Cozy Cottage - 14 Mi. S. of Indianapolis in the Greenwood/Bargersville Area

Relax and unwind in this spacious three bedroom, one bath ranch home situated on one acre. There are four beds that can accommodate up to six guests. The house is situated in Bargersville, Indiana on the edge of Greenwood located in the Center Grove School District. It is located about 14 miles south of Monument Circle in Downtown Indianapolis via Meridian Avenue, which changes to State Road 135. The Cozy Cottage is a great home to relax after going to your convention or event in Downtown Indy offering a cozy home atmosphere for your visit to the Indianapolis area. Check in time is 3:00 PM EST. Checkout is 11:00 AM EST.

This 1700 square foot home has charm and character with a tree filled backyard situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded be newer development. This home is one of the original homesteads in the area. This home can be rented for same day reservations, if available and accommodates business travelers. We live about 1/4 of a mile away if you need assistance or have questions.

There is a Vivint Sky Control 3.0 security system and key less entry, and will give you your own unique code. This system has a doorbell camera and we can assist through that if needed. We are usually working, If you would like us to meet we can try to coordinate that. Please google Vivint Sky Control 3.0 for futher capabilities of the system. The house is easy to use and either me or my husband will be there if you need anything. There is a manual on the entry table with information about the house.

The home has a circular driveway that will hold 4-5 cars if you have someone visiting while you are staying here. The circular driveway gives you easy access on to Smokey Row Road. There is a intersection at State Road 135 and Smokey Row Road with turning lanes and stoplights. There is no public bus transportation. Indianapolis airport is 22 miles from the home.

All TV's have an 80 mile antenna installed in the attic. There are two bedrooms with queen beds that have cozy, warm bedding for the winter season and summer bedding for the warmer months. There is a luggage rack in each of these closets. The bedrooms have WIFI Smart TV's and also an antenna for local TV. There is a folding crib that is standard size.

There is a room off the kitchen that is the third bedroom that has two twin beds. The two twins can be made into a King Size bed.Please let me know what bedding you prefer to have, and I will have it prepared. This room also has access to the backyard.

There is one twin extra long size foldaway beds with memory foam.

There are extra blankets and sheets in the walk in closet. There are plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom.

Please note: If you would like baby/toddler items please let us know. There is a dream on me folding crib. I have bedding for the crib in a tote and set up before arrival.

The living room has a gas fireplace and is connected to a family room and dining room combination. Seating for those rooms are as shown in the listing pictures. The WIFI TV in the Family Room/Dining Room has

There is wireless internet available and the password is on the desk. There also is Netflix and HULU.

There are plenty of dishes, pots and bake ware and utensils available. The kitchen is equipped with a range/oven, microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen essentials along with a toaster, Keurig coffee machine.

Outside there is a gas grill and charcoal grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating including three dining areas and other relaxing areas in the yard.

I set a flower and veggie garden on about 1/3 of the acre for enjoyment. There is also a pergola that we built in the Summer of 2015 and seating in the garden.

There are 2 carbon monoxide /smoke/fire detectors, one in the dining room and one in the bedroom off the kitchen. A smoke/fire detector in the hallway by the 2 bedroom and kitchen A carbon monoxide detector is in the furnace area, those are monitored by the Vivint Home Security system.

If you choose to have a small fire in our fire pit please be responsible and attend it until it is burned out.

People ask me often, 'Where is Bargersville?' Bargersville has been around since 1850 and is 4.93 square miles. The city continues to grow and is part of the Center Grove School district. This house is at the northern edge of Bargersville off of SR 135 about 14 miles directly south of Downtown Indianapolis which makes it convenient when coming to this area for events. From downtown you pass Greenwood which has major retailers and dining and shopping is less than a mile away.
