Phoenix West II is a great beach front resort in Orange Beach, AL! You don't want to miss an opportunity to stay at this luxury Orange Beach rental. This over-sized condo has a King in the Master, a King in Guest bedroom 1, 2 Queens in Guest bedroom 2, and a sleeper sofa with 2 twin sleeper chairs in the living room, which helps accommodate 12 guests. Flat screen TV's in all Bedrooms and in the living room. There is tile throughout the condo, solid wood cabinetry, a private bathroom per bedroom, satellite cable service, lightning fast wireless Internet, a large open design kitchen with full stainless steel appliance package, wet bar, 300 square foot balcony, state-of-the-art air conditioning and hot water systems, washer and dryer, and much more!

Complex amenities include a massive Gulf front lazy river, a Gulf front outdoor pool, a huge indoor pool, children's pool, tennis courts, BBQ area with grills, hot tubs, saunas, multi-level exercise rooms with high quality equipment, all covered parking, gated with full time security, plus more!

Overall, condo was as advertised. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and the AC unit was loud. The dryer struggled. Could use a deep cleaning, mold above master shower. One of the sinks in the master is cracked. Doors and light switches need a wipe down. The views of sunrise were spectacular. Sunrise is kind of blocked by building based on location of condo.

2807…Floors were not clean!Oasis location and pool, lazy river, bar access and grill amenities were great.Dish TV system too difficult to operate. Just need to use internet access for TV’s.

Excellent location, close to pretty much every place you’d need to go. Views from the 28th floor were breathtaking! Spent hours on the Lazy River, very relaxing.

Our condo needs a lot of work. Curtains were dirty, pictures off of wall, knicks in the wall. Breaker box cover was off in which is dangerous for kids, closet door handle needs replaced, elevator situation needs work. We would try to get on and it was packed so we had to wait at least 30 minutes one evening etc….Our location was great though

Had all the potential in the world

The condo building, pools, beach access, and condo layout were great. But the finishing touches of the condo were lacking. Paying 5k for 5 nights I expected not to find goldfish crackers in one pullout couch and for the 2nd one to work. I expected not to have horribly rusty scissors and whisks in the drawers and steak knives that would at least get through a mango. All the mattresses were springy and disappointing. We ended up leaving a day early.

Great Management

Had a short power outage that reset our door code. Called Prickett, they had it reset within about 2 min! Small issue but service matters. Great customer service.Condo was fantastic. Was very informed, had information emails along the way. Thanks!

Great vacation

Overall we had a great vacation. No issues with parking or elevators. Our condo was moved to a different property on our check in day due to air conditioning issues with the original unit which was kind of disappointing but we were moved to a comparable unit. Sadly the lazy river shut down after our 2nd day there so we werent able to use that or the wtarr slide but all the other amenities were open and very nice. We would definitely rent from this company again.

Great condo resort horrible condo owner

This is a beautiful resort and would stay there again in a heartbeat. I do have to say the Prickett property management group was great to work with but the owner of the property 2807 has 60 condo rentals and didn’t do a good job maintaining the condo. Condo needs a lot of work from really old disgusting furniture to hole in the sink to dented refrigerator and old appliances but the worst was the air conditioner that is 14 years old that needs replaced that I had to have maintenance out a couple times to put Freon in to get us through. Prickett Properties was great to help and fix everything that was needed the condo resort was great from ocean restaurant bar pools and chairs. One other thing that would be better is to fix the elevator problem make sure you stay on a low floor.

Great stay

Overall great place. Best views. Lots of room. Great condo. Our air quit working but they got someone on it and fixed it immediately. Great communications. Great location. We will definitely book with them again.

Fabulous

We will definitely be back. The only thing check in was at 4:00 and our rooms weren’t ready until 5:00. Also, think the parking tickets should be included with the rooms.

Family Beach Trip

We had our annual family beach trip and decided to stay at this property for a change because of the lazy river, splash pad and waterslide for the kids. Overall the place was nice but the pools and lazy river were often dirty and discolored. the "lifeguards" were useless, especially by the slide. The place was too crowded and the elevator system is terrible. There needs to be better management of the elevators and how they are operated. We often waited 20 minutes or more for an elevator. We will not stay in a high rise again. Also the beach front is way overcrowded given the number of people who stay here.

Concert at the Wharf and a night at Florabama

Property was great due to the views, lazy river, slide, beach access, and the beds were actually comfortable. Amenities in the condo were fair as they provided the bare necessities but nothing more. Note that if you plan on BBQing bring charcoal as no where on the website does it list if the grills are propane or charcoal, I had to ask the property manager. Also, beware as noted in other reviews if that place was busy the elevators would be a total debacle. The only negative was on checkout day the cleaning crew came to wake us up at 8am. The place was not busy and it was unnecessary but I’m sure they wanted to get on with their day.

Disappointed

Appliances in very poor shape. Dishwasher took more than 3 hours and didn’t dry. We are all over 65 so no comfortable seating. Recliner in poor shape. Furniture falling apart. Holes in sink in mst bedroom. Dining table and chairs fingers got caught on gap between leg and seating. The condo was beautiful but the amenities really made stay difficult.

Family vacation

The condo was excellent! All appliances worked, beds were comfortable and condo was very clean. The online pictures were spot on. Thanks for the recliner, more condos should have them for elderly guests. The only things that were disappointing was the spotty internet service and the parking garage, it is definitely not user friendly for large vehicles and elderly guests. Daniel made the booking and checking in and out of his property very easy. Thanks for the great vacation!
