This corner apartment is on the third floor of a stylish warehouse conversion in a waterfront development. Overlooking the old docks, it is well served by transport and is close to Leith's vibrant restaurant scene. The apartment is quiet and peaceful. It has an entryphone system, internal elevator and private parking for one car. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with a comfortable living room with windows on two sides (one of which has a window seat looking out towards the Shore area across the Water of Leith), a fully equipped galley kitchen, a separate dining room (with seating for six), two bedrooms (one double with large en-suite shower room, one twin bedded), bathroom and central heating. The double bedroom has a king-size double bed. The bathroom is off the hallway and has a bathtub (no shower) and WC. The living room has a three-seater sofa (which converts into a bed), a two-seater sofa, and an easy chair.

Great stay in Leith

Our stay was, again, superb. We stayed in this location a few years ago and had such a pleasant experience that we returned. Everything in the flat was terrific and the Leith area is a lovely place to visit. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Perfect flat in the perfect location.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs in very short walking distance. The bus stop was right outside the building with frequent departures to downtown Edinburgh and all the sights. I would highly recommend this flat!

Our stay in Edinburgh

Property was as advertised. The lift was not working so climbing the stairs with luggage was a bit of a chore.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Apologies that the lift/elevator was not working. There is a second in the building, towards the centre of the block, and this is available for use by guests.

Visit to Edinburgh

The flat met our needs perfectly. Clean, enough space, easy access to public transportation. The only downside was there was not a lot of air flow and the doors all closed on their own unless propped open. That made it a bit tricky at night but all in all we were very pleased.

Spacious two bedroom flat on multiple transit lines. Easy access in and out to everywhere.

This rental couldn’t have been better located. Simple access to and from the airport, the train station, The Old Town, the New Town and all points in between. Grocery across the street. Shops, pubs, and cafés a short walk away. Blocks from the Water of Leith. Communication with the property managers was clear, easy, and quick. The flat was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend considering a stay here over something closer to the Royal Mile. Leith is a gem.

Great location for stay in Edinburgh

This is a great location for Edinburgh. About 15 minutes from the city centre, but Leith has a great selection of eateries in the area from takeaways to eat in - cheaper to more lavish experiences. We loved the Rose Leaf Pub, East Pizzas and we had Britannia Spice deliver on one evening when our feet were worn out. Good bus routes outside the apartments and also nearby you can use the hop on hop off tourist buses. The apartment is well equipped and was larger than we thought, having two good sized bedrooms a nice light lounge and a separate dining room. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Royal Yacht Britannia (which was a great experience). Would and have recommended to friends and family.

Overall, a comfortable flat & well equipped. We are all over 80 years old , so disappointed that our nearest lift wS not working. Stairways entrance & corridors could do with a really good lean. Near a bus stop, no.16 to city. Good.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Sorry that the nearest lift at Commercial Street is currently not working. There is another lift in the building for guests' use. We have alerted the buildings management company that the stairway entrance and corridor needs better attention, and we will do our best to ensure that they address this. Good to know that you found the apartment comfortable and well equipped, and convenient for the buses to the city centre. No.22 is also a good bus as well as No.16 for the city centre. Great Potential

This flat is situated in a great area: bus stop right outside, private parking spot, market right down the street, restaurants, and Ocean Terminal (shopping mall) w/Royal Yacht Britannia about a 10 minute walk. That said, the flat is on an upper floor, and the lift did not work, and if you're not use to carrying groceries, suitcases, etc. up/down that many stairs, it gets old very quickly. There were only two other main problems: first, the toilets...very difficult to get flushed and the master leaking. Then, after being on the road for a week with 3 people and a huge amount of dirty clothes, we were expecting a washer/dryer. Yes, there is a washer (that says it takes 30 minutes per load, but is really 2hours), but only a drying "wrack". Please empty that closet so there's room for a stackable dryer. NOT having to spend a huge amount of our holiday time doing laundry would have been lovely. All this said, Lynda, the property manager, is very attentive and responds quickly to your texts/calls.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review, and it's good to hear that you enjoyed the location, market/shops, restaurants, etc. Sorry that the lift was not working during your stay: this was a temporary outage before a repair on the Monday; there are three lifts in the block, and if one is out of commission the other two are usually working ok. There's a washer in the apartment and a free-standing clothes horse for hanging up clothes to dry in the apartment. The washing machine has a quick setting, but for a full wash it takes longer. We'd have been happy to advise on a local launderette where it's possible to drop washing off for a service wash and collect it later. Apologies for these shortcomings.

Great Stay in Leith

This is a large apartment compared to where we usually stay--two bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining room. It's on a major city bus route so getting into town is easy. We had everything we needed and were comfortable. I'd stay again if I went back to Edinburgh (highly likely!)

Amazing Flat in Leith!

The flat was so perfect for my son and I! We relied fully on public transportation to get around Edinburgh as well as points north and south. No problem! The bus stop was steps away. The flat was spacious and very clean and well appointed. As it’s in Leith, it is about a 25 minute bus ride to city center but the area is so cute with nice pubs and restaurants. Martin was very responsive to all my questions and the check in/check out process was very smooth. I would definitely stay here again.

Great time in Leith

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We found it very convenient (very close to the bus line), with an Aldi right across the street and several excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. The flat was clean, quiet, and had everything we might possibly need. The Host was extremely accommodating and responsive. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Familienfreundliche Unterkunft

Wir haben eine Woche im April in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Lage war für uns optimal, da weg vom Trubel der Altstadt und verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Wir kamen bequem mit den verschiedenen Bussen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der SkyLink-Flughafenexpress hält sogar in Laufnähe zur Commercial Street. Sämtliche Fenster liegen zur ruhigen Gebäuderückseite hin, sodass wir mit offenen Fenstern schlafen konnten. Die Fenster verfügen über extra Kindersicherungen. Freudig überrascht, fanden wir bei unserer Ankunft Mineralwasser und Milch im Kühlschrank und auch die gängigsten Gewürze im Küchenschrank vor. Zum Lebensmitteleinkaufen befindet sich ein Aldi direkt gegenüber. Begeistert hat uns der Vierschlitztoaster. Dass die Küche kein Fenster hat, stört nicht, da der Abzug über dem Herd leistungsstark funktioniert. Heizung, Warmwasser und sämtliche Ausstattungen funktionieren einwandfrei. Es gibt ein Badewannen- und ein Duschbad jeweils mit Toilette. Nur die Hebel der Toilettenspülungen brauchten eine energische Bedienung. Sämtlich benötigte Bedienungsanleitungen, sowie Tips finden sich übersichtlich in einem Ordner im Wohnzimmer. Das Wohngebäude ist wohl ein ehemaliges altes Speichergebäude, da die Wände und Decken hellhörig sind. Wir können die Wohnung auch für längere Aufenthalte wärmsten empfehlen.

a happy home

The property was lovely & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I belong to Leith & it was lovely seeing the whisky bonds turned into such lovely flats. We intend booking up more often as in the past we have stayed elsewhere but really want to stay at the flat. I will be sorting out dates in the next few days. We were also impressed that it is so well double glazed that we heard nothing from the outside. The people we had to contact when the alarm went off couldn't have done enough for us. Again thank you. Beautiful appartment ,spotlessly clean very comfortable and well equipped, 2 minute walk to the bus stop for Edinburgh city centre, plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, the ship on the shore if you love seafood is a must , will be back for a longer stay soon.

Property was clean and well equipped in a great location close to the top facilities in Leith. Good access to the City. Enjoyed the facilities in the apartment. Only criticism was the lift adjacent to our apartment wasn’t working Didn’t detract from our stay - thank you.

Great apartment

The apartment was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of room for our family of four. There are quite a few good restaurants in the neighborhood, on both sides of the bridge. The bus stop is right outside the apartment building. The location is too far to walk to town so we took the bus every day. The bus schedule was easy to follow and we bought tickets on-line. Although the apartment is great, if we return to Edinburgh, we will stay closer to town.
