Experience all that South Haven has to offer with the comforts of home. This newly renovated house sleeps 8 and has a full bath and 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen bed and flat screen TV, the other 2 twin beds. The spacious master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and crib, full bath, flat screen TV and walk in closet. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper and flat screen TV. Cable, DVD, and WIFI are also provided. The dining room table seats 8. Washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen and gas grill are also provided.

Settle in, leave the car behind and take the short walk to South Beach, Kids Corner Park, downtown and more. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views of Lake Michigan from the point at the end of Van Buren Street. Experience biking the Kal Haven trail, jet skiing on Lake Michigan, kayaking on the black river, play the challenging golf courses or sample the wines from local wineries. Saugatuck, St. Joseph, and Holland offer additional options and are within 30 miles.

Perfect for our family of 5

The home was the perfect size for our family of 5 with 3 little ones. Everything was convenient to walk to and the beach was great even in 60 degree temps.

Plenty of space for 6 or 8 adults. Very clean and updated. Just a short walk straight to the beach. Has all the conveniences and comforts of a home away from home would need.

Comfortable cottage with the perfect location

We have stayed here two summers in a row. The house is clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to spread out on rainy days. The kitchen is wonderful for staying in to eat, but the location is perfect for walking downtown for dinner as well. Close to the Van Buren bike trail and the beach, this is the perfect vacation get away for our family!

A Lovely Home

Mark and Linda’s “Haven’s Away” is a lovely home, with all the things! The home is very cozy, it has everything you need for a nice weekend away! The home is very close to the beach and town, but just far enough away from the action to feel relaxed! I would gladly stay in this home again and again!

This is our second time staying at this home, and it is wonderful! It is a perfect location, walkable to downtown, the beach, and the playground. The house has everything that you would need, and it is very accommodating to our 4 children. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Property Close to Everything

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is walking distance to the beach and also town. The wagon and beach chairs were a huge help getting everything to the beach. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed. My kids are asking when we can go back!

Fantastic South Haven Home

Mark’s property was perfect for our visit to South Haven with our two children (2 & 4). It’s walking distance to the beach, Kid’s Corner and the town; we rarely drove anywhere. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Definitely a great spot for families. Mark was responsive and easy to work with.

Just what we needed!

This is our 2nd time staying at this beach house. We love the location and that we can walk into town. We usually have too much stuff to walk to the lake, but it is definitely walkable! The house has everything you need to enjoy a week away. We enjoyed the grill and private patio/backyard!

Perfect location

We stayed at this property for 5 nights with our 3 kids (ages 9, 4 and 1.5) and it fit us beautifully. The crib and baby/toddler amenities was extra great touches (booster seat, corner protectors), not to mention the beach wagon and toys! Mark was amazing to communicate and work with, he truly went above and beyond answering questions and even checking a few things for me! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you so much Mark and Linda!

Lovely house, walkable neighborhood

House was was clean, well organized, and ready for our short stay. More than enough space for three (a larger family would be plenty comfortable). Great neighborhood, quiet, walkable, tree-lined streets. A short stroll from the beach, large playground, pier, river, and downtown—for shops, cafes, and restaurants. We will be back next year!

Vacation home perfection

My family loved staying here. It was the perfect place for our family of 4 (two adults and two young kids). Loved that they had a crib for our youngest! The kitchen and family room were very spacious. The house was SO CLEAN! Location is perfect! 10 minute walk or less to the Kids Corner playground, South Beach and downtown. We really appreciated the wagon, beach chairs, beach toys, grill, and fire pit provided.

Amazing Again

Our 2nd time staying at the property and we enjoyed even more. House was spotless and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves with 3 small kids. Short walk to the beach or downtown. Michigan Theater is cheaper than a matinee in most places at all times for first run movies. Thank you for sharing your home with us again.

Perfect Location and Super Clean

This house was so great. The listing was very accurate with all the amenities listed. There was plenty of towels, TP, soap, trash bags, etc. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes you need including kid friendly dishes and utensils. The house was very clean which we appreciated. Many board games for in the house as well as beach items including a wagon to haul your stuff down the short walk to the beach.Mark was fantastic to communicate with and we really enjoyed our stay here. We will be back.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We needed a comfortable, affordable place for a post wedding family gathering. Each family unit rented a different house around South Haven. Though others were fancier and significantly more expensive, this house had all the amenities we needed and was closest to the lake and the wonderful children’s park. The houses on this tree lined street are quaint and well kept. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood. Everything about the house is exactly as advertised, organized and clean. If we ever visit South Haven again, we would definitely come back here.

Great family location

We had a great stay in Mark's home. Communicating with Mark was so easy from the start. The house was very clean. It was nicely decorated. Because we were traveling with our three-year-old twin granddaughters, we were glad there was not an abundance of knick-knacks to move to higher levels. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location of this house is amazing for families. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is a short walk to Kids' Corner playground, which has been beautifully redone, the beach, and downtown. I would definitely stay here again!!
