3909 S. Nesmith Ave. LAKEFRONT COTTAGE LOCATED ON A PRIVATE LANE. VERY CLOSE TO INTERSTATE 86 AND THE VETERANS MEMORIAL BRIDGE WHICH TRAVERSES CHAUTAUQUA LAKE. THERE IS PARKING FOR UP TO 6 VEHICLES. THE LOT IS ROOMY WITH SEVERAL TREES, YET LOTS OF SUN SPACE. THERE IS A PRIVATE DOCK AND UP TO THREE BOATS MAY BE MOORED. THE HOUSE IS TWO STORIES WITH 2 BATHS, ONE ON EACH FLOOR. THE UPSTAIRS BATH IS VERY INTERESTING - OLD FASHIONED SKIRTED TUB, EXPOSED CHIMNEY AND A SEWING MACHINE CABINET FOR A VANITY. 4 BEDROOMS(all on the second story): SERENITY - PLUM AND GREY, DOUBLE BED. NAUTICAL - 2 DOUBLE BEDS, BLUE AND WHITE WITH NAUTICAL DECOR. FLORA - GREEN AND CREAM, ANTIQUE DOUBLE BED. SUNNY - KING SIZE DOUBLE BED, YELLOW AND GREY. THE LARGE LANDING AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS HAS BUNK BEDS. THERE IS A LARGE MUD ROOM WITH A WASHER AND DRYER. NICE SIZE LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS. CABLE TV, WiFi AND STEREO. ROOMY PORCH WITH FULL VIEW OF THE LAKE THROUGH IT'S MANY WINDOWS - REMODELED IN 2019. KITCHEN WAS REMODELED IN 2017 AND DESIGNED AROUND A VINTAGE GAS STOVE/OVEN. ALSO HAS MICROWAVE, COFFEE MAKER, TOASTER, CROCKPOT AND BASIC KITCHEN SUPPLIES. WHOLE HOUSE FURNACE AND CENTRAL AIRCONDITIONING INSTALLED IN THE WINTER OF 2020. OUTSIDE ARE PICNIC TABLES AND A NATURAL GAS GRILL WITH AN AWNING OVER PATIO AREA. THERE IS A FIRE PIT. ALSO FOR GUEST USE ARE 5 VINTAGE-STYLE BICYCLES AND 2 KAYAKS , 1 CANOE. PONTOON BOAT AVAILABLE FOR RENT.
***PLEASE NOTE - IN JULY 2023, EXTENDED REPAIRS BEGAN ON THE BRIDGE AND IS CONTINUING UNTIL OCTOBER 2026. EXPECT LANE CLOSURES AND CONSTRUCTION NOISE. THE BRIDGE WILL NOT BE CLOSED DURING THIS TIME. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING IN ADVANCE.

House was beautifully decorated and clean. Loved all the antique features. Property was perfectly located on the lake with an awesome outside gathering place for a fire.

Properly is very nice. Just a few things that weren’t up to par. We asked about the dock being in when we made the reservation, the dock was not installed. And most of the beds had dog hair on the sheets and pillows. And some stains on the under bedding.

Wonderful week! Close to everything in Bemus Point!

This was our family’s third time staying here and, as usual, did not disappoint. Everything was excellent - very clean property, lots to do, and beautiful home! We hope to be back next year!

Great property great Owner.

It was a great place to stay. Has a pontoon boat for rental right at the dock. Just ran up for a weekend to go fishing and had a great time. The owner was very helpful and available if you need anything. Already planning my next trip off.

Amazing place in a great location. Loved the lake, the fire outside, nearby Bemus Point, and the Midway Park. We also went to Niagra Falls! House was nice, roomy, and clean!

Wedding weekend

The cottage was just what I hoped ! So much character and great location . We were in town just for the weekend for a wedding so sadly we didn’t get to enjoy the town and cottage to the fullest because of limited time .

Wonderful week on the lake!

Our family had an amazing week at this beautiful house. The kayaks, canoes and bikes that are available provide endless fun. The village of Bemus Point is just a short walk with shops, restaurants and a playground. We can’t wait to come back!

60th Birthday Celebration

Awesome stay. House was perfect for our group. Weather was amazing. We rode bikes, played yard games, kayaked. It was Fallfest in Bemus. Enjoyed that as well. Thank you so much for sharing your house.

Beautiful Cottage!

The cottage was absolutely spotless and comfortable for our group of 12. The grandchildren had a very nice yard to play in, and we enjoyed a few campfires in the evenings. Also a short distance to the center of Bemus point, where we enjoyed our ice cream, and our walks through town!

Fishing trip

This would be our 3rd year at this house. The house is very, very clean. Beds comfortable. Great location on the lake. We go for fishing trip each year and its perfect. The owner always very nice and accommodating.

Nice Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect for my annual lake trip with my friends. Very inviting with good energy and vibes flowing through it! Close to everything! Shops, good eats, and lots to explore in the charming town of Bemus :Point. The Jetts a great hosts, with a lovely home. I would love to stay here again. Thank you! Paula

Wonderful week on the lake!

Our family has a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house. There were so many special touches that made the house unique. The house was very clean and well kept. The kayaks, bikes and lawn games kept us busy. Plus the village of Bemus Point is only a short walk away. The owners were incredibly friendly. We are hoping to come back next year!

Beautiful house

The house was great, the owner took great care in decorating it. Everyone had a great time. Only complaint is with the lake seaweed and algae. We werent able to use the lake. I would stay again if the town would do something about that. Also, the owner was lovely to deal with

Perfect

Amazing property overlooking Chautauqua Lake ! Bikes , yaks , a canoe , tons of indoor and outdoor games ! This place has some quirky details you will love ! Unique fixtures and decor , a great porch , picnic tables under an awning, dock and a great fire pit . We loved it and let me tell you the place was spotless ! No worries about anything ! All the kitchen perks you would ever need. First time in months we were able to really relax , thank you so much !

Family vacation

just returned from a wonderful week at the Jetts beautiful lake cottage !! There were 10 of us plenty of room for all . Kids enjoyed the bikes, kyacks, and canoe. We all enjoyed playing corn hole and sitting by the fire eating smores. We also rented the boat for the week , very nice boat , although we only got to enjoy it for couple hours due to the unexpected chilly weather and smoke from the canadian fires. The cottage was more than expected, very clean ,well organized. The Jetts were very easy to work with. Our over all experience with this rental was exceptional . would rent this again in a heartbeat !!!

Memorable Family Vacation

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. My families last stay in Chautauqua Lake was in 2015 and my father passed 2 months later. Since that time, it has been difficult for our family to come back for a vacation. We decided this was the year! Our stay was absolutely wonderful. So many family memories were made. Candy and Dave, our hosts, were great to work with. They were available for any questions we had. The listing was everything we expected and more. The place very spacious, spotless and everything we needed was there so we could just enjoy ourselves from the minute we got there. Thanks Candy and Dave for a great time!!

Nice place!

The house was clean with plenty of comfortable sleeping space for our group of 12. The weather was rainy and cold, but we found plenty else to do at the house...lots of board games and space underneath the awning out back was protected from the rain. We visited nearby Long Point State Park and the weather didn't stop us from slaying fish on Lake Chatauqua! What a beautiful place, and the fish are plentiful! We caught mostly rock bass, perch, and bluegill. There's a nice fish cleaning station outside, which came in very useful. The kids made use of the canoe, the kayaks, and the corn hole boards, when we had breaks in the rain. The owners could not have been more responsive and helpful. Owner Dave stopped over when we first arrived and the day before we left. It was very nice getting to meet him. The only negative was the noise from the nearby highway. Highly recommend!

The house is a perfect location! It's right off the highway and within walking distance of so much!!

I rented this property for a Bachelorette party, I am the MOH and it's my cousins wedding. She wanted lower key, she mentioned Chautauqua. I saw this house and the decor is so cute (even cuter in person). It was a half mile walk from Bemus point where the night we went out there were enough places to go and have fun. Everyone who came absolutely loved the house. The house is located closer to the water than it appears which I was super excited about. The owners were very friendly and super informative. I asked many questions being from Ohio and never having been to Chautauqua.y emails were answered in a timely matter. Everyone we stayed with asked for info on how to get this house. Having the experience I had I gave it all away and highly recommended the owners because of how friendly they were. I thank them for helping me plan the party from 2 different locations. My cousin described the house, location and little town as "perfect and exactly what she wanted.

DAVE, ALTHOUGH BEING AN AIRFORCE BRAT, SETTLED IN THIS COUNTY IN THE EARLY '70'S. WE MET IN THE AREA AND WERE MARRIED. WE LOVE THIS LAKE!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

PONTOON BOAT for rent.
* 24 ft., 50 horse power out-board engine
* $250/day or $800/wk (Saturday-Friday in season). Payment to be made at time of rental by cash or check. The fuel tank is full upon rental and is expected to be full upon return.
* The operator of a motorized vessel in New York state must either have a Boating Safely Certificate(out of state certificate is acceptable) or be born before January 1, 1978. In 2025 ALL operators must have a certificate!
* 10 person maximum occupancy on board
* PFD (personal floatation device) is required on-board for each person. We provide L/XL adult PFDs. Additional and varied sizes must be provided by the renter. Wearing of PFD in encouraged. Children sizes are limited.
* Horn/whistle, paddle(s), anchor and lights are all required and are to STAY on-board.
* A rental agreement must be signed in person at time of rental.
