The Montechiaro Capanna farmhouse is part of a large estate belonging to an ancient family situated in the countryside to the east of Siena. It is not isolated, since there is a small residential hamlet in the vicinity. Guests enjoy all-round panoramic views over the surrounding countryside of large olive groves, vineyards and tilled fields, with the city of Siena in the background. The farmhouse is the perfect choice for a group of friends or for two families, lovers of the countryside who wish to alternate their holiday between excursions to Siena and other Tuscan towns and relaxation in utter peace. In front of the house is a large area of natural lawn complete with garden furniture, and a little way below on a natural terrace is the private swimming pool (15x8 m, 2.5 m deep)(01/05-30/10) complete with an equipped shady area and outdoor shower. The sun going down behind Siena creates an entrancing atmosphere and guests can admire it sipping a glass of fine Chianti, perhaps accompanied by some of the excellent local preserved meats. There are another two farmhouses on the estate within a radius of 200 metres, Montechiaro Capannina and Montechiaro Torre, each with its own exclusive swimming pool and garden, offering accommodation for a total of 28 guests. Consequently it is an ideal destination for very numerous parties of friends, allowing them to share their holiday while offering each group its privacy.
