Incredible Ocean Views! FULLY RENOVATED W/ ADDITION & ELEVATOR

Newly renovated with addition in 2024!

Located in the heart of Surf City and directly across the street from the beach. Gorgeous views and private beach access. Sip your coffee and watch the sunrise from your deck. In the evening, sip cocktails and watch the sunset with views of the Intercoastal waterway. Ample parking for all guests and outdoor shower! Why rough it at the beach when you could be Livin' the Dream.

Livin' the Dream is a reversed floor plan beach home with sleeping areas on the 1st and 2nd floors and living area on the 2nd floor. On the first floor you will find 4 of the 5 bedrooms, 3 of the 5 bathrooms and laundry. The laundry room has a side by side Speed Queen washer and dryer.

Bedroom One: On the first floor has a King bed, street side/ocean view deck access, private bath, large closet and a TV. Bedroom Two: The middle bedroom, has two twin beds with street side/ocean view deck access. Bedroom Three: Has a Queen bed with street side/ocean view deck access. These two bedrooms share a full bath with shower/tub and dual sinks located across the hall from bedroom two. Bedroom Four: The Bunk Room. Perfect for the kids with built in bunkbeds, 2 twin beds and 2 full beds. This room also has a private bath with shower and single sink and TV.

The 2nd (top) floor has an open concept large living area, kitchen, dining, full bath and an ocean view deck. The kitchen has all upgraded appliances, (Bosch Gas Range and Dishwasher, Frigidaire Refrigerator and GE Microwave) new white Shaker cabinets with a quartz countertop/breakfast bar that seats 4. Two kitchen tables offer ample seating for the whole gang. The kitchen is a U shaped kitchen that opens into the dining and living areas. Just off of the kitchen, on the back of the house, there is a small island view deck with a gas grill.

Living Area: The living area has two separate sitting areas, one with a flat screen TV, and ocean view deck access. The dining area is located just off of the kitchen and living area.
Bedroom Five: The fifth bedroom is off the back of the house and has a King bed, private bath with shower and TV.

The entire house has LVP flooring throughout. Both upper floors can to accessed via elevator. Corn hole boards, oversized Jenga, lots of games and puzzles for family fun!

Fantastic Beach Rental

The renovation was great. The gathering area was perfect for family game nights. Plenty of seating for everyone. The ocean views from the deck were beautiful and the covered deck made it possible to sit out there all day. The kitchen was very well supplied and our cooks really liked the barbecue right off the kitchen. We had a great time and hope to return next year.

Great Family Beach Vacation

This property was excellent. Our family really enjoyed the open living areas upstairs and the great views. The renovations were beautiful and really covered everything you could want. The kitchen was well equipped, the elevator was handy for grandparents, and the proximity to beach access is right across the street. The owner was very attentive and responsive when we contacted her. We would definitely use this house again.

Perfect...Perfect...Perfect!

Our first family vacation at Topsail Island was perfect! We had a wonderful time making memories at this beautifully renovated, spacious home in Surf City. We were honored to be the first guests after the renovation! Kudos to Susan, the owner who pulled out all the stops to create a beautifully warm, comfortable and inviting place where our family of 11 truly felt at home! The new elevator was a huge blessing for sure. The kitchen was one of the most thoughtfully, well appointed we have ever enjoyed in our 20+ years of renting. We love cooking and sharing meals together so the large kitchen and farmhouse table was an added blessing! The house location was really perfect for us and close to everything we needed! The beds were very comfortable and the Great Room living space had plenty of cozy, comfortable seating to chat, play games or enjoy a movie together on the giant TV. We also enjoyed relaxing on the fully furnished decks as we watched the ocean waves tumble. The owner could not have been more helpful, kind and gracious! I would highly recommend this beautiful, clean, well appointed and home to anyone! We will be back Susan!!!!

Living the dream for a week!

This home was absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Our 4 children (24 thru 18) plus my husband and I had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the amazing views and sounds of the ocean! We will be back!

Great house, perfect location!

This house was exactly as described - maybe had even more amenities than advertised! Perfectly located within walking distance of all the businesses in surf city, and sound-side park. The house had lots of rainy day activities, including a great "under-house" area for hanging out and playing cornhole, darts, etc.

Topsail Beach Vacation

An attractive and well-appointed cottage with lovely ocean views. We like the convenient private beach access only steps from the front door. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, plates and glasses. The owner is pleasant and responded quickly to our questions. Excellent property for family vacations.. Our overall rating is definitely 5 stars.

Great family vacation in a lovely beach house

If you are looking for an immaculate, beautiful, well stocked, close to everything beach house, this is it! My husband, son and I had a wonderful and relaxing week at Livin’ the Dream! It might not be oceanfront but you still have beautiful views of the ocean. There is always a breeze on the decks which we took advantage of every morning and evening. You also have access to a private beach access which is just across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The owner, Susan is very pleasant to work with and answered any questions we had in a timely manner.

Best family vacation

The house was amazing. Lots of space for all 10 of us! The decks are great places to hang out and relax. Best place to read a book was the hammock on the lower deck! Beds were very comfortable. I thought it was going to be a hassle to bring our own linens but nope not a problem. There's a rental service if you prefer but not necessary. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a Publix right over the bridge for groceries. We got fresh fish from the market in town and it was amazing. Restaurants were a short walk away. Taco place was by far the best place for us. The beach was incredible. Just a 2 minute walk from the house and you are there ready for the sun and sand. We would go back and forth all day after setting up camp. The house has a lot of stairs, kitchen on the top floor, which would be an issue if you have limited mobility, but we liked it to get our steps in for the day. I would definitely stay again. Surf city is a great place to stay, not crazy busy very relaxing. The local coffee shop/wine bar had live music every night which was fantastic. They are all about the surf there. Bring boogie boards you won't regret it.

Great location; great house

I almost hesitate to write a great review so we have an open week available to rebook next year! The home was a great fit for our 2 families (including teens/tweens who all were comfortable in separate beds). The kitchen was well stocked and the pantry had plenty of room for our snacks! The grill was perfect and the breeze was great for some outdoor dining a few nights. The location was close enough to walk and enjoy the pier, the park, the bridge, and some carry out. We even tried out the e-bikes from Ride TI one sunny afternoon- so fun! Thanks for sharing your home!

Amazing House

Great Family House

Very clean, well equipped for family cooking, games, both indoor and out. Lots of porch furniture for gathering and for just enjoying some chill time. Private beach access diagonal to the house. Plenary of cooking supplies, comfortable beds. Be prepared for the stairs though! Living, cooling, dining space on the this’d floor and no dumb-waiter, so be able-bodied to really enjoy this lovely home. Beautiful views with all rooms facing the ocean!

Love Livin’ the Dream!

We had a fabulous stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the location was perfect. Loved all of the outdoor seating on the decks. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Great family vacation!!

We had a wonderful time in topsail and we truly enjoyed our stay in this home. Easy access to the beach, clean home, great amenities...I can go on! Most of all, the owner of the home was easy to work with. She answered all questions in a timely manner and had everything set for us when we got there! Will definitely consider renting this home again in the future!

Perfect Beach Rental

This house was the perfect rental for the 8 of us. We had 2 families each with 2 kids. It was the perfect set-up for us. Very clean, beautifully decorated and located directly across from the beach. It was so nice to have a private beach access to use. The owner was super nice and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Beautiful Beach House

My family and I fell in love with this beach house as soon as we walked through the door. This house is beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped. The ocean view from the top deck is amazing - it's where we hung out most of the time, especially in the morning with our coffee. Loved the private gate to the beach - kept our area on the beach less congested with crowds. Owner is very friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to your questions. It was our first time visiting Surf City and we loved the area. Beach house location is close to everything - we will be returning next year!

THE PERFECT RENTAL HOUSE!

This house is beautifully decorated and by far the cleanest rental house we have ever stayed in! It looks brand new! The two front decks provide awesome views, so you can still enjoy the ocean and the sun if you have little ones that need midday naps! The house is equipped with EVERYTHING you will need....lots of dishes, plastic storage for leftovers (a whole drawer full), knives and pots and pans. There are tons of games, puzzles and other activities....ping pong, darts and foosball to keep children entertained. And you are so close to everything....local grocery store, restaurants and shops! The beach access is directly across the street and is gated so you don't have big crowds on the beach. The owner was a breeze to work with...We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

My family and I loved the place - clean, roomy, comfortable, easy beach access. The ocean view from the top deck was fantastic - great place for morning coffee or late afternoon margaritas! Plan on staying there again next year.

When we decided to buy a house in Topsail, we looked and looked for the perfect spot. We found it in Livin' the Dream.
The house was built in 2013, has all new appliances and amenities. The three decks offer amazing water views of both the ocean and the intercoastal waterway. Beach access is just steps away. The house has been perfect for our family as everyone can come and go as they please. We hope that you and your family enjoy it as much as we have!
