Our remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at East Rim (Unit D-14) is located right across from Purgatory Lodge and offers the ultimate convenience in all seasons.

The condo features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and is perfect for multiple families. East Rim is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Additionally, the ski run to Lift 7 runs adjacent to the condo. This property is unique because is just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, but it offers a more private and quiet existence with views that cannot be beat in the region. You have immediate access to all the resort amenities, and fantastic value in this fully remodeled and exceptional residence.

Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are downstairs):
Master - Queen
Bedroom 2 - Queen
3rd - Bunk Bed (single over single) - Note access to the bunk room is thru the Master Bedroom
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa

There is a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs (not attached to a bedroom) as well as a washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) and a BBQ gas grill on the deck.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

The rental was not properly ready for our stay. The electricity to the electric heaters in the downstairs bedrooms and bath were not connected. It was 42 degrees in the bedrooms. It wasn't until 1pm the next day that it was resolved.Once the heaters were connected, the bedroom heaters were fairly weak; not sure they would have been adequate, except they brought some space heaters the 2nd day.Also, the hot water took a few minutes to become warm, although the water heater looked new and modern, so it must have been set on some conservation mode.The location and furnishings, however, were excellent. And the people working the issues were nice.

Great location and the condo had everything that we needed for our stay. The primary bathroom downstairs with the three bedrooms didnā€™t offer a lot of space for four people to get ready or store their toiletries. We made it work (made the kids use the upstairs bathroom) but it could have been more convenient. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and the views did not disappoint. The check in instructions said we didnā€™t need the parking pass in the summer but we did receive a parking violation warning for not having the permit in our car. One thing to note which we did not even think about is since this is a pet friendly rental, the stairs from the parking area to the front door are metal grates. Makes sense in the winter, however we had to walk our dogs up/down a dirt/grass incline to avoid the stairs. Glad we didnā€™t get an upstairs unit for this reason. Overall, we were very happy with this rental and we would stay again.

Amazing location.

Everything was great. Pool and hot tub right across the street were a hit with the adults and the kids. The bedroom with the bunk beds was perfect for the family of 4 . The second bedroom was a little bit small for a couple but we made due.

We enjoyed skiing home to lunch on the balcony. The big dining table was great for home cooked meals at breakfast and at night. A very large counter was great for prepping and storage. All pots and pans were present. The dishwasher didnā€™t really clean anything though.The two bedrooms and bunk nook were comfy to sleep in. Both bathrooms were nice. We found the upstairs shower preferable due to the water heating up much faster, but downstairs was neat. Overall great stay!We loved the proximity to Purgatory village and the ease of getting onto and off the slopes.

This property was clean and tastefully decorated. All the kids had their own place to sleep, which they loved. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool, and taking advantage of some of the little shops that were on property. We would visit again if we are back in the area.

Perfect for family ski trip

Loved this condo - first time we have truly gotten to ski-in/ski-out at Purgatory and it was so easy! Clean, plenty of space for 4 of us and our dog, first floor, just great. The kids were excited about the hot chocolate station. :) Highly recommend!

No instructions on how to work the tv in living room- also would have been helpful to have had a list of where to buy groceries?

Great unit and location- needs some TLC, kitchen was very dark with lightbulbs burned out in the ceiling and stove, grill outside was disgusting dirty and hard to light without removing the plates - Front door gets stuck and hard to open plus lots of gaps that lets air in- dishwasher doesnā€™t clean but leaves a horrible white film all over the silverware and dishes- no proper dishwasher soaps available- Communication with property management was very poor at check in, didnā€™t receive instructions and had to wait and called them 3 times-they used excuse that the check in email went to spam well their other earlier email thanking us for booking never went to spam!!
