With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 202 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via the private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Shorewood 202 has completly renovated the kitchen and baths. This condo has all the comforts of home and the owner has furnished this property with stunning details. King size bed in the master plus 1 Double & 1 Twin in the 2nd.

Great location near Coligny Beach. Great pool for all ages with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The walk to the beach is easy, with automatic foot washers when you get back!The unit had plenty of space for our family of four.

Perfect views. Pool was amazing. Grounds are well kept and clean. Unit was not very clean, beds were horrible and uncomfortable. Unit had only one couch, not the 2 in the pictures. There was no comfortable place to sit, as the couch was old and sagging. Even kitchen chairs were not comfortable. Mold in bathroom, water damage on bottoms of doors, electrical switch plates were cracked, cabinet handles missing. Washing machine is moldy and dishwasher full of rust. Unit is in very poor condition. Towels and sheets were only thing clean in the place. Bedroom tv was also not working. Super disappointing

We had some great game nights at the dining table and movie nights in the cozy living room. Enjoyed the view during coffee every morning. We loved the place!

Everything You need on Hilton Head

Very clean, new appliances, AWSOME Pool and pool area. Right on the beech, close to everything, food, groceries, We Loved Dough Boy Pizza!!! Bike trails are Fantastic!

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our week’s stay the last week of February. Weather was cool-cold, mostly sunny so we walked on the beach, went into the jacuzzi and visited the sites of Hilton Head. The condo is lovely, comfortable beds and furniture including a balcony where we could be in the sun but out of the wind on cool days. It fit our needs perfectly.

Beautiful Beach View, Bad Bed

The condo was lovely and the view was fantastic! The kitchen had most everything we needed but we did not do a ton of cooking. Unfortunately, the master bedroom mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and there was a very noticeable and noisy plastic sheet under the bottom sheet. Neither my husband or I slept well even one of the nights we were there. This was a big disappointment to us.

Great location and property, but unit needs a deep clean.

We really enjoyed our stay as this was a great location and the overall property was perfect. This unit is in dire need of a deep clean. There was literally a thick layer of dust on the tops of the kitchen cabinet doors and elsewhere. It seems as though quick surface cleaning is all this unit has had for some time. If that issue was resolved we would stay here again.

Great location, lovely view

Came down from NC to join friend who drove from So FL. We both enjoyed our casual week at the beach. Parked the cars and walked to shops and restaurants at Coligny. Perfect spot. Rental agents were very quick to respond to a couple of small issues with TV and blinds. The sofas were not very comfortable and we had some difficulty getting up into the patio chairs. Definitely need new flatware in the kitchen. We only found THREE FORKS! Also could use some hot pads.

Nice place with a great view

We have traveled to Hilton Head since 2012 and have stayed at different resorts and homes along the southern half of the island. This place had a great view of the ocean and had easy access to the beach. The pool was very nice and so was the hot tub. There was four of use and we had plenty of room to hang out. The only issues we had with the place itself was the exhaust fans in the bathroom were not working properly, which management was going to address. The other thing was the dishwasher racks had lost their coating and were staring to rust. The management company was going to have someone inspect and replaces them. All and all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We are already looking forward to next years trip.

Would never rent from this owner again and told the realtor that.

Accommodation not exceptable

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from deck and condo of course beautiful. As for the inside of condo. When arriving the condo didn’t appear we began checking first the master bed mattress had a yellow foam pad it was damp in between mattress cover we removed all and found horrible stains all on mattress top. We also found it was not stable and firm. The chair is stained in master bedroom. The master bath water leaks out from bottom when showering. Miguel came to check since bottom condo complained said had to get in touch with owner to fix never heard back continued leaking. The living room furniture had sand flees all in it when temps got warmer came out we had to cover all furniture with covers to sit. Unfortunately we do not feel for what we paid for 18 day stay was acceptable and comfortable. Wish we would have known before and would have liked money refund for the dirty living spaces.also the spare bedroom you couldn’t have someone stay the beds are awful. We actually left a day early to go home. I have found other reviews stating the same on this condo and feel the owners either are not being made aware or just don’t care.

Reviewer Comments: The villa is in good condition, very clean, and a great location but not exactly what the picture shows with regards to the furniture. The beds are broken down. The master king size bed is like sleeping on a sack of door knobs. The sides of the mattress are broken down to the point of making it difficult to get the fitted sheet on or keeping it on. The second bedroom beds have ill fitting foam blocks on top of the mattress' to compensate for being worn out I guess. But it was like putting lipstick on a pig. Don't expect anything close to a restful night of sleep here. Had to buy two bed sheets at Walmart to put over the living room couches as they are very heavily stained/filthy. There are two different (using the pictures as reference) yellow club chairs by the windows that are getting thread bare. The TV's are old and offer only the most basic cable service. The living room TV has bad sound and picture quality. The master bedroom TV is small, almost impossible to operate, and looks like its seen better days. We've stayed at Seashore Vacations properties in the past and been very happy. But 202 Shorewood was a disappointment, especially so considering the price. We've been coming to Hilton Head in the summer for over 30 years now. We can't recommend this property until they replace the mattress' and update the furniture.

We had some concerns with the condo, and the rental company was very responsive & helpful.Cons: The condo needs some repairs & a deep cleaning. None of the beds are in good shape. The headboards are very loose & make a ton of noise. There was no getting out of bed & not disturbing each other even after the rental company tried to help.The kitchen utensils/cookware are old & many are rusty. The cabinets/drawers had dirt/residue in the them and could really use at least linens. The doors to the bathrooms have water damage at the bottom. The master shower leaks water in the floor. The air vents are in bad shape. The dresser in the 2nd bedroom is hard to use/broken drawer. The closets were unorganized - pillows just thrown on the floor, stuff falling out when you open the doors. The kitchen cabinets have dust caked on the tops where they have not been cleaned. The sheets on all the beds are cheap, stiff, and uncomfortable. The patio area was not even swept & the cushions are all dirty. The condo never felt welcoming...We stay in houses/condos every summer. We have always had a good experience with owners leaving personal touches to make you feel welcomed. This rental could use lots of organization. For example, all cabinets in the kitchen were full. There wasn't even one we could use. The rental company did come in and reorganize so we had some space. But there wasn't even a muffin tin, so it's not like it is filled with usable items. It is just odd. Overall, if you are ok with mediocre accommodations, you will love to view, location, and pool. I also appreciated the rental companies attempt to help and even bringing disposables we could use.

This particular condo was well stocked with everything that we needed.We felt that this condo was not as clean as the others and overall could use to be freshened up with painting every room. Mold is starting to build on the ceiling above the shower in the master bathroom and should be addressed very soon before it worsens.

The view is amazing and we really enjoyed eating lunch on the balcony.The kitchen and appliances are great. Seashore vacations once again was great to work with, we have stayed at Shorewood and have booked through Seashore vacations many times and they are always easy to work with. We plan on returning next year!
