Impressive 3 story, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom boasts stunning views from across the 2,900 sq ft air conditioned home just outside of Ruidoso, NM. Over 3 acres of mountainous property provide privacy and ample space for hiking, biking and walking. Electric Vehicle charging station is provided. Enjoy breathtaking scenes from the large hardwood deck and private master bedroom patio. Stone fire pit and recreation area with comfortable seats, oversized outdoor Jenga blocks, footballs, frisbees and games provide hours of relaxation under the tall pines with a backdrop of the Sierra Blanca mountains and Ski Apache. Inside there is immaculate attention to detail with hickory wood floors, vaulted alder ceilings, framed windows, granite counters, custom cabinets and inspiring massive view windows. A large loft on the 3rd floor and an extra den in the lower level provide abundant space for large families with children or a friends & family mountain getaway. Two large 55 inch LED flat screens with premium satellite channels, DVD players and wifi internet access provide indoor entertainment. Poker chips, cards, puzzles, Lincoln Logs, frisbees & footballs. A moderately steep, very long and winding driveway provide endless smiles in the snow using the provided saucers and sleighs. A Weber stainless steel propane grill on the main deck is ready to use while absorbing the superior sights. Once you arrive, you will find little reason to leave this mountain retreat. Located in Alto, NM, this deluxe paradise is 20 minutes from downtown Ruidoso and 10 minutes from either ski apache or the spencer theatre.

The home was very clean. Everything was as listed for the home. Donald, the homeowner was very helpful and only a call/text away. He checked in daily with me to make sure all was good. He even sent me the weather updates as a snowstorm was to be coming in. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful/clean home to stay in.

I donā€™t even know where to begin! We decided to rent Donaldā€™s wonderful cabin for 5 days to celebrate Christmas in the mountains. The experience was beyond excellent. He was extremely attentive and checked in frequently to make sure our stay was comfortable and saw to it that we had everything we needed. His beautiful property is fully equipped with everything you can possibly need. We were able to cook great meals, use the fireplace and fire pit with more than enough firewood availabe, and slept comfortably on the cushy beds with plenty of linens and pillows. Everything was clean and well organized. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toilet tissue and laundry room was stocked as well. We didnā€™t run out of anything! The mountain views from all balconies were gorgeous. We took so many pictures and now we have some great memories. He offered suggestions on some holiday venues in Ruidoso. Just overall a great host and great stay. We would definitely come back.

Gorgeous CLEAN cabin with breathtaking views!

Donaldā€™s cabin is in a gorgeous location that offers privacy and a little seclusion. Incredibly clean and well stocked cabin and the fantastic beds will make it hard to get yourself out and about because they are so comfortable. Views are amazing and the outdoor sitting area is stocked for roasting smores and enjoying each others company. This place is so amazing that the hardest part was going off to enjoy the sights and activities of Ruidoso because this cabin will make you want to stay in!

The Host is an amazing person. Very caring and helpful with anything you need. This beautiful house was so cozy & extremely clean! We had 4 kids and 6 adults. Very spacious, gorgeous views! Nice deck with a big table. All the beds are comfy. Everyone slept so good! Kitchen has all you need. All the bathrooms are a nice size.Outdoor area with fire pit is really cool & the swings. Lots of deer, so that was cool for the kids.You won't be disappointed!!

Beautiful getaway for the New Year

The home is beautiful and was a great family getaway. The views are fantastic, the neighborhood is quiet, and the home is not too far from downtown Ruiodoso. The owner always kept in touch to make sure our stay was perfect and even sent weather updates when a snow storm was coming. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent place to stay

This is a terrific place - everything is exactly as advertised and the pictures don't do it justice. The view is spectacular and the sunsets were amazing. The cabin itself is very nice and clean. Lots of room for everyone. Donald was was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property.

Great Christmas In New Mexico

Enjoyed a very nice Christmas in New Mexico! The house was wonderful in a gorgeous setting and there was plenty of room for all 9 adults in our family plus our 10 month old granddaughter celebrating her first Christmas! Mr. Munoz was a fantastic host who checked on us periodically to be sure that everything went well on our stay! Would definitely go back!

Great views and location

The cabin is well located on the outskirts of Ruidoso. Its an easy drive to recreational areas of Ski Apache and the nearby snow tubing place.Pros - The main floor and upper floor look new and upgraded. The deck has great views. Cons - The basement could use a slight face lift. The final climb to the front of the garage is tricky and could be outlined in the welcome package instructions. Donald was reachable throughout and a great host.

This was perfect from my first conversation with Donald (the owner). He made it all easy and had the fridge stocked with our favorite drink when we arrived. Beautiful home and beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay at this mountain top home. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of room for our group. Evenings on the deck or by the fire pit were exceptional! Another nice feature was having level access to the living area, kitchen , half bath and master suite. We love spending time in Ruidoso/Alto and this home was a home away from home. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with, thanks Munoz family!

The owner checked in on us quite a bit which made us feel very special and welcomed. We were welcomed by 2 chalkboards with Welcoming notes. The views in the mornings of the mountains were breathtaking! The beds were a bit to firm for our liking but other than than that everything was impeccable. The fire pit outside made out evenings very nice and our get together that much better!

AMAZING!! We have stayed in several properties in Alto/Ruidoso over the years and this was the absolute best. The views are absolutely stunning! Communication with owner was like no other. I really felt like he cared that we had the best time ever! He even took the time to mail my sons air pods he left behind. House is super clean, well stocked and has a great layout and location!

We had an amazing vacation at this lovely home.

Our favorite thing to do was to wake up and have coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains. The wild life was an added bonus to the scenery! We got to see several deer and even a few elk while relaxing outside. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook several meals at the house. The house was very clean and comfortable. Donald was very helpful and suggested lots of delicious restaurants and fun activities to do around town. Overall we had a great vacation and definitely will be back!

A Must See and Stay......

Not many words can describe this place but WOW. Beautiful location, home, and area. Plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Family and friends stayed with plenty of room to stretch out. The pictures really only show a little of what this cabin offers and does not do the place full justice, you must see for yourself. The owner was by far the easiest renter I have ever worked with and made our stay so much easier to enjoy. If I don't end up purchasing a place in Ruidoso/Alto for myself I will definitely be renting this place again.

Wonderful weekend

We loved our stay at this cabin, it was clean (which is a must for me), location was perfect for a family tired of the city we got what we needed a quiet relaxing weekend. We had no issues what so ever. Property manager reached out to us before arriving making sure we knew everything we needed to know and kept checking on us through out our stay. We had no issues at all cabin is just as pictures show but much better in real life everything was so clean and perfect. Highly recommend this cabin, itā€™s definitely on top of our list now and canā€™t wait to go back.

Beautiful view and home

We loved this Ruidoso mountain home! We went over spring break with our two kids and their grandparents and had a wonderful time. The view from the house is so amazing and everything that we could've needed was there. The house was spacious, comfortable, bright, and had plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the foosball table and all the games provided. We also loved seeing the elk and deer each morning. We all enjoyed the fire pit and looking at the stars. Donald went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip by recommending places to eat, things to do, and being available to answer any questions we had. Great location and great view! We hope to be back!

Fabulous, start to finish!

Where it begin?! This beautiful home, set high on a hill with open 180+ degree views to Sierra Blanca from the main living area was perfect for our active multi-generational family of 9, ranging in age from 12-76. Walking in the front door on arrival there was a collective "WOW" as we stood in the great room, taking in views of the mountains as well as our accommodations. The scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is simply spectacular, and the interior is equally impressive: beautifully yet comfortably furnished, and immaculately clean. Wood floors and granite countertops gleamed. The kitchen is so well stocked utensil-wise for cooking, we lacked for nothing. The pantry, amazingly, is equally well stocked--a fact we weren't aware of before making our grocery run. Be sure to check it before you shop! Likewise the bathrooms, from bandaids to shampoo to lotion (much needed in the dry climate) to multiple rolls of toilet paper and plush towels--ours with our initial on them even! (Ha--we share a common surname initial with the owners.) The kids young and old enjoyed the foosball table. There were decks of cards, poker chips, games for the kids and not so young kids. The large flat screen TVs never even got turned on! Though we looked forward to the fire pit and s'mores, it was a bit cold for evening sitting for this group, half of whom had come from FL. Cold didn't hamper the evening star gazing though, with an incredible array of visible stars, and even some shooting stars. Wildlife was plentiful with elk and deer visible daily grazing below us, and shed antlers discovered daily in our hikes from the house. I could go on and on (in fact have), but to sum it up, it was a perfect getaway for our group. As a topper though, one of our group spent his entire career in the hospitality business, and Donald Munoz, the owner, would be tops in that industry. He's friendly, attentive and readily available to answer any questions quickly, as well as offer suggestions on things to do. It's obvious that he genuinely cares about his guests. His written explanations of the operation of everything from fireplace to heating system was spot on and a tremendous help in settling in comfortably. We all awoke the morning after our departure sad not to be in "our" house still, looking out at "our" mountains. It was a terrific week and could not have been a better getaway for our Christmas get-together!

This home exceeded our expectations. Loved the views of the mountains and the hills as well as having deer come up to the home. The home was very clean and stocked with yummy coffees and some chocolate candy. The home had everything we needed. The Host, Donald, was very communicative and made the whole process easy and efficient. The kids loved having their own rooms. Great location and easy access to Ruidoso. We would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was very clean and easy to use. the space was cozy and the cabin vibes were exactly what we were looking for. we did not get to spend a ton of time at the home due to planned activities, which we were disappointed in because it was such a good space. Would definitely stay again. There were 4 beds to sleep 8 people, and then probably 1 person per couch space to fit 10 people, but we brought an air mattress so that only 1 person needed to use a couch.

My wife and I have 3 beautiful daughters we enjoy spending time with in Alto. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and the surroundings are truly scenic. In the winter, snowfall makes this home an enchanting destination you will not want to leave. In the summer, it is the premier place to get away from the heat and enjoy the fresh outdoors. We enjoy sharing our 2 properties with guests and the best our mountain village has to offer.
