Aloha, and welcome to the virtual version of Lokelani C205, a vacation rental condo located on the beautiful West Maui coast. It's not the same as being there - hearing the ocean throughout your living space, seeing your 'morning whale' as you sip coffee on your lanai, or walking just a few feet outside to see honu (turtles) swimming and basking in the sun on your own stretch of beach. Regardless, we welcome you here as our guest just as we would be glad to welcome you into our Maui home.

Lokelani, which means ā€œBeautiful Roseā€ in Hawaiian, is a West Maui vacation rental that truly lives up to its name. Snorkel with the turtles, watch whales & breathtaking Hawaiian sunsets from your two spacious lanais and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the Pacific in your oceanfront two bedroom town home-style condo.

Lokelani #C205 has been completely remodeled. It is a luxurious two bedroom/two bath unit with both the living room and master bedroom having direct ocean front lanais. This unit is a town home type unit with the kitchen, dining area, washer/dryer, full bath, living room and direct ocean front lanai downstairs. Upstairs you will find a full bath and both bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own direct ocean front lanai with panoramic views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. A split air conditioning system with units in both bedrooms keeps you cool in the warmer months. Flat screen TV's and DVD players in living room and master bedroom entertain.

This unit is nicely equipped with everything except food and clothing. On the days you don't feel like dining out in one of the many great restaurants nearby, our kitchen has all the utensils, cookware, and dinnerware you'll need. You can watch the sunset while eating dinner out on the lanai, or if on the rarest of occasions the weather isn't perfect, there is also an inside dining table.

We are located just a few miles north of downtown Lahaina and historic Front Street. We are in a quiet residential neighborhood and we are off the main street to insure a peaceful stay. You will not want to leave our beautiful Maui home of Lokelani C205, but you'll definitely want to come back!

Host was very nice. The only thing and this is abnormal. We had a power outage for almost 24 hrs. And the emergency lighting left in condo was old and did not work. I understand this was extraordinary circumstances. The only other thing was the beach chairs left for renters are almost completely unusable. old and broken. We ended up renting chairs.

Great Location, Great views!

We really enjoyed staying here and the location can't be beat. The beach was always available during our stay. Turtles came up on shore and whales could be seen from the balcony. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to prepare meals.

Great location and host!

Condo is in a great locationā€¦able to walk right out to the beach. Swimming and sunbathing with the sea turtles (at a distance, of course) was the best! The host was very responsive and patient with my questions, which I really appreciated. We would love to stay here again!

Best Air-Conditioned Condo with Sandy Beach and Turtles

Our Host was the most helpful and accomodating I have ever stayed with. The condo has everything you need, we cooked everyday and as I was on a studycation I spent 10 days sitting on the lanai or in the house watching the turtles swim by. Location is everything. Book here!

We really enjoyed the time at the condo (C205). It was just a really nice place to stay. Most of our 3 weeks was just my wife and I, but my daughter and her husband joined for a week. The kitchen was spacious and the sleeping and living areas were great. We appreciated Kevin communicating with us so easily as the time approached.

Outstanding view!

My husband and I loved staying at this condo. The view from downstairs and the master bedroom is absolutely gorgeous and the unit felt bigger than it appeared online. We appreciated having a dedicated parking space, available beach chairs, and the ice packs to use in our travel cooler. The complex is small, private, in a great location, and we found the residents to be very friendly. We couldnā€™t have been more pleased with our stay!

Great Stay!

Our first time in Hawaii, and this little condo was great. Not far at all from Lahaina town, and Ka'anipali area, plus there are good shops, restaurants, and the food truck area right there in Honowakai in walking distance. Very private. Nice having the little beach, although it was fairly rocky offshore. Great sunset views from both balconies. Saw a turtle on our beach one morning. Plenty of space for our family to spread out.

Lovely condo and stunning location

This condo was the perfect fit for our family of four. Master bedroom was amazing with its own balcony to watch whales and stars. Condo has a pool which was nice if the wind picked up on the beach side. Some days the beach was mellow and perfect for snorkeling, other days the beach was perfect for boogie boarding. The condo was close to many amenities (coffee shop, public park, farmers market, good food). Highly recommended.

This unit has everything you need, My wife, my 4 year old son and I just returned from Maui last weekend and we canā€™t think of a single thing this place doesnā€™t have. The beach was amazing and just steps away, it has both a sandy beach area and a rocky area that is perfect for snorkeling or scuba diving, we saw over 10 sea turtles in a single afternoon. The sunsets from the Leni as we ate dinner was a daily event for us. There are great restaurants, grocery store and shops only a 5 minute walk down the road. We will be returning / re-renting next year.

Probably one of my most favorite VRBOā€™s Iā€™ve stayed at in Maui!!!! The margarita machine rocked. We loved all of the ocean toys. We appreciate having extra towels as well. The view off the one I was incredible and we spent so much time out there in the evenings enjoying the night. We were close to everything that we needed to get to including groceries or excursions or some of the best beaches around. I highly recommend staying here and would probably come back again

Gorgeous beachfront vacation condo

My family and I spent an incredible winter break holiday weekend at this property. We were stunned by the ocean views with turtles coming to shore every afternoon onto the condo's private beaches. The beaches are quiet, calm and secluded which is a bonus. The rental property was clean, comfortable and well stocked for visitors of all ages. Kevin was hospitable and great at coordinating our travel needs. We could also walk to many little stores which was fun. We would highly recommend this spot and be grateful to visit again. We have great memories from our stay and are still grinning in March from our December trip. THANK YOU!

Too nice to make public.

This 2-story condo is a hidden gem! Spacious, comfortable, great artwork and well-equipped kitchen. All this plus an oceanfront location with "turtled" beach and spectacular views of Molokai and Lanai (even Oahu on a clear day). It's off the street location makes for great privacy but shopping and seaside parks are easily accessible by foot or car. I could say more but don't want the world beating down the landlord's door and make it difficult for my wife and I to return.

Can't say enough good things about this host!

We loved being right above the ocean--sound and sights were amazing. Great small beach access. Kevin was very helpful in all the pre-check-in details that helped us know what was available in the unit. Because of some unexpected things on our end, we had to cut our visit short. Kevin was so kind and understanding and really went the extra mile to not make it difficult for us to leave. Lots of extras made the unit welcoming, from coffee awaiting us to beach equipment and ideas for things to do on the island. He is a great host and lives out the aloha spirit.

Amazing Place, beautiful Views!

This was an absolute delight of a rental property. We loved ever minute of it. You have a quiet location, small community pool, beach access, the most stunning sunsets. While adjusting to the time difference, I woke up in the middle of the night a few times, and just sat on the back patio, gazing and the amazing starry night - you don't get to see that many stars where I'm from! It was perfect. The kitchen was stocked nicely, so we had our morning coffee and prepared several meals of our own. I felt safe taking a jog by myself around the area in the mornings, as there were other friendly folks out for a morning stroll and good sidewalks.

Excellent condo on the water front

The unit was clean. The kitchen was pretty well stock (missing good pans like most rentals). The pictures are accurate and with the lower level and the upper level lani's you have the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Maui. Lots of whales to see. Close to grocery store and restaurants. I'd recommend this unit. Only negative is once in a while someone else was smoking and we could smell it in the unit. Not much you do about that in this type of enviroment....condos. Excellent stay.

Amazing Condo!

I highly recommend this condo, and will be coming back for sure! My family and I stayed here for 7 days and were so sad to leave. The condo had everything a family of 5 could need for a whole week and then some. We enjoyed BBQing out by the water, cooking breakfast in the nicely stocked kitchen, and sipping a cup of fresh brewed coffee on either one of our 2 lenai's. The view from both the upstairs and downstairs lenai's were breathtaking! I honestly can't recommend this property more. Our first experience on the island was in 2012 when my Husband and I came alone and stayed at the Ritz Carlton (which we have no complaints, and would recommend as well), however this time we brought our 3 kids, (ages 6, 12, and, 13), and knew that we needed a more laid back homey place to stay that could accommodate everyone's needs. This condo was our answer! Everyone had their own space and everything we needed. My husband and I are planning a trip back (alone) later this summer and are already planning on staying here again.

Maui is a special place. On our first visit many years ago, we immediately knew that we had found us a home. Maybe not a year-round home, but a place so welcoming that returning after an absence makes you feel as though you'd never left. Maybe it's the weather, or the ocean views, lush interior landscapes, snow-topped Haleakala (yes, snow), or abundant sea life. Or the people. Of course, it's all of those. And more.

The memories: grabbing onto the tentpoles of a roadside food stand outside Hana as a blast of wind threatened to take the the whole thing away, while puppies ran and yipped around our feet; running into and chatting with the artist Wyland in a book shop, and being invited to the Christmas party at his Lahaina gallery that same evening; cooking tuna on a grill as the sun slipped below the horizon while I drank the best glass of wine of my lifeā€¦

Why did we want to own property in Maui? Why would you not.

P.S., and full disclosure: the photo above was from our first Hawaiian trip (number redacted) years and many trips ago. Be aware, once you've spent any time here, you will want to come back again, and again, and again...

It is hard not to find a beautiful spot in Maui. We favor the west side - not that there is anything wrong with the south, Hana or any other Maui locale. Some of our favorites include Napili Bay, dining beachside in Kaanapali, playing golf in Kapalua, and wandering Front Street in Lahaina. We encourage you to go to all of these places, and many others.

There is something different about Lokelani, though. There are larger resorts - in fact, probably few are smaller than Lokelani. Many have multiple pools, workout rooms, salons and built-in restaurants. If that's what you're looking for, we can make some recommendations. But if you want to get away from it all, live like a local, then Lokelani may be your place. You can easily get to the beaches of Kaanapali and elsewhere for a visit, but afterward (and before) you can relax on your own secluded beach, or in the comfort of your oceanfront lanai. Maybe - just, maybe - it's as good elsewhere, but it doesn't get any better than this...
