We just spent almost a month at Robertta’s lovely place. It is very clean, well kept and has everything you need. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The plunge pool is an extra plus. If you have a car there is a parking space just outside the house. The communication with Robertta was very good and easy. We will return to this fantastic place!

Peaceful and restful - wonderf host!

It is a fantastic, clean property within walking distance of the beach. Enjoyed our stay so much. Roberta was a fantastic host and so helpful. We can't wait to come back.

Fabulous Stay

Lovely large villa. Very well equipped with two comfortable bedrooms, both ensuite. Fantastic views from the upstairs balcony. Close to amenities and short walk to the beach. Excellent ommunication with our host. wexcellentexcellent.

Great Place in Barbados

We enjoyed out stay at Aquas Villas #4. The townhome was clean and comfortable. A short walk down the hill to the beach and to the grocery store.

Fantastic property

Very well equipped property, everything in working order and clean. 5 minute walk to the beach. Robertta provided excellent local recommendations on where to eat and communication leading up to the visit was seemless. We enjoyed our stay here so much we have booked again for next year

Barbados stay

Modern, well kept property. Location is not far from beach, but it is up a steep hill on a largely unpaved road, so care and fitness is needed unless you have transport. Minor problem with one of the AC units which the owner had attended to promptly. Enjoyed the stay.

Our perfect vacation

It was a joy to have stayed at Robertta's lovely villa, set high above the ocean, in a quiet residential area. Wonderful view overlooking the sea from the balcony of the main bedroom. Very spacious living area and kitchen , with everything you need for a long stay. Refreshing plunge pool was very welcome after the steep climb up the road to the villa. If you do not wish to hire a car, Clement lives opposite, he is a taxi driver, and always on hand to help with transport. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. When we return to Barbados we will not hesitate to stay in Robertta's again.

Property Risk Road

The villa was a nice size, the area was nice hard work walking up the steep hill from the beach. We found 2 lovely bars a few minutes walk from the villa Wendy's bar and a local bar Turtle bottom bar well worth a visit. We possibly would not stay here again purely due to being woke by the cockerels every morning at 3am and the constant dogs barking but for no other reason. Great communication from Robertta the owner of the property.

Wonderful stay in Barbados

We had a fabulous time in Robertta's condo - thank you so much! It's exactly as described in previous reviews. Spotless and very well equipped. We had planned to take the bus as it's located very close to a well-frequented bus route, but ended up renting a car and touring around the island (it's so easy - the car is delivered to the condo!). A local supermarket, Jordan's, is a couple of minutes away by car - check their frozen section for yummy fish. Marvelous snorkelling at Folkstone Marine Park is also a short drive away. Just a word of advice to get the gps location of the condo on the map to avoid confusion for people using Google maps to find it. If we are every lucky enough to return to Barbados, we will certainly want to rent this condo again!

Beautiful and quiet.

Loved staying here. I got very lucky and some friends of mine had actually rented this villa and at the last minute asked me to join so within a day I flew down to Barbados (4 1/2) from NYC. It was a little hard to find since my friends hadn't provided me with a proper address but that is not the fault of the villa. The villa was impeccably clean, the internet worked great and you could walk down the hill to the bus or across the street to the beach. The walk up is not so easy but the locals are VERY nice and we actually asked someone for a ride up the hill and he indulged us... so kind. There is Wendy's sport bar quite close and it is a fantastic place to go, on Friday nights they have Karaoke... some people where amazing. Overall Barbados is a fantastic Island with the friendliest people I think I have ever met and this villa did not disappoint. Can't wait to return.

Excellent experience, highly recommended

We rented this vrbo for a week, we are a family of 5 and it was, to put it simply, PERFECT. Location is excellent, close to a grocery store and many many fabulous beaches and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. The accommodations are clean, with all comforts of home. The kitchen is modern and has all emmenities. There is a washer & dryer, lovely porch, a balcony off the master bedroom, TV, wifi, and a refreshing soaking pool. There were so many thoughful pluses, like a cooler for picnic lunches, beach towels, and even a local cellphone for our use. Robertta was a dream to deal with-she made sure all our needs were met. We rented a car (yes, expensive in Barbados, but we saved so much on accommodations that it was easy to budget for a car rental). We toured ALL over the island and had a fabulous time taking in all the sights and wonders of Barbados. We probably should have rented a GPS, but we managed to find our way round without one (getting lost ended up being just another part of the fun). There were many buses so if you choose that route, you are very close to one of the main public bus lines. The people in Barbados were helpful and charming. It was a most perfect holiday. You will not regret staying at this vrbo; it is the ideal place for a family or small group of people to stay and see Barbados. Highly highly recommended.

Very Pleasant, Conveniently Situated Property

My wife and I stayed here for 12 nights in Mar/Apr 2018, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Booking the property was simple and straightforward, and the owner - Robertta - could not have been more friendly and helpful in answering emails ahead of our visit and also during our stay. She arranged for a local taxi driver to collect us on arrival from the airport, for example. The property is spacious and very sensibly laid out. It would suit two couples or a family, and so we had plenty of room! The kitchen was well-equipped and there is everything that you would need there. The plunge pool was wonderful to cool off in at the end of a hot day, and a pleasant place to enjoy tea or a drink. Groceries (from a well-stocked supermarket) are a 10 minute walk away. There is a beach at the bottom of the road (5 minute walk) which is very pleasant, uncrowded and offers excellent snorkelling. We snorkelled alongside turtles twice - only 30 yards from the beach - and there were many species of fish to watch. Bus stops into and out of Bridgetown are on the main road at the bottom of the road the property is situated on - again 5 minutes walk - and very convenient if you do not wish to hire a car. 2 Barbados dollars per person. Catamaran trip (we used 'Cool Runnins', but I suspect they are all pretty similar) was great fun and thoroughly recommended. Also safari tour is excellent, Harrison's Cave is fascinating and it is worth hiring a car for a couple of days just to explore the island. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Loved it!!!

We stayed in Robertta’s Villa for two weeks. When we planned our trip to Barbados, we had decided that we just wanted to just relax and hang around. The villa was a perfect place to do this! We loved the location. It is located at the top of a hill which we said we would walk every day but we didn’t once. The area was very quiet (except for maybe the roosters). Really enjoyed sitting outside by the splash pool relaxing. We had rented a car, so drove to Payne’s Bay, Mullin’s Beach, Crane Beach and Dover Beach (our favourite). We did try the Fitt’s Village Beach but with a car, we could pick and choose which beaches we went to. We mostly grocery shopped at Massey’s grocery store in Holetown but did a bit at Jordans. The villa is very comfortable, it’s spacious, super clean and has everything you will need. The pictures posted are a true representation of the villa. We ate out half the time and cooked the other half. The kitchen was well equipped and we used the bbq a couple of times. All worked well. The bed was very comfortable, we slept well every night. We did use the air conditioning at night. Robertta was great! We spoke on the telephone a few times before we got to Barbados. She always answered our questions quickly and had some great suggestions of what to do while there. Before we left Barbados, we decided that if we ever returned, we would definitely rent this villa again and we would recommend it in a minute!

Fantastic location, most relaxing.

On our arrival at Robertta's beautiful villa we were greeted by the lovely Yvette. We found the villa in tip top condition, clean and very well kept. Exactly as in photographs. Plenty of space and facilities for the 4 of us, and fast WiFi went down very well with our teenagers. The plunge pool was most refreshing and relaxing on our returns from the beach or busy days exploring the island. I have stayed in Barbados many times in my life but this visit was a highlight, due to the great location of the villa. A short drive to Bridgetown and easy journey up Highway 1 to Holetown and Speightstown. The view from the balcony of the master bedroom balcony is simply stunning, a must for sunset watchers. We visited almost all of Robert's restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed once. I highly recommend a walk down the hill on your arrival and turn left towards Jordans and enjoy your first evening meal out at Il Tempio Italian restaurant. The neighbours are all lovely people, I'm not a Karaoke person but a visit to Wendy's sports bar on Friday night is a must! Very talented people indeed, good food and good bar prices. Very good communication from Robertta both before and during our stay. Overall a fantastic time was had & looking back at our stay seems almost dreamlike from here in the UK. Many thanks Robertta!

Home away from home! The villa had everything! Robertta was fantastic as our host.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. The Villa was extremely clean, great beds, linens and the kitchen was totally equipped. Robertta provided lots of information for the area as well for other parts of the island. The people who are the contact for the Villa very friendly and helpful. Robertta arranged airport pick up which was great. We used Terry to drive us around. He was reliable and a great guy. The two weeks we stayed at the Villa went quickly. We were sad to leave. I would say that is a good holiday! I would recommend renting Robertta’s Villa, you will not be disappointed!

This was our first time booking through HomeAway, so we were nervous as we pulled up at fitts village. We were met by Kevin, who showed us around, and we were delighted with what we saw. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, and so clean and tidy, the place just shone. The downstairs lounge area opens onto the patio with plunge pool, which we enjoyed using throughout our holiday. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, we used the front room which had a balcony looking out towards the sea. The property is set in a residential area, which meant it was very quiet, and we slept really well on the comfy bed. The people in this area were so friendly, and gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. At the bottom of Risk road you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, directly in front is Fitts beach, 500 m to the right is Crystal cove and 1km to the left our favourite Batts beach. All have parking next to beach. All communications with Robertta were easy, and she was always quick to respond. To sum up we had a amazing holiday, and would recommend this as a great place to stay in Barbados. Many thanks to Robertta and her team Rob and Anthea Cornwall UK

Fabulous Palce to stay

We just arrived home last night from a fabulous 9 day vacation at this location I have stayed many times in Barbados at various locations and I found this Villa to be the most well equipped, modern and centrally located spot I have ever been. Robertta was a charm to deal with and she has provided everything needed for a self-catering vacation. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures plus more. The property was clean, well maintained and although in a residential area with locals it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable as well. The roosters and chickens that greeted us each day were quite entertaining as well. The local restaurant and bar that was just a bit down the hill had amazing local food and drinks , we visited there more than once. We got in shape by walking to the beach or to the local grocery store even though we had rented a car for sightseeing. Kevin the property manager greeted us and explained everything and even came back on our last day to collect the keys and he joined us for a farewell "Banks" beer at Wendy's. The internet service was excellent and we never even turned on the television as we enjoyed the patio or the plunge pool more. Thank you Robertta and Kevin. condo in paradise

Lovely property, just up a steep hill from a beach; quiet neighbors, but less quiet chickens in the area. Walking distance to a spots bar and a little further to a grocery store. Good size bedrooms, bathrooms, livingroom and kitchen area. Nice dunking pool for easy cool downs after walks. Taxi driver lives across the street which made it easy booking our return trip to the airport.

Home Away from Home

I came upon this villa quite by accident as the owner had just purchased the property and hadn't taken possession yet. We were both a little nervous about this opportunity, but it was meant to be. Roberrta was a pleasure to deal with and very forthcoming with information about her new villa. She was in Barbados when we arrived and along with Sean, the property Manager, they both went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was very noticeable that Roberrta spent the time getting the villa decorated to her standards which made it very comfortable and it truly felt like our home away from home for the two weeks we spent there. Having the villa so close to the beach was a bonus, as was the closeness of the grocery store. Since we enjoyed walking around this area known as Fitts Village, we found many little pubs as well as restaurants in close proximity to the villa. We were also able to catch the bus without any problems as the stop was a mere 4 minute walk away, and this enabled us to travel and sightsee even more and therefore did not find a need to rent a car. Sean also went out of his way when he took my brother, my husband and myself on a tour of his island and showed us many hidden treasures. The entire day was spent getting to know Sean, as well as his love and knowledge of this beautiful island. The pictures I was able to take of the many sites we visited were incredible. This truly was a highlight of our trip. We will miss everything about Barbados, including this villa, our home away from home, and I would recommend this property to anyone. Due to the excellent customer service we received from Roberrta and Sean, Barbados is now our favorite vacation destination and we will definitely be back!
