Experience "Bumbles Beach" with spectacular, unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean from this 5 bedroom, 4 bath ocean front home! Enjoy waking up and having your morning beverage from your covered deck or on the dune front sitting area along your private beach access walkway to the Atlantic! This Ocean Front Beach Home is well equipped and nicely furnished. Newer appliances, sofa's and mattresses. 2 Queen bedrooms on first level, each with 1 Twin bed and private baths. 3 bedrooms upstairs include 1 Ocean Front King with private bath. 1 Ocean Front Queen bedroom and another bedroom offers 2 Twin beds with shared bath. All bedrooms upstairs have ocean view windows. The open living and kitchen areas boast tons of light with large ocean facing windows to take in the island views. There is a convenient powder room off the main living area. An additional family room area upstairs is complete with TV and Queen pullout sofa. Private shaded parking underneath home with a hot/cold enclosed outside shower area. Beach life doesn't get any better than this beachfront home on the quiet West End of Holden Beach!

We loved our stay in this lovely home. I enjoy preparing food and it was a pleasure to find most everything needed. We will return.

Great beach vacation!

We had a wonderful experience at this home on Holden Beach. Everything was clean and true to pictures. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was sufficiently stocked. We cook all our meals and found everything we needed. We had 9 adults 3 small children. We did have an extra guest one night and the pull out sofa is not really suitable to sleep on, the mattress part is just way too thin. Luckily, we had an air mattress and there was plenty of space to accommodate it! We visit holden beach almost every year and this was a really nice rental.

Not as expected

The house had plenty of space for our extended family and the location on the water was nice, but there were many items that were broken or not up to what we’d expect from a house at this price point. We would not stay there again as there are many better options for the same price that are in far better condition. 1. The rental company ahs a policy that all dishes must be put away before checking out and not left in the dishwasher. Probably as a result of this, most of the dishes/utensils etc. we pulled from the cabinets and drawers were dirty and had to be washed before use. 2. The ice maker was not working, it tried to put out a few cubes every hour or so but needs repair. We bought our own ice 3. The chairs on the upper (bedroom) decks, all two of them, were broken and could not be used wo we could not sit out of this deck to enjoy the ocean view. 4. Most of the windows in the house are broken and do not stay open. We were able to get a few on the street side to stay open but most of the screens are ripped and let the insects in. One of the reasons we pay to stay on the ocean is to be able to sleep at night with the windows open to hear the ocean, we could not do that since the windows would not stay open. This needs to be addressed. 5. One of the twin box springs in the upstairs bedroom was flipped over, so when we tried to use the bed our son and the mattress fell into the box spring.

Wonderful Time!

It was a great week that included SeaTurtles hatching right in front of the house, dolphins joyfully swimming by as we gathered on the deck, sand castles and hours in the beautiful ocean. We had delicious meal around the big table, we played games, reconnected with each other and oh, how we laughed!! The big plus was how close we were to the water. No long and hot journeys to the beach. It was right there. Thanks for sharing your home. The Proactive team was great!

great vacay at Bumbles

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bumbles! The house was beautiful & perfect for 8 adults + 2 babies. The only things we missed were a gas grill & blackout shades — it’s quite bright when you’re beachfront. Already planning for our 2023 beach week!

Bumble’s beach created a great place to make memories

We loved our stay at Bumble’s Beach. It was a nice quiet location with private beach access. It is a beautiful property and we would definitely stay again! We had an issue with the AC but they very quickly remedied the issue and we had no additional problems! Thank you for being part of our family’s special trip!

Great location

Overall it was a great spot! The beach was great, the neighbors friendly and even the weather cooperated. The house was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Some of the furniture such as the outside rocking chairs and the large kitchen table were in need of some love/upkeep. We did have some issues with the washing machine not working. They replaced it within 2 days. When we look for a house to rent a washing machine is a top priority so losing it for 1/3 of our stay was incredibly annoying. Our outside trash can mysteriously disappeared after the first day as well and that took another 2 days for someone to even respond to me about replacing it so we didn’t have that for most of our stay. Overall the house was good but the response time from the management company was less than ideal.

Holden Beach

Bumble's Beach was a great house with plenty of space. There were ten people in the house for most of the week and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The kitchen was one of the best stocked that I have ever seen. But the best was the outside shower, top notch. If I ever need a house that large again I would definitely rent again.

Upon arrival we were very pleased with the house. When we raised the window blinds we were delighted with the view of the ocean and the sandy beach. We had a few questions and requests for PROACTIVE Rentals and true to their name they were very "proactive" and quickly took care of our needs. FYI - We just needed an empty trash barrel to use until the next trash pick-up. The week's weather was lovely until Tropical Storm Hermine rolled through on our last full day in the house. Even the storm proved to be enjoyable as it created a day indoors while watching the ocean churn and the wind blow. Again, PROACTIVE was on the property to turn over all the deck furniture for safety purposes. We were very comfortable. First trip to Holden Beach in 8 years, we love the peaceful low key lifestyle. Thank you!

Great Beach House!

What matters most to my family in a beach house is that it’s clean, has comfortable beds, has furniture that isn’t stained, has a nice porch with rocking chairs and has a separate living area for the kids to play in when they aren’t on the beach. This house had all of the above! We loved that it was really clean! You must have a great cleaning crew! The furniture was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the sofa bed, but it looked new. We loved the porch with rocking chairs and benches, and it was so convenient to have a deck off of the boardwalk to the beach where we could drop our chairs and beach toys without having to lug them all the way back to the house. The only negative, which really didn’t bother us but thought I’d mention to be honest, is that the kitchen showed some wear and tear in the countertops, appliances and dishes. But it was very well equipped, and I’m sure it’s on the list for some renovations. We would definitely recommend it to our friends!
