The perfect house in the perfect spot with everything you’ll want for your upcoming vacation!!! Shore Thing Beach House is a very nice 3 bedroom-2 bath house featuring a beautiful 12 x 28 private HEATED swimming pool (November - April. $50 per day), surrounded by a 25 x 40 sun deck. This home offers the best of both worlds. You can spend the day at the beach frolicking in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico & playing in the sand or, if you prefer, you have access to your own private pool. The deck provides awesome views of both Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and is perfect for sun bathing. When you come back from the beach be sure to rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower with both hot & cold water. Morning sunrises to late night talks can be spent on the covered front porch which offers plenty of seating and three rocking chairs. Other amenities include Satellite TV, TV’s & DVD’s in all bedrooms and living room, an outdoor grill and a very well stocked kitchen.

Of the 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed; bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom 3 has a queen & twin size bed. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. Sleeps 9.

Free WIFI, microwave, blender, coffee pot, dishwasher, laundry room.

Must be 25 years of age to rent this home. No smoking and no pets allowed.

We really enjoyed our stayed. The walk to the beach was super easy and convenient. The pool was super nice. Especially with the kids. The house was amazing as well. Clean and well stocked. We definitely will be looking into stay here again.

The unit overall was nice. Wished beach towels were provided. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided. Wished the pool was heated. Water temp was extremely cold. Bed skirt in master bedroom was filthy.

This is absolutely the best property to stay with the beach basically at your front door. I love not having to go up and down stairs to the private pool this place also offers. There are several eateries within a 5 mile radius. It’s a beautifully quiet end of the beach. This house has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation.

The house was perfect front covered deck or back pool deck the ocean was in full view, just beautiful. Had great communication with the host Mick he was absolutely wonderful. House was clean well organized, with all the necessities in the kitchen, just perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores with a short drive if you want to look things over. Close to the ferry we took that across and went and explored Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island. The whole vacation was 10/10. We will be back.

Wonderful week of family relaxation.

We have stayed here for multiple vacations, and usually with a larger group, including younger family members. Check-in and check-outs are so simple and Communication with the owner is easily available. This facility is always clean and provides many essentials. The kitchen has all the cookware needed, and there is an outside grill available. The large front porch provides an excellent view of the beach , which is literally across the street. But the great pool is one of the things that keeps us coming back. Someone is in it constantly. There is also great restaurants and shopping areas close by. Love the place, and we will be returning to enjoy it all again.

Perfect family get away

This home was perfect for our family! The house was very clean and well stocked with all you need. Located just steps from the beach without all the crowd. We saw all sorts of sea life, and tons of dolphins. The front porch was perfect to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the waves. The pool is an added benefit with the kiddos! Mick was an exceptional host!! We will def be staying here on our next visit.

Family Friendly Beach House!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The owner was incredibly friendly and quick to respond when we had a minor issue — it was resolved right away, which we really appreciated. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach — and the views from the front porch were absolutely beautiful. Enjoying our morning coffee while looking out over the scenery was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!

Amazing host/property

This was our second time staying at Mick’s beachview property in Fort Morgan, and it absolutely won’t be our last. The location is everything we love about a beach vacation—peaceful, private, and far from the hustle of big tourist spots like Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, yet still only a quick 15-minute drive if we wanted to grab dinner or check out the shops.The view from the house is breathtaking, and being just steps away from a quiet stretch of beach is something truly special. One of the major highlights for our family is the private heated pool—and yes, it’s actually warm, unlike many places that claim to have heated pools but don’t deliver. It was perfect for relaxing at any time of day.Mick is a fantastic host. He reached out well in advance of our trip, the week before, and even the day of check-in to make sure we had everything we needed. When we noticed a minor issue (a broken chair), he responded right away, apologized, and had someone out to fix it the very next day—keeping us updated the whole time. You can tell he truly cares about his guests' experience.As a family of five adults and two kids, we had plenty of space to spread out, enjoy family game nights, movie time, and just relax. Everything about this home makes it easy to enjoy your time and make lasting memories.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quieter, family-friendly beach getaway. This is the second time we stayed at the property and this time I would rate as just ok. The weather was not the best and we ended up spending a lot more time in the house than before. Our opinion is the condition of the property has declined and it was not as well kept up as before. There was mold on the ceiling in the master bath shower toilet room, and mildew around the deck area and rear entry door. The rear sliding door was very difficult to open and close, specially for our younger children. We had issues with the pool heater not working multiple times and it seemed to coincide when we were looking to use it. Sounds like it was an internet service issue. It was just unfortunate when you pay an extra 50/day. We did appreciate the host paying attention to that. We are several meals in the house and also ran into issues with the refrigerator freezing food even though it was set on a low temp. The master bed was uncomfortable and very noisy, we definitely did not sleep well tossing and turning then waking each other up with the squeaking when we moved, one of the beds upstairs was similar. We love the location, but left feeling disappointed this trip.and probably looking to vacation somewhere different next time.

Shorething was a perfect Spring Break Getaway!

Mick was friendly from the moment I booked and continued to respond quickly when I had any questions. The house was perfect for our family & grandparents. The kids loved the heated pool and the very short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower with hot water is what every beach house is missing! I kept the kids shampoo out there and would go ahead and bathe all three when leaving the beach. Fort Morgan is so peaceful-none of the spring break crowd.

My wife Kim and I have been married for 17 years and like most men….I’ve truly outkicked my coverage in landing her! She’s in the business world and I have been a coach my entire adult life (hence the “outkicked my coverage” remark). We have been vacationing on the Gulf Coast for over 17 years at different spots up and down the “Redneck Riviera”. There’s truly no place like Fort Morgan….so we decided to set up shop here.

Location, location, location!!! If you like the laid back version of beach life then the Fort Morgan area is right up your alley. A solid 15-20 minute ride back into Gulf Shores is far enough to get you away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to still make a day of it without having to drive forever. And if you like being able to spread out away from other folks on the beach, then welcome home. Even in the busy times there’s still plenty of room for everybody to spread out. Not a whole lot of places on the coast that can claim that.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our place is a stones throw from the beach. You can walk from our driveway to the beach access in less than a minutes time (NOT hustling either!). As a result of this proximity, the views are absolutely amazing! And oh by the way, not just from the front porch. The back deck is offset from the house so you can still get a knockout view of the ocean from there as well. And speaking of the back deck, it just happens to have a killer pool sitting right in the middle of it! Few things better in life than spending the day at the beach and watching the sunset from the pool. Come see for yourself!
