The only thing is parking for this house. It was hard with so many vehicles, but we worked it out. I think if we knew how many cars can park there and where your other parking lot was before we got there would have been good.Thank you.

Frustrated

Upon arrival, the ceiling in the master bathroom was leaking. They sent someone right away to fix it. That was nice. The AC in the basement never got below 75, despite asking both maintenance the HVAC tech to check it. At around 10:00 PM the first night the plumbing downstairs started overflowing into the floor the tubs in each bathroom. Being a health and safety issue we had to vacate at midnight. They could not accommodate us in a single cabin so our group had to split up into two cabins. This was our only option for the remainder of our stay. The point of getting a large cabin was for team bonding on our weeklong trip. I had to find other accommodations that could accommodate our group. The GM was great to work with and everyone was very apologetic. We are in the process of receiving a partial refund. I just caution anyone looking into renting this cabin or any at the resort. They are very old and in desperate need of major repairs.

Nice enough place with a lot of beds

The property was clean. It’s a bit dated, but for the price it was nice. We rented this for family for sons 18th birthday weekend. There were a couple of bunk beds in basement that had rails that needed repair, we had several extra beds so no issue. I did not like that the master bathroom wasn’t a private bath. It was the only bath for the upstairs room with bunk beds to use as well as people in general living area. As for the parking, we knew going in it would be a challenge. We did manage to squeeze all 5 vehicles in, very tightly. We had two trucks, two cars and minivan. Overall I’d stay here again. The location is perfect with backroads taking you to either end of the strip, as well as the new road taking you right to the middle of the strip. Maintenance man was very friendly and courteous.

Perfect Space for Large Group

Our cabin was perfect for our ladies conference. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. Even the bunk beds were extra comfy. Very good price. Cabin was very well suited for our Christian group. Lots of Scripture decorating the walls.

Disappointing Experience with Late Check-in and Incompetent Management

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) My recent stay at Chalet was ruined by a terribly handled late check-in process. The management failed to provide the access code in time, leaving me stranded outside the chalet. I spent over two hours on the phone, desperately seeking assistance. It was a frustrating and unprofessional experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. The check-in process at Chalet needs urgent correction to prevent other guests from enduring such a disappointing ordeal. I cannot recommend this chalet due to its poor management and lack of guest care.

Property Needs Repairs/Updates

No problems with the layout or location of the property. However, there is a huge list of problems that need to be fixed. 1. Roaches in the kitchen 2. Side porch light switch has a short in it 3. Blind broke in window at kitchen table 4. Bathroom in bedroom #1-floor next to tub/shower is about to fall in; very soft; water coming from under the wall next to the toilet possibly from bathroom in hallway 5. Ceiling in bathroom in hallway has HUGE wet spot next to the shower and the light switch has a short in it 6. Light switches and plug ins have shorts in them. Some of the plug ins were shooting sparks out. 7. The upstairs A/C unit froze up the first night we got there. 8. The bathroom in the bedroom downstairs didn’t have a shower curtain or rod. They were later found in the closet, but it didn’t have any rings to put the shower curtain on. (This was fixed the next day) We have stayed here before (July 2022), and some of the same problems were there last year. The whole house needs an update. It’s a great house for youth groups to stay in because the set up is perfect. I really would like to see these things fixed before we stay there again. The air was fixed the next day, and they also fixed a clogged sink while they were there.
