The perfect example of modern Southern style; this upper level duplex is a testament to relaxation and comfort away from the stresses of the real world. Only two homes back from the ocean; sit on your deck and enjoy the fantastic ocean views or enjoy a stroll to Johnny Mercer's Pier.

This home has a king bed in the master bedroom, along with a full private bath. In the first guest bedroom you have a queen bed, and in the second guest bedroom there are two pyramid bunk beds. In the living room you will find a sleeper sofa. There is a full bathroom that the two guest bedrooms share. The living room, dining area, and kitchen all dace the spacious open deck. This home has plenty of room for the whole family, and will feel like your owner personal beach house!

Great location, easy walk to the beach. Really enjoyed the rooftop deck for family dinner at sunset. Had trouble with one of the drains/water pressure, took a day to get that fixed.

While we enjoyed the location and convenience of this property, there are a few issues we wanted to make note of. -Upon arrival we noticed a faint sewage smell throughout the unit. It seems to be the strongest in the kitchen and bathrooms. There was also mold around the vents in each bedroom. -We could not get the dishwasher to turn on all weekend. We were able to hand wash everything but this was inconvenient considering the number of people we had. -There was one trash bag and two rolls of toilet paper. For a property that holds 10 people, it would have been helpful to know this beforehand so we could plan accordingly. -The bathroom off the main hallway had a clogged shower drain which caused the tub to fill up during each use.

wonderful stay

A few minor maintenance issues need to be addressed (slow dryer, cracked microwave door, dripping sink). Otherwise, highly recommended.

1st Wrightsville Beach trip

Areas in need of improvement: Several lights out, replaced bulbs with some I bought and some that were there, apparently this happens a lot there. Some did not work. Sofa needs cleaning. Mold around air registers, ducts probably need good cleaning. Water pressure low. Crazy barn door arrangement on shared bathroom between master and kid bedroom, no privacy. The Good: Excellent location, easy access to beach and can see from the house. Also good location on island, access roads, trails, restaurants. Overall clean and updated furnishings and floors. Quiet neighborhood.

TV's in bedrooms did not work, 2 were intimately fixed. Three (3) electrical outlets in the kitchen / island did not work. Refrigerator and lights above island and table were greasy and dusty. furniture and living room rug are old and stained; they seemed to be clean. Rocking chair on front deck was broken. Empty five (5) gallon water bottle in the corner.

Love Wrightsville Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have have the pleasure of staying in the Low Tide house ( just below) on several occasions. This unit (High Tide) was a bit different. Great view to the water for sure. Inside was relatively clean but needs a bit of work. Many chairs on the porch not usable. Nothing much more substantial.. just needs a little TLC. Nice big bedrooms and great bunks for the kids. The widows walk is always fabulous for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets.

Great Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at High Tide Great View. The location was perfect, making it easy for us to get back and forth to the beach and anywhere else we needed to go. The house was in good shape overall. Just a few things that could be fixed... The refrigerator slammed into the stove every time we opened it though, which was annoying. The bunk bedroom smelled strongly of mildew... The king bedroom mattress was very saggy and uncomfortable. When we stripped the bed upon checkout, we saw disgusting stains on the mattress, and now it's obvious why it sagged so much.

Great Rental, Terrible Experience with Intracoastal Realty

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The High Tide rental itself is great: clean, cute decor, super close to the beach and walkable to restaurants and bars. I had a terrible experience with Intracoastal Realty though. The guy who I made the reservation with over the phone told me linens were included with my rental for 12 people. Then 2 days before my group was supposed to check in and I had already gotten everyone to pay me back, someone from Intracoastal calls me and tells me that the guy I made my reservation was new and got it wrong: linens are NOT included in my rental. I asked them to honor what the guy told me originally since it was so last minute and I had already gotten everyone to pay me back for the rental without including the rental fees and they refused, so I ended up having to front the $221 myself. The kicker is that I show up to the rental after checking in and there are no linens – no sheets on any of the beds and no towels. I arrived at the rental after Intracoastal's office had closed, so I left a voicemail on their emergency line and another number but no one called me back. Oh and by the way, they have like 15 different phone numbers so it is hard to get a hold of anyone in their office, let alone know what office you're calling. So all 12 of us had to sleep on top of our bedspreads that first night and couldn't take showers. When I finally reached someone in the IR office the following morning, the woman I spoke with apologized once but seemed more annoyed at me for letting my group sleep on top of the bedspreads - even though we had no choice! One of the managers called me later that day trying to figure out which of the many phone lines I‘d left messages on so they could figure out why no one called me back, but the fact that he didn't even know made it all the more frustrating. All in all, it was a good place to stay, but Intracoastal Realty is a terrible rental company and I would go out of my way not to have to deal with them again while in Wrightsville Beach.

Great stay!

Prefect location and so close to everything. Very clean house! The only issue we had was we never received check in information with door code even after 4 pm so we had to call the office for that information. Other than that very minor inconvenience I highly highly recommend!

Great location, nice size but getting a bit old

While it is a hop, skip and jump from beach with nice size rooms, decent kitchen and plenty of parking, the house is starting to look old inside. There are various rooms with peeling paint or furniture. The bathroom attached to the master is way over due for an upgrade.The porch could use some work but it’s a beautiful spot to sit and listen to the ocean first thing in the morning or just before bed at night.The layout is very nice and the garage fits 2 cars. The outdoor shower was an great extra!!

Good view

It was fine. Some mattresses need to be replaced. Refrigerator water dispenser didn’t work but was repaired within a day. It was the only source of drinkable water.

Location of the home really can’t be beat. The home was clean when we arrived but the owners have some projects to do in order to get this unit in great condition. A Much Needed Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful house, steps away from the beach access. The view from our upper unit porch and the widow's walk was lovely. The main bathroom needs a little TLC; the water pressure is very low in the shower, and the showerhead needs replacing. I would suggest a hand-held showerhead; the current one does not adjust at all (a problem for the taller family members). Also, the addition of a grab-bar and anti-slip treatment in the tub would add security. The kitchen was well equipped (the Kuerig was a surprise, we brought our own!). The water dispenser on the fridge doesn't function, but the icemaker does. We did purchase a dish drain for those small loads and baby bottle/feeding equipment (We left that there for future renters). The refrigerator door swings open quickly and bumps the drawer handle, that could use adjustment or bumper. Since our adult son didn't wish to share the bunkbed room with a toddler, he slept on the pullout couch in the living room...he didn't sleep much, as it was quite uncomfortable. The rest of the week, he slept on the closed couch, which was a bit better. Thankful for a porch full of rockers, although one needs a repair of an arm. The parking access was very good, we could accommodate our cars and a guest vehicle. Loved the outdoor showers and also appreciated the hose for rinsing kids and equipment! Given the Coronavirus situation, we didn't do our ususal activities (aquarium, Southport Ferry, Cotton Exchange, etc) but we did some outdoor dining at Poe's Tavern, Mellow Mushroom and Slainte. Did pickup from Sweet and Savory, Kohl's, Trolly Stop, Salt Works and Boombalotti's. More information for renters new to WB regarding the recycling system would help, I think. We were grateful to get the house code a little earlier than 4:00 since the car with the 1 year old and 4 year old arrived a bit before schedule and needed to get out of their carseats! Overall, we had a great time staying in this house and would consider it again.

Great Location for our needs

Ian brought us a master key so we did finally get in before midnight. Two of the TV’s were not hooked up to the cable and the fan in the Queen size bed room does not work. Kitchen had great appliances and dishes. Just needs some TLC

Great vacation in a great house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family spent a great week here. This house allowed us to have everyone in one location and what a great location it was. The house allowed 4 couples, 2 singles and 7 kids to spend the perfect beach vacation all together. We never felt crowded and always had everything and then some in this house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything for cooking. The house came with an excellent amount of linens and the outside showers with hot water came in handy when the kids came up from the beach. Garage was broken the first day but the superintendent came and gave us access and put in a ticket to have it fixed. The garage gave us plenty of room to park our four vehicles. The only negatives that we have is that the beds gave everyone backaches, water pressure was very weak (even when only 1 shower was running) and furniture is a little dated. The location of the property is a walk from some locations but not anything that couldn't be completed within 15-20 mins. If you have smaller kids bring strollers as it might be too far for them. The pier is within walking distance no problem for children.

We walked or rode bikes everywhere. Unit had everything we needed and we appreciated the garage being stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all the essentials, AC was cold and neighbors were quiet. We even reserved it for next year!

Loved High Tide

The place is a bit in need of a furniture update but still really nice. The only negative we had was the master bed was too soft for a bad back.
