Upon arrival, you will find the Hide-Away nestled at the rear of the property. A paver pathway will lead to a cozy, fenced outdoor living area that's complete with lounge chairs, a dining area, and a grill—perfect for relaxation.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable sleeping area equipped with a queen-size bed, chair, and an internet-enabled TV with WiFi for your entertainment. The recently remodeled bathroom offers a convenient step-in shower and updated fixtures.

The eat-in kitchen is well-appointed with a standard-size stove and oven, microwave, and refrigerator, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. The tiled floors, complemented by cozy rugs, create a welcoming atmosphere. Additional amenities include an in-wall AC unit, ceiling fans, a Dresser, and closet space for your convenience. (Please note: there are no laundry machines on-site.)

This property is ideally located just one block from the beach, directly east of the Lido Beach Resort, which boasts three delightful restaurants. A public beach and pool are just down Garfield Drive. A five-minute stroll will lead you to St. Armand's Circle, while a short two-mile walk or drive over the bridge brings you to the mainland, Marina Jack',s and the vibrant Downtown Sarasota.

Beach Retreat

This is a cozy studio with everything you will need to feel at home. There is a great outdoor patio area for extended living space. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were very helpful and informative. It is only 2 short blocks to walk to the beach. We also enjoyed walking around the shops and restaurants in St Armand’s Circle. I’d love to stay here again.

Right near Lido Beach

We had a wonderful time enjoying the warm temps, walking the the beach, kayaking in the mangroves and shopping St Armand’s Circle. This little gem has a lovely private outdoor living space. Everything we needed on-site.

Quiet and convenient

This property is as advertised. It is very close to the beach, which was not crowded. It is also within walking distance to St. Armand’s circle. The neighborhood is very quiet and the everything in the unit was in great shape. The private courtyard is a nice bonus. Would stay here again.

Beautifully laid out apartment for 2 adults and our little doggie. Camille and her husband where there for us with any need we had. Close to beach and Armond's circle. Soup to nuts.... everything was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Perfectly Delightful

It’s mud season in the high rockies. My family lives in Sarasota and I needed the beach. This location was perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and walking with my dog. It was very comfortable with everything I needed and even thoughtful things only a dog owner would provide. It’s my new Gramma Getaway. Camille is charming and attentive.

Great cozy cottage 1 block from Lido Beach

The 3 of us (my wife and I and our dog) spent 2 weeks here and loved it. The inside is small but very functional and suited us just fine. But the large, private fenced yard extends the space and is great for lounging and eating in the beautiful weather we had. The cottage is very nicely decorated with most everything you’d need to make use of the full kitchen and so many thoughtful touches inside and out, including good beach chairs and umbrella and bicycles. The location is great, a block in from the beach and pavilion area but it is always very quiet and peaceful. The owners are charming and while they live on the property the layout is such that it’s totally private and you’d never know they’re there unless you have a question or need something. We’ll be coming back!

Simple and close to the beach

The location of this rental is wonderful. We were close to the beach and could walk to restaurants and coffee shops. We didn't expect any frills with the rental, but unfortunately we didn't sleep well either. The window air unit, while effective at cooling the room. It was really loud when it kicked on and off. The fan was noisy as well, so were not sleeping well. Otherwise, the rental was what we needed for our three night stay. Note that the shower and bathroom are tiny. Manageable but tight quarters.

I don't know who has been giving this such high ratings, as I give it a 3.0. The important items are fine like a great location, it was very clean, and very quiet. BUT, it is so small that there is no place to sit other than on the bed or a couple of wooden chairs, it is too small for a couch. Everything was very tired with no significant money having been invested in at least 20 years. As examples, even small things like the kitchen towels looked dirty but were just plain old or the bikes had rust on them as did the shower curtain hooks. How about some fresh curtains, or a new bed spread, and some fresh paint to brighten the place? I liked the small kitchen but just too small and tired for the price.

Great! Intimate spot near the beach and St. Armand's circle

Great little property. Perfect for a couple. The hosts provided great communication and details. We also really loved the little backyard. The little electric torches around the patio were a nice touch. It is a perfect location. One block away from Lido Beach and about a 10-minute walk to St. Armand circle. It was clean, quiet and has everything you need for a nice getaway including a full kitchen. We will definitely consider returning when we come back to the area.

Overview review

Property had great location, 5 minute drive to restaurants and beach. Ac cooled room very well. Outdoor patio bqq area is nice however were not able to use due to heat in summer months. Kitchen is very functional however, it currently need vents installed in the top area of the seperating wall in order to allow cool air from ac to enter into this hot area even though it has a ceiling fan. Shower opening dimensions needs to be opened or widened a minimum of 4 to 6 inches on each side ( spacing is readily available )in order to allow large size adults easy entry / egress. Also please consider moving the bed 6 or 8 inches further away from wall by eliminating or relocating small end table in order to allow easier access to bed. Providing a wall mounted for guests would be welcomed which can easily be achieved by relocating existing dresser cabinet to another wall and table for suitcases swapped. Despite the minor inconvient deficiencies existing we would stay again in the future.

I met a couple on the beach that stayed in this unit prior to my buying it. They described it as one of there happiest times. Lido Key is a friendly place to visit and live and there are no strangers. This suite located at the back of my house has a private entrance and yard, not big enough for more than two people and one four legged friend. In Real Estate you learn very quickly Location, Location, Location that is why I live here. Most everything is a matter of minutes away and Sarasota road system is very logical and easy to get around. Bicycles are available for your use as is a Outdoor Grill and beach chairs. You will have a parking spot off the road a Laundry Room that we share. Sunsets are spectacular and St. Armand Circle shopping and dinning is a dream.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I love dogs and have a Miniature Schnauzer that is brilliant of course. The property has a 3' high metal fence with gate. The Blvd of the Presidents is a lovely place to walk dogs with poop bags provided and trash bins. Dogs are even welcome down on the Circle in most shops and outdoor dining restaurants.
The past two annual renters to stay here have purchased a property from me.
If you are interested in your own piece of paradise and you purchase property from me within 12 months, I will credit you one-week rental at closing.
