This stunning home has fast become a South Beach favorite! It is conveniently located in equal walking distance to the gorgeous sandy shore beach as well as to the fun filled festivities of our lively downtown area. You will truly feel at home in this beautifully appointed home which has been professionally decorated, and has maintained the original hard wood floors, moldings, and staircase.

This is the perfect spot for you to make your own South Haven Happy memories.

This spacious home is ideal for a girl’s get-a-way, family outing, and cozy enough for a romantic rendezvous.

The fabulous award winning landscaped grounds showcase amazing flowerbeds and herb garden that will delight and tickle your senses. A secluded brick patio is handily located just off the kitchen, great for entertaining or just relaxing with cocktails after a sun filled day at the beach.

This wonderfully maintained home has three sizable bedrooms all lovingly decorated, boasting queen pillow top mattresses for the most amazing nights sleep. There is also a comfy family room with a working wood burning fireplace, and flat screen HD-TV, spacious living room, and game room stocked with plenty of playtime fun.

Great location!

Highly recommend staying here! Clean, well equipped and close to everything. We brought bikes but there are plenty there which makes it super easy to get to town and the beach. The house is spacious, clean and also well equipped - just the way a rental home should be!

Sight Seeing Cottage

My family and I truly enjoyed our time in South Haven at this cottage. It had character, a great location, and it was the perfect size and arrangement for my family and friends. Missy was fantastic to communicate with and provided excellent recommendations.

Roomy home with lots of amenities.

Spacious common areas and a private basement family room that could easily serve as a fourth bedroom. Lots of amenities such as bikes, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas help to make packing lighter.

Perfect Summer Break

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. While the house is older, it is very comfortable, homey and well taken care of. Added bonus is that the house has more space than it appears in the photos. We had no problem at all handling 6 of us. There is also a beautiful patio to enjoy the morning breakfast or evening hangout. And the location is unbeatable; half mile to town and a half mile to the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay. There were three bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, which was excellent for our family. (We did find we needed to use the fans provided on warm July nights.) There are two sitting areas and two eating areas on the main floor, so lots of room to spread out, plus a half bath. The washer and dryer on the lower level were of high quality, and the extra shower on the lower level was useful. We also utilized the bikes, beach chairs, and lawn games in the garage - a handy bonus! Perhaps best of all though was the location. We walked every day to the beach and to downtown. The neighborhood is very pleasant. We could also walk to the Kids’ Corner playground, which was impressive and well kept. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Memories made

Grateful for Missy giving us a home for our second South Haven summer! Plenty of space for adults and kids - indoor and outdoor. Garage inventory impressive - umbrella, chairs, toys, bikes. Missy and her local contacts responsive to questions about AC and washer. Walkable to Kids Corner, South Beach, and town! Happy Momma!

Family vacation

This was our third time coming to South Haven for a family vacation, but the first time staying in this home. We're a family of 5, with three young children, and the home worked great for us. The location was doable for walking to the beach and carrying bags/toys. We didn't walk to Kids Corner or downtown but also would have been convenient. The home itself was clean, well stocked, and Missy was responsive to any questions that came up while we were there. Would definitely recommend this home to other vacationers.

Family Vacation

House is conveniently located between the beach and downtown. Check in process was super easy. We were pleased to find the bikes and sand toys in the garage. The house is located along the 4th of July parade route which was perfect for the kids and us adults. Note that while the house does have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The second bathroom is split (toilet on main-floor and shower in basement), the other full bathroom is on the second floor with the bedrooms. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Everything starts around the table

This home is located on a corner lot and has no backyard, what it does have is a wonderful front private courtyard where we gathered everyday for at least one meal together, the grandkids played, we grilled, had chit chat time, and loved it. The home was spacious and provided room for all. We brought along kitchen items because we all love to cook, and based on previous reviews we wanted to make sure we had what we needed. We brought along our blackstone grill for outdoors and it was perfect. The TV in the basement was outdated and we couldnt find the clicker, no worries, we brought a firestick for the kids at night for movies and used the mainfloor TV. The floors upstairs do creak a lot but thats to be expected and didnt both any of us at night. The beds were comfy and lots of towels and amenities. A short walk to town to get donuts and ice cream and just 4 blocks to the stairs to go down to the beach. The beach restoration was almost complete by the end of the week and will be great for next summer.

Comfortable home away from home and perfect location

This is our second time saying at this property. Before we stayed with a bigger family group, this time it was just our immediate family. The house feels like a home and has everything you need inside (kitchen is stacked) and outside (bikes, beach chairs and more!). There is a room for everything, including a finished basement, perfect for kids. The location is everything....walk to downtown or to the beach, you are close to everything but tucked away in a quite cozy neighborhood. Stay here...you'll be glad that you did.

Wonderful vacation!

We loved the house. Great location and plenty of room! We would definitely stay there again. Missy was responsive and friendly. One small drawback…While kitchen was well stocked, dull knives, one old skillet, etc made cooking challenging.

Perfect location in charming house

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The location is perfect, 5 mins from town and 5 mins from the beach. Equipped with everything we needed to make it a home from home, including chairs, beach umbrella and bikes. The beach is very clean with soft sand and food/drink options nearby and kayak rental. The town center has many restaurants, shops and bars and has a wonderful farmers market that is worth a visit. Meijers grocery store is a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We had a great stay! This was a clean and unique house that was brimming with character, from the custom woodwork to the distinctive rooms. The location is perfect - just a few blocks from town, the beach, and kids corner. The house offers one full bath and two half baths - one with a shower, and one with a toilet. The only drawback is the carpeted kitchen without a dishwasher, but we used paper plates which saved us from spending too much time doing dishes! I would definitely recommend.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The house was so lovely and decorated adorably. It has such a cozy feel that we automatically felt relaxed. With the beach only a few blocks away, we enjoyed walks, and bike rides to enjoy the sun and sand or take in the sunset. It was fun to take quick bike rides to town as well. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Great Location

Close to the beach and town. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The back bedroom was the only drawback. Very warm room with window air conditioner that was noisy. Otherwise, everything in the house was lovely. We throughly enjoyed our week.

Great Vacation!

We had a perfect week in South Haven! The house was great and totally met our needs. My son liked sleeping in the basement and having his own bathroom! The 3 bedrooms upstairs were all spacious and had comfortable beds. The house is a short walk to the beach (although we drove since we had so much stuff with us) and an easy walk to downtown. South Haven is an adorable town and makes for a fun family vacation!

Great House in Great Location

House was clean and had all the amenities. Nice gathering areas both indoors and outdoors. Quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance to beach, shops, and attractions. Easy access from I-196.

Beautiful beach house for our family vacation.

This house was perfect for our family vacation in South Heaven, it had everything we needed to feel like at home. It is beautiful decorated with beach theme in every room, it really makes you feel like you are on vacation. The property was very clean, we enjoy the patio for barbecues. The location is great, a few blocks to the beach or to downtown. We enjoy every minute of our vacation, the beds were very confortable. We love our home, and are excited to share it with you. We live in Chicago but enjoy our time in South Haven immensely. A short two hour drive from the city, but you really feel like you've gone somewhere new and exciting.

My very first South Haven experience came when my husband rented me and my girlfriends a house to celebrate my 35th birthday. We came over in late September and had the time of our lives. We laughed, we shopped, we ate, and we walked the beach and saw the most spectacular sunsets!

I came home from this trip with sand in my shoes, and a smile on my face. I knew from that trip that I would want to experience this same feeling again and again. That’s when I knew I needed to own my own special spot in the lovely town of South Haven.

I searched for three years before I found my perfect home. I had several criteria in mind, but most importantly, it needed to be walking distance to the beach as well as to the downtown. Once I get there I rarely ever drive my car during my stay unless I am going to play golf and I need to tote my clubs.

The house is beautifully appointed, all the beds have queen pillow top mattresses. The yard has been professionally landscaped and even has an herb garden in the back. There is a great patio equipped with electricity right off the kitchen convenient for outdoor dining or just relaxing with a cocktail after a day of sun and fun at the beach.

The kitchen if fully equipped to cook meals at home. We offer a fully stocked game room, working wood burning fireplace, outdoor grill, plenty of bikes and so much more.

It is my family’s great delight to share our home with you. We hope you will choose our home to begin making your own “South Haven Happy Memories”.

This house has been professionally decorated, and there is style and whimsy at every turn. It is an older home that was well built and well maintained. We are only the third owner of this magnificent property. The original wood staircase has been preserved as well as much of the wood moldings. The home has a historic charm with all the modern amenities.

The gardens have been professionally installed and well maintained, with a great patio equipped with electric for music, cooking, and late night fun.
