Location says it all! Away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores... The complex is safe, as there are check-ins with a gate guard. The coffee shop, "Selah" made it extra special!

Great stay!

Fort Morgan Vacation

So many wonderful things about our stay! This place was perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beaches , definitely what we were looking for in our getaway! Definitely will be coming back! Thanks for such a wonderful getaway! We had a blast at the beach and loved being close to the Ferry to Dauphine Island!

Gulf Shores Retreat

This was our first trip to the Gulf Shores and it was just what we were looking for. We had an amazing view of the gulf and enjoyed our daily walks up and down the beach. The condo was perfect for the two of us, and we enjoyed the quiet location.

Definitely will stay here again! Great room and perfect location. My husband and I are already planning our next getaway….. hopefully with family! Host was easy to get ahold of, no troubles. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Gulf Shores Plantation condo review

Beautiful setting for this condo, and the owner couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. However, the mattress and the couch were extremely uncomfortable. The location of this condo within the resort is great- beach view, so close to both the inside pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as the outdoor pool and boardwalk to the beach.

Absolutely the Best Beach!

The condo is small but adequate especially if the beach is your main reason for going! Just a short walk out to white sand and blue water. Walk a little further down the beach and get away from the crowd.

Relaxing Retreat

Perfect for 2 or a small family. Lots of pools to enjoy. Especially enjoyed the "adults only" pool. If you have a car it is not far from Orange Beach with lots of things to do and amazing restaurants. There is a restaurant on site, the Sassy Bass, and and ice cream parlor. Highly Recommend.

LA Trip “Lower Alabama”

This unit is very well kept; AC, hot water heater and all appliances work great! Easy access to the beach and laundry room. The Sassy Bass restaurant is a two minute walk and the food and service is outstanding! My wife and I had a great time!

Best Vacation Ever

Prop manager was very responsive. The unit was very clean. Beach access was very good. This is the best beach I've ever been to (I've been to Hawaii, France, Mexico, Florida). My sister and I loved this condo and beach. We have already planned to come back. The condo was just as advertised. Prop manager/Cleaner - Job well done!

Not clean

The property looked nice upon entering but after a closer look, not so much. The towels and sheets smelled like cigarette smoke, and the the comforters, shams, and pillows smelled like somebody's dirty hair. Clearly not clean, very off-putting. Spent 10 washing everything the night we got there at the laundromat style facilities. Stains on the couch as well. Bathroom floor wasn't very clean either.

Birthday week

Very nice room beautiful ocean view. There's not as much to do in fort Morgan like orange beach area but we enjoyed the quiet. It'll be nice to have a new sliding door the old one takes effort to operate. Needs a new outlet in the bathroom the one there doesn't work. We would return some day

First Ones!

What a treat it was to be the first guests in this newly renovated condo. Everything was just beautiful! The colors and decor were very peaceful, the furniture was comfortable and it even smelled great! There was even a basket of goodies left for us with a card....very unexpected and a lovely surprise. The location was great and the view from the condo was amazing. Closest condo to the beach, as well as to the pool. The weather did not cooperate well while we were there, so we enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Bill and Robin, everything was as good or better than you advertised. Thank you for a great place to get away from it all.

Fort Morgan

Very Cute little unit. Beware construction on the pool. Other pools available, closest is super small for lots of condos. The unit sits right at the pool. Do not plan your stay for the pool. The ocean is a very close to the unit and you have a great view off the patio. It looks like the inside was just remodeled. The back slider door very hard to open. Owner says all units will have sliders replaced soon. Clean place and good communication. Perfect for couple or small family.

Nice Place but Disappointing Experience

Owner thought refurbishing of 6 units adjacent to the unit we stayed in was to begin another week later. Unfortunately, it began the day we arrived and continued all week. We experienced significant nuisance banging, high-pitched saws all screeching, maneuvering equipment beeping noises while demolishing six patio decks 8:00am - 3:00pm. Upon departure we critiqued the experience to the owner and requested a rebate of fees. He explained he was not aware the project began during our stay and apologized for the inconvenience. He remitted 50% refund of the base rate. A very warranted and appreciated action. Really helped take the sting out of an unfortunate and unintended situation.

A cozy condo!

My family <4 of us> really enjoyed staying here! We've never stayed in a small condo which made us nervous at first, but it honestly wasn't bad! Our children are 8 and 2 so they didn't mind it at all lol They loved sleeping together on the pull out couch. Our blender was broke and the property owner personally brought us a new one the next day! The view from the room was fantastic! Would stay here again!

We've been vacationing here for years and now we live just down the beach from this resort. My wife is from Michigan and I was raised in Iowa. We have grown children in Wisconsin, Georgia and Alabama that love to come with their families to this special place on the beach. We have two condo's at Plantation East that we've completely remodeled. We use them for family and rent to guests that are a 'a bit more particular' about where they stay' as my Southern Grandmother used to say. In addition to this unit, we have a roomy two bedroom condo in building two VRBO Listing #612777 Because we live here, we enjoy being a resource to our guests. We can tell you where to find just about anything, including where to fish.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This unit is all about the spectacular million dollar view from the balcony. We completely remodeled and redecorated the entire unit this fall (14). Now the inside is as amazing as the view! You won't find a better family oriented resort anywhere on the beach and when you want a 'couples get-a-way' there isn't a more perfect hide-a-way than Boat Drinks!

Only 20 units at this resort have a similar private view of the beach, but none have the first class accommodations! And only Plantation East guests enjoy a heated indoor pool and hot tub.
