Wake up to the gentle trade wind breezes of this hilltop estate. From the moment you pass through the gates of Paraíso, with its lush and expansive tropical gardens, you will be bathed in tranquility. Surprisingly, it is but a short walk to Isabel II with its restaurants, galleries, and shops. You will never tire of the vistas of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, or the sounds of the rolling seas. This new architecturally acclaimed three level home offers amenities of a Caribbean resort. Four private entrance bedroom suites, each with an ensuite bathroom surround the gorgeous heated swimming pool. There are two whirlpool jet tubs to assure complete and restful comfort. The first of two second level gathering areas boasts a chef’s kitchen with attached summer kitchen, dining space for small or large gatherings, and festive outdoor seating and dining areas that face the sunrise and the sunset. The second gathering area includes plush indoor and outdoor living spaces with a state of the art media center and two private offices. The third level needs nothing more than you as you relax to the panoramic views that words cannot describe.

The house is beautiful, and both Katie and the owner were very kind and thoughtful. Unfortunately, the oven didn’t work during our stay, and some interactions with Susan were uncomfortable due to comments about Puerto Rico and communication that affected our overall experience in Vieques. It’s a lovely property, and I’m sharing this so future guests can be aware.

Staying at the Paraiso Estate Home was nothing short of an incredible experience. They go beyond everything you would expect from a rental property from beginning to end. Bill, the owner, has created a paradise that sits on top of a hill with spectacular views at every angle. The best photos will still understate how amazing the Paraiso Estate is. Our hosts Susan, Katie and Laura were truly stars. You could tell they take pride in the property and being great hosts to their guests. We arrived by ferry and they arranged to pick us up and bring us to the property. Katie came back the next day and took us to our rental car facility. At the end of our stay, Susan arranged for Laura to pick us up and take us to the ferry. This saved us a great deal of money on taxi fares. The property has everything you need. If it doesn't, they are willing to find it and bring it to you. We were traveling with a chef to the stars and he was quite impressed with the kitchen setup. I am overwhelmed just thinking about what to write about in this review. There are just so many positives! I mean, this place has two commercial grade ice makers. We also felt very safe and secure in the event of a storm. No need to bring bluetooth speakers. The house is equipped Sonos connected speakers. There were so many options inside and outside the house if you want privacy. The views from the rooftop were stunning. We watched the sunrise, sunset and moonrise every day. We can't wait to return to Paraiso Estate!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Paraiso!! Susan and Katie were amazing hosts and the house had everything and more that we needed! The sunset from the rooftop was spectacular, bedrooms all set out around the pool were perfect for our family of 5, kitchen had everything we could need and great proximity to Isabel II for supplies and restaurants. The comprehensive guide to Vieques provided so much great information and we did things we have never tried before. Scuba diving with Laura at 18 Degrees was fabulous and ATV buggy adventures with Richard so much fun! Thank-you and we will be back!

June 2025 my family of 5 stayed at Paraiso for 9 days. The house is absolutely fantastic. All the furniture and bedding were really comfortable and no small detail was overlooked. The amenities were well appointed and met every need and want we had. The location was perfect…with markets, restaurants all close by. Susan was great to work with and the communication was quick and efficient.We would 100% stay again and recommend to all of our friends and family.

Reynolds Family vacation

We couldn't get over how gorgeous the property and amenities were. The location was fantastic, and as the parents of 3 grown children all of whom have partners, the fact that every bedroom had it's own bathroom/ outside sitting area and were all the same size made it Nirvana for us! House manager and staff were incredibly helpful with all of our questions and requests for recommendations. - Cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic Home & Experience

Paraiso Vieques is a true vacation dream home. Let me start by saying that Susan (the property manager) is absolutely fantastic and second-to-none. Not only did she welcome us and provide a home tour, but she was always on hand for recommendations and even provided Nespresso pod refills mid-stay! She offers a great restaurant guide upon booking as well. The house itself is very well designed for groups. Each suite is identical but separated with individually locked doors, and completely noise-proof. The kitchen is fully stocked (including a wonderful outdoor grill and outdoor dining patio), the entertainment/office space is wonderful, and the roof view is epic for sunset. Truly, one of my most favorite home rentals ever. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property

This was a wonderful house in Isabel Secunda. The breeze and view of the house was spectacular. I have stayed in the island yearly for 16 years and this was the best kitchen and pool we have ever had. Being close to the city center we walked to dinner at the local restaurants. The rooms cooled off well and the beds are very comfortable. I would definitely consider this property again. All checking and out processes were seamless and engaging. We were want for nothing and spent an entire day just lounging at the house after 3 days at the beach. The house had great beach gear. One thing to know is that this is a house convenient to the town though you will note the local wildlife (morning roosters call early). Overall a great house stay.

Paraiso lives up to its name!

My family and I stayed here during the week leading up to Christmas. We had a group of six and everyone had ample space and everything we could possibly need. The layout of this home is perfect! We loved that all the spaces could be opened up to the breeze. The views are magnificent from every side of the home. We loved the house so much we set aside a day just to hang out there! The location was very convenient for walking to dinner and for small grocery trips. The island had such a festive atmosphere with nightly parades, lots of music and Christmas lights. The property manager, Susan, was fantastic to work with. She touched base with us before arrival and made sure that the process of getting to the home and our departure ran smoothly. She also was a great resource for things to do on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing experience!

This property is even better than the pictures! There are incredible views from every area of the house, an amazing heated pool and the location is just minutes to great restaurants, stores, etc. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the extras like great bath towels, robes and toiletries were truly appreciated. Making our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free was Susan, the property manager. She provided a wealth of information and recommendations that we used before and during our trip and went above and beyond to make certain we had an amazing experience while we were there. When all the flights off the island were cancelled on our departure day, she was a lifesaver with advice on getting to and making the most of our delay in San Juan. Susan made our great stay a truly memorable one.

Vieques paradise

Our vacation to San Juan and Vieques is definitely in my top three favorites. Vacation to me is all about food and we were never disappointed. Every restaurant we went to had outstanding service, friendly staff that would bend over backwards for their customers. Susan, our host, was great and very helpful. She picked our group of eight up at the ferry and brought us to our home for the week. She was in contact with us throughout our stay but very rarely did we need to bother her. Our first few days brought rain unheard of for February. The owner of the property felt bad and offered to let us stay a few more days Free Of Charge! Unbelievably gracious! I definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Vieques. You can’t beat the view and sunsets ;)

Vieques is Amazing

Great time had by all. Beverly Davenport catered two delicious dinners. The Eco bioluminescence tour is a must and the horseback riding was amazing. Susan provided a very comprehensive list of service providers and activities. The beaches are spectacular.

Perfect Villa in Isabel for Friends/Family

Paraiso was a perfect choice for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids). Each bedroom has its own bathroom/shower and two bedrooms are connected via a shared bathtub. The connected bedrooms were perfect for us with youngish kids as the kids were easily able to wake up mom/dad in the morning and not disturb the other family. Susan, the property manager, was extremely helpful from coordinating our arrival/departure to providing a laundry list of amazing suggestions for beaches/restaurants all over the island. In addition, Susan was willing to pick up a handful of USPS packages for us that we sent in advance to help reduce the weight of luggage. The house had everything we needed: grill, coffee, grinder, beach chairs , umbrellas, towels, coolers, two ice makers, smart tv, AC in the bedrooms, comfortable beds and linens. Location was walkable to stores and about 18 minute drive to Esperanza and all the great beaches. The house sits up on hill with constant breezes so we were never hot, and no flying insects. I would suggest bringing earplugs if you want to sleep in because the roosters are plentiful and definitely not shy! This is one of the few rental homes with total solar power and a heated pool. I'd highly recommend this amazing property and property manager!

Fabulous Villa

Paraiso was a great choice for our group of 4 women. each bedroom has its own bath so very private. Susan, the property manager was a delight and very helpful. The house had everything we needed: coffee, grinder, beach chairs , umbrellas, towels, coolers, two ice makers, smart tv, AC in the bedrooms, comfortable beds and linens. Location was walkable to stores and about 18 minute drive to Esperanza and all the great beaches. The house sits up on hill with constant breezes so we were never hot, and no flying insects. I bring earplugs when I go to Vieques because of the loud roosters and I sure needed them. This is one of the few rental homes with total solar power and a heated pool. I'd highly recommend this great house.

Gorgeous Home in Isabel 11

The house is as lovely as it looks on-line- plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the many views of Vieques and beyond. The bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms luxurious. The common areas are inviting and comfortable, all with lovely views! Susan leaves a well stocked kitchen and is as helpful as anyone could be- both before and during travel. We were 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids and we loved our stay!

Incredible experience

This stunning home has breathtaking views from every angle. We appreciated the downstairs refrigerator, 2 ice makers , outdoor kitchen and dining area, outdoor showers in all bedrooms, comfortable outdoor furniture, well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, beach gear, electronic gate, sanitizing water system, short walk to town, yet quiet, solar powered home! All of these amenities and many more made our annual Vieques trip delightful. Sharon lives across the street and is very helpful. This was by far the best house, in many ways, that we have stayed in on Vieques!

Great stay!

House was wonderful and plenty of room for the 8 of us. Nice pool and all of the amenities we needed. Great view from the decks and rooftop and short walk to town. Susan was a great asset for transportation and information. Highly recommend!

Impeccable

The most impressive house we've ever rented. It is impeccably maintained and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. I mean everything. The heated salt water pool is divine, really such a treat. Susan, the house manager, was incredibly helpful but not intrusive. She went completely above and beyond to make sure a computer that was left behind was on a flight and returned to us within hours of our departure! Such a life saver. I can't rate this house and Susan highly enough!
