Do not recommend horrible stay

Horrible stay. Cabin was not clean found hair extensions on the floor along with a pill in the bathroom and one under the dining room table. Got there on Thursday air went out late friday night. Called property management early Saturday morning. Nothing stayed gone all day and evening. Came back and still no air the cabin was 84 degrees. I do not recommend renting from this company they did absolutely nothing to accommodate us.

Ok stay

The water pressure on the upper floors was good until someone on a lower floor used any water, then the upper floor had absolutely no water. Didn’t realize until the last day that you had to call to get garbage picked up. I am used to renting places that leave a list of things to do before check-out (I.e. all dirty towels in bathtub or in washer, all dishes in dishwasher), no such list seemed to exist.

Good Weekend Overall but could be improved

This was the second time we have stayed in this cabin. The first was in 2019. We could tell a difference in those few years. Overall the property is good but it has declined since our last visit and could use an update. The second row of theatre seats are loose and all need a good cleaning. We could never get Netflix to work on that TV so only movies playing on cable could be watched (minor inconveniences) but the fireplace also stopped working our first night. This was reported the next morning. The beds did sleep very well so that is a big plus and the cabin has a lot of space to spread out. The kitchen is good for those that don’t do a lot of cooking. We all cook a lot and found it a little sparse but we were able to make do. The grill would only work if we lit it as the igniter did not work but we got it going twice. As you can see not a terrible experience but could use some maintenance.

Items disappointing

It was dark at check in and some of the porch lights weren’t working (blown bulbs) called and maintenance came the next day. The driveways was steep and slick with the leaves covering them. But the biggest disappointment was the inadequate supply of water. Did not have water on 2 different occasions. Called and maintenance responded quickly but was unable to resolve the problem. Was informed that it could be possibly due to maybe a shared well. Ceiling fans needed to be cleaned they were caked with dust. Overall it is a nice cabin and met our needs except for the inconvenience of the water supply. At no given time was there more than one person trying to take a shower when we had the water problem.

OK STAY

Cabin was a little older than we thought , pictures were absolutely beautiful but not what we thought, showers are to small for average size adults . Remotes needed batteries as we had to manually turn on the living room tv.we couldnt get the fireplace to work . Also the upper level bathroom shower or commode was leaking during use down the wall the the master king bedroom bathroom on the main level. Most bedrooms were down on the lower level and we felt isolated from the family on the main level as we all had to go upstairs to enjoy family time. The washer also leaks onto the floor while using .Over all , we did enjoy our stay.

Nice but dirty

Nice cabin. It was a little dirty. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Showers smelled like mildew. All fans were dusty. Jukebox didn’t work. The game console also wasn’t working well. Bed were comfy. You would think for the price of the cleaning fee it would be a lot cleaner.

Christmas Gathering

We came from Florida, Va, and 2 different places in WV. Very nice house! More baby friendly (high chair, baby gates for stairs) would have been nice. Although the office came to the rescue 😊 A very serious note: there needs to be better lighting on the back porch for the steps! There is lighting on the porch, but the steps are terrible, in the dark, and slightly not of uniform height. The bottom step is really bad where it meets the pavement, but if there was lights and you could see it wouldn’t be so bad I LOVED the driveway to the back, which made that bottom step weird. But the convenience of unloading kinda made up for the steps cuz it was day time Actually a beautiful cabin, just really need lights on those back steps. Especially for older people and depth perception

Communication

We were left a little dissappointed that there was very little communication w the owner/managing group A glass was broken on Monday evening and no one could get back to me until Monday am. We cleaned it up ourselves but wanted a vacumn cleaner to be safe on children's feet and received no response that evening. We left on time on day of departure with no notice of what the expectations were (towels, bedding etc) so we're assumng cleaned up and towels in the tub was good enough

No Hot Water!

The negatives! There was no hot water nor did the showers work until 7 hours after we been in the cabin. We had to drive to Eden Crest office just so they can expedite the situation. No plan B was put into place if they were not able to fix the water so pretty much, oh well. The water pressure was low in the showers, the bedroom downstairs with the bathroom, the door does not lock and the theater seats were dirty. A lot of things in the cabin need to be updated especially the little small stand up shower downstairs. The TV up stairs, the volume did not work all the time. If you like to watch TV and want to watch movies, make sure you bring hook ups or just be prepared to watch movies on your phone/tablet. The positives! Cleanliness, the rooms were spacious, easy to find cabin, and we made the best out of our trip with family and friends!

Couples trip!

Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. I had to call on two separate occasions about not being able to get hot water, and in the second occasion was told they where going to have some else come and look! The shower on the top floor where the pool table is never got hot at all so we boiled water very frustrating. The house also was not as clean as I would prefer, the comforters where dirty the sink was disgusting I had to clean it before I put water in it . Unfortunately I will not be booking with Eden Crest in the future! Thank you and have a great day.

WONDERFUL PLACE!

All details met at this magnificent location. The cabin is beautifully decorated, very spacious, open concept, and every detail is thought out for your stay. The kids loved the game area in the loft. The location is secluded but very convenient to shopping and attractions in the area. Kitchen was well equipped to cook our own meals and baths were ready with all soaps/lotions/washs and plenty of extra towels. There were extra blankets for the beds which came in handy during the cold days. I can't think of a single detail that was overlooked for our stay, right down to someone sprinkling ice melt on our front steps after the snow! Would highly recommend!

Not what was advertised

The location was nice, area is quiet, other than that listing is not reflective of the property. Listing stated most rooms were kings with private bathrooms but in reality only 2 beds with private bathrooms out of 5, only one had a tub and only 2 were king beds.. Couches were very dirty. Internet was terrible. Showers were terribly small and hot water was nearly nonexistent. Movie room television did not work. Ample parking is a large overstatement as well. Overall disappointing.

Good Time

I was looking for a good remote spot near pigeon forge for my girlfriends 30th bday. This place was amazing and had enough rooms for us to get away with some of her close friends. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will make it back someday.

Good, not great

The house was not well cleaned—everything smelled musty and damp. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom, cigarette butts and trash all around the house, and even leftover food on the back porch. A clogged sink that we reported and wasn’t fixed, a refrigerator that was put together wrong and wouldn’t close for the first half of our trip, and only one usable door because of the code for entry (no key was provided for the main door that led to the kitchen and living area). Overall the house was as described, but seemed quite overpriced for the condition it was in.

Just a Bit Outside

Property was nice. Showed some signs of age. Doors, Lighting, and other Fixtures. I think the may be some issues with septic in the area as you would get a "wiff" at times when enjoying the hot tub and sitting on the porches. Overall a good place to get away.

Family retreat

We loved the house as it was set up perfectly for us and our adult children and their significant others. However, one room was advertised as a bunk room, which we needed, but instead had one queen bed, leaving us short on beds. That would have been helpful to know before arriving.
