!

So far this is our favorite stay in Paris. The location was a bit more out of the way than we are used to, but the flat and general location ended up being really great for us. Metro is about 5-6 blocks away, grocery store and restaurants about a five minute walk. I just loved all of the sunlight streaming into the place, and the deck is wonderful to have, even if the weather isn't great for using it. Staying near the canal offered great walks in the evenings. The sleeping situation is a bit creative and required some tumbles to get in and out of the bed if you are sleeping with someone and not on the door side, so I got a bit tired of that after a week. TV was older and the kitchen is compact but typical for the area. Check in was pleasant and easy and the flat had everything we needed for eating easy meals in and bringing in groceries for our stay.

Amazing flat in a great location

Staying at Denis' place worked out great for us. We stayed for five weeks. The location was perfect. We were close enough to walk to two Metro stations, the grocery store, the Bastille market, the Seine and the small and large islands. Yet- far enough away from the touristy areas that we didn't get caught up in the crowds. The terrace was a huge benefit even though the weather did not allow us to sit out there a lot. It was beautiful to look at and it was great to open the doors for fresh air. We appreciated all the nice appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, and espresso machine. The fold out couch was very comfortable. The flat was decorated nicely and was definitely lived in - which made it homey and comfortable. Mme Gaillet was standing at the front door when we arrived and was always very friendly and helpful.

Reasonably priced

I think I was drawn to this property by the price point and the outside space. If we had visited it before booking, we might have stayed elsewhere. Denis and Mme. Gaillet were good hosts. The location was ok, and we enjoyed our walks out, but the immediate neighborhood has very limited attraction. The outside deck was massive, easily twice the size of the apartment itself. Closet space is extremely limited, with the only place to hang clothes being the broom closet, so we lived out of our suitcases for the week. The apartment is in need of a deep clean. The bedroom was a challenge, with almost no room to stand up and only one side of the bed accessible meaning that one person has to literally crawl in and out of bed (over the other, at times). The apartment is full of personal effects and is very lived-in. If you can deal with all of this, and you are looking for a reasonably priced apartment, this could be the one for you.
