We’ve had the privilege of staying at Galleon House several times now and it never fails to impress us. The location and sea view’s are incredible and it provides excellent facilities and comfort. Sarah is an extremely conscientious host and the welcome pack is very generous and much appreciated……..thank you, Sarah, for yet another fabulous stay at Galleon House and we look forward to our next visit !

This is not the first time we have stayed at Galleon house and hopefully not the last, everything is Five star you couldn't ask for anything more,my Grandson and his partner came this time and they have fallen in love with Runswick bay and Galleon house.

A beautifully furnished and decorated cottage with everything being of a very high standard. Kitchen extremely well equipped. All over clean and comfortable. The best thing of all is the views. We had our binoculars and spent so much time watching the activities on the beach and in the sea. No shops nearby so make sure you take everything you need.

Immaculate little cottage ideal for us two (though the living/dining/kitchen area would be quite a squeeze for 6, even though there are 3 bedrooms). Spectacular views over Runswick Bay. Everything you could possibly think to need was in the apartment. Great shower, attic bed very comfortable but you have to scramble over the bed to get to the window side of the room due to the roof angle. A whole cake, a bottle of prosecco, milk and orange juice on arrival. Pass provided for the residents car park. Fabulous location. Highly recommend this delightful property.

We loved our stay at Galleon House. Wonderful welcome pack with homemade cake, Prosecco etc. Panoramic views over the bay, loved being able to watch all the happenings on the beach below. Everything was immaculate, and very well equipped. We will be back. Thank you to the host who made our holiday so enjoyable.

This is our 3rd time at Galleon house, and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. Attention to detail in this property is amazing. There is everything and more that you need. The kitchen is so well equipped. Bedding and towels are beautiful. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the stunning bay. We will definitely be going back.

Just wonderful!!! Location incredible, the cottage was just perfect for 2 adults and 2 little kids. It's so peaceful, so calm, views to die for. Wish i could have stayed longer. The host had thought of everything in terms of what is needed, the food and drink touches on arrival were so lovely. Thank you so much, will come back hopefully!

Amazing location

We had a lovely stay and Sarah couldn't have been more helpful and accomoding. The house is beautiful and the views were amazing and who doesn't appreciate a pub on their door step!

We have just spent 3 nights there and it was an absolutley stunning pace. Everythong was catered for. Tgankyou so much for all the thoughtful welcome things: Cake, wine, milk, bread & Jam. Beautiful views and walks on the beach. The place was spotless. We will certainly recommend and come back. Thankyou.

Fabulous cottage with stunning view of the sea and bay. A cottage with character yet modernised to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable beds. Very clean throughout. Sarah (host) was brilliant in providing timely and reliable information. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Our stay here at this property has been everything and more than expected. The welcome pack of homemade cake, homemade jam , bread, Prosecco, juice, crisps and milk were such a lovely surprise on arrival . The accommodation is stunning and the location is so perfect with beautiful views from dawn till dusk . Runswick bay is a truly spectacular village with such breath taking beauty surrounding, we were sad to leave. The local pubs serve lovely food the convenient royal hotel next door and the Elletby we found outstanding .Kindest regards Anna

Beautiful house in the most beautiful setting, what a gem. Sarah our host was very helpful in answering any of my questions and we felt that she went above and beyond with all the little extras that were left for us. We will be definitely be rebooking this property in the new year

Weekend break in Runswick Bay

Gorgeous, pretty cottage in a perfect position in the center of Runswick Bay with amazing sea views. Particularly loved the personal touches of the birthday cake and banner for my husband.

Wonderful cottage

What a wonderful weekend we have had at Galleon House. This cottage is stunning and the attention to detail in the accommodation and decor is first class. All home comfort you can ever dream of and the homemade lemon drizzle cake was outstanding. Can’t wait to go again next year.
