This is a third floor two-bed two bath condo in building 4. The living room has a 42" TV and a queen size pullout sofa. Free WiFi throughout the condo. The kitchen is fully equipped with many accessories and seating for 4 at the dining table with additional seating at the bar. In the master bedroom there is a king size bed, while the guest room has two twin beds. From the private balcony you have a mountain view along with an impressive view of Oma's Meadow. Our newly reconstructed clubhouse has a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room. The property also has tennis courts and outdoor grilling areas. Come stay in the mountains! **No wood burning fire place**

Reviewer Comments: The screen door to the balcony froze shut, and the microwave had exposed metal, making it unusable. The property was relatively clean, although we found crumbs and dirt from previous guests. The rental is perfect for avid skiers and snowboarders who plan to head up and down the mountain regardless of the weather and just need a place to rest their heads at night. Everything else that is family-friendly is down the mountain.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was as shown in photos. Positive: Awesome convenience to Oma's Meadow slope. Fire place was nice. Ski locker was convenient. Negatives: Hot water heater needed maintenance, wasn't producing enough for multiple people to take showers. Even after maintenance, had to wait 20-30 minutes between each shower. Bed mattresses were very uncomfortable. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay, and will most likely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’re an experienced skier, this is a great place to stay. There’s no elevator - all stairs. But, that view is worth every step up. I will warn you to check under the linens - once we tore ours down for check-in, we noticed one of the pillows was pretty nasty with stains. I’d recommend to just bring your own pillows, as these ones were pretty flat. And, there aren’t any extra linens for the pull-out sofa. We’d definitely stay again, because the pros heavily outweigh the cons. Oh, and pay the $45 insurance. Otherwise, you may be liable for all of the existing damage and/or you’ll need to brink $1,000 in cash (despite it being 2021).

If you are looking for deluxe accommodations, this will not be for you. The decor is dated as others mentioned, but this unit has all you need to come off the slopes and cook a warm meal and rest. We especially liked being so close to the clubhouse where we took full advantage of the hot tub and pool!

Beautiful views but a long way from the bottom

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: the beds were comfy! The space was more than adequate for our family of 5 (with teenage son on sleeper sofa). Kitchen was adequate. It was really nice having a dryer! The plentiful hooks were nice for hanging gloves, helmets, jackets, towels, etc. Negatives: the heat was impossible for us to regulate. We couldn’t find instructions. Had to sleep with doors and windows open. Coffee pot didn’t work (office did provide another one the second day). Plenty of pillows yet no pillowcases for them. Hot water was not adequate for our family of 5. Pool doesn’t provide towels, and there weren’t enough provided in the condo to have a pool towel and bath towel. If you don’t have experienced skiers, the blue hill right out of the gate can be a challenge. We will not stay here again due to the proximity to the bottom. For 2 days of skiing, the ski in- ski out wasn’t worth it. We found ourselves having to drive to the bottom a good bit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to be able to ski out the back door. The office and pool areas were new, clean and modern. The unit we stayed in was on life support. Everything, and I literally mean everything, was about to fall off its hinges, come out of the wall or just squeak its last rusty "squeak" and then give disintegrate. The tv's were new, but we didn't watch them much.I'm just surprised that no one has thought it would be a good idea to go in and update some of these things. I don't like to be negative about it because we had a blast, loved the vacation skiing etc. If I'm being honest about the unit, then I would hope to stay in a better one next time we go to Sugar Mountain.

A Beautiful View from a Cozy Condo

Our boys had their own twin beds, but they did say they were a little too firm. After a full day of skiing, they slept great though! Our king bed was comfortable. The heaters worked great! We were never cold in the condo. The hot water did run out fast. We knew from previous reviews about the water situation, so we just spaced out our showers. We enjoyed cooking quick meals in the kitchen and eating and playing games at the dining room table. The couch and recliners in the living room were comfortable. Overall, the condo was cozy but could use a refresh soon. Our favorite part of our stay was the view over Oma’s Meadow and the surrounding mountains. Loved eating breakfast while watching the sunrise over the mountain each morning!

It old but everything worked

Reviewer Comments: While the ski package was a good deal having to drive down the mountain after 8:00pm ( in the snow and darkness) to obtain the equipment is not user friendly. We did bring wood for the fire place but normal 18 to 20 inch pieces would not fit so bring a saw or 12 to 16 inch long pieces of firewood.

We had a daddy daughter ski trip with two dads and three daughters and we had plenty of room. The weather was good with plenty of snow. The only suggestion I have is it might be time to update the hot tub and pool area and maybe have a few more chairs and tables. But overall a great trip and met plenty of friendly people.

Pleasantly surprised with a couple recommendations / heads up

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in full working order and A LOT bigger than anticipated. It is, however, quite a bit dated and certain things (such as toilet seats) could be replaced with not-so-cheap choices. The dryer is falling apart (but working), the showers leaked and we ran out of hot water after 1 shower, and the kitchen cabinets could use replacing. I didn't realize that the condo was located at the top of the mountain with direct access to a blue slope (not useful for new skiers). You can rent directly from the resort (which is great), but you still have to go to the base of the mountain for ski lift tickets and sign-up for classes (which booked up fast). The shuttle was great since our vehicle was not properly equipped to drive up/down the mountain while snowing. All-in-all a great experience and would recommend it.
