Miles of beach outside your door- Amazing Oceanfront Home!

Experience instant relaxation when setting foot into this beautiful vintage beachfront house with 180 degree views of the Oregon coastline. The mid century design is an open-plan with the living room, dining room, and kitchen all comprising one great room with a wall of windows looking out over sand dunes and partial views of the crashing surf. Great deck facing the beach and front sand "yard" with fire pit and play area for kids and adults.

Our house is a vintage 1960s house (read: not a new build). It is remodeled, but definitely still has "vintage charm". If this appeals to you, great! If not, there are lots of new modern rentals available in Manzanita.

The kitchen is fully equipped for group cooking, and the dining area seats 12 (8 at a table, 4 more at a bar height counter). The house sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, pair of Twins, Bunk Room with 2 sets of bunk beds with twin mattresses).

Other amenities include: wood burning fireplace, wifi, a TV cart (with Netflix, and Apple TV – no cable), a game room with ping pong table, a washer/dryer, high chair, portable crib ('Pack n' Play'), BOB single stroller (front wheel locks for jogging), 2 adult beach cruiser bikes. Parking for 2 cars max.

In front of the house, a 100 yard path leads through sand dunes to 7 miles of sandy beach. From the house it is a 10 minute walk (3/4 mile) up the beach to the small, friendly town of Manzanita. The area is a natural paradise that includes hiking trails through old growth forests with incredible ocean vistas, miles of bike paths in Nehalem Bay State Park (1/2 mile), surfing at Oswald State Park/Short Sands (10 min drive), fishing in Nehalem River, and crabbing in Nehalem Bay. Golfers will enjoy Manzanita's beautiful and challenging nine hole course (1/3 mile).

The house was better than the photos! Very comfortable living space with a great fireplace to enjoy on a chilly night. The kitchen stocked with all pans and utensils needed to put together a great meal. All enjoyed with great views out the windows of the dunes.It is a really amazing space with enough space to fit a large family or a few friends. We stayed on a rainy weekend and had a great time, but being able to enjoy the outside area and have a fire in the firepit outside would be a really enjoyable night. Couldn't recommend it more!

big windows and gorgeous views of the grasses and dunes, peak-a-boo view of the water, perfect outlook even when pouring rain, very comfortable home for three of us (couple plus parent), great layout, well-stocked wood pile for fires outside. we've come 4 times and are already booked for next year. Incredibly well organized, everything you need and nothing you don't. one of our very favorite vacation rentals on one of our favorite beaches...

We had a wonderful stay in Manzanita. This home offered very comfortable beds, a fun Games room and outdoor space and a relaxing living room. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location right on the dune was perfect for us. We had a minor issue during our stay that our host was quick to respond to and have repaired. We'd definitely recommend this property!

Lovely home on the beach

Our multi-generational group loved this home! It was fully stocked for all our needs. The ping pong table and bikes for a hit. Being on the beach was so convenient and beautiful. It was tranquil and quiet and was the perfect family getaway.

Awesome stay right on the beach

Incredible cabin, updated with EVERYTHING you need and right on the beach. Perfect for families and beautifully decorated (boho, mid-century modern). It felt very clean and had a lot of fun touches -- a cool bunk room off the garage (with ping pong table), washer and dryer, a RECORD PLAYER (with records), and super comfy beds. Fair warning: when you walk in, it will definitely feel "vintage" or old, but it's completely updated and gorgeous throughout. There's a kind of old cabin smell, but to us that's fun and nostalgic. We loved that charm, but it's not going to feel like new construction. The views and location cannot be beat. Close walk to town (5-10 min) and RIGHT on the beach. You can watch storms roll in or go down and play on the dunes. Just a ton of fun and definitely plan on being back.

Lovely place for a cozy family getaway

We really enjoyed our time here! You can't beat the location, it was so nice to wake up in the morning and get breakfast ready as a family while looking out at the dunes at beach. The home was cozy and thoughtfully appointed (I appreciated the small things like the records and record player, lots of electrical outlets, toy options for the kids, etc.). The hosts were very communicative and responsive. I definitely recommend this place for a getaway!

Great Manzanita Beach House

We had a great stay at this spacious, well stocked home on Manzanita Beach. So well appointed from the kitchen to the bathrooms, bedrooms and living space. While the weather was stormy and didn't allow for a lot of beach time we had fun outside with a fire one night and were cozy around the inside fireplace. But the location is excellent, easy stroll to the beach and there is a enough of a view from the house that we could watch the waves and storms rolling in. Would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible stay! The home is beautiful and is decorated beautifully - very mid-century but comfortable. The kitchen was stocked, great toys for our 7 year old daughter and so close to the beach. We will definitely be back!

We come back every year!

Such a comfortable, easy, perfectly located place to be. Checks all the boxes for us - near the beach (sand, dunes and grass out the front door), fire pit and wood, bikes, well stocked kitchen, plenty of space to spread out inside & out, great place to be regardless of the weather, close to hikes, and town. We have a beach house which we love, and still always look forward to coming to this one.

Wonderfully comfortable & well stocked house

A group of 6 adult women met up here for a relaxing reunion. The house was amazingly well stocked (kitchen had more pots, pans, baking, appliances than most rentals I have visited. It feels they have thought of everything and the beds were comfortable. Note, the only tv is in one of the bedrooms, but it is on a rolling cart, so you could move it to the living room. We never turned it on. We did not have children with us, but it would be a great house for them... bunk room is fun with safe bunks (stairs to get to the top bunk and railings) and wonderful toys. And such easy access to the beach with a lovely view of sea grass (and a peek at the ocean waves. We talked about booking again in a couple years for another reunion!

Another great stay!

We have stayed in this house three times and are planning a fourth trip next March. The location is great and has easy access to the beach. The kitchen is great and the dining room accommodates our large family. The ping pong table is always a hit with the grandkids.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had fabulous weather, which helped. The house was RIGHT on the beach-- just a short barefoot walk down to the ocean. We had a beautiful fire in the backyard sandpit under the clear night sky-- so many constellations! Every morning we walked to town for coffee. The house was beautifully clean and well equipped-- a real highlight for our summer vacation. Would definitely stay again!
