We have renovated our home with careful attention to detail, and we sincerely hope you enjoy Hideaway Haven as much as we do. The surrounding woods combined with mid-century modern decor provides a peaceful spa-like getaway. Highlights include our open floor plan flooded with natural light, a fireplace, concrete countertops, and a Savant Home Automation System that controls virtually everything in the house. Use an iPad/Iphone, an Apple Watch, or Android device to control...motorized shades, dimmable LED lighting, music, HDTV's, climate, and more. Also control 3 home theaters, in-wall and invisible speakers in all rooms, along with outdoor speakers. Relax or entertain on our newly designed deck with a new Spa Jacuzzi J-LXL, LED lighting, outdoor speakers, and outdoor sectional seating(seasonal). Control the sound system from your iOS/Android device using Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, or watch Apple 4K TV, or satellite TV on the 6 flat screen HDTV's, including 2 HDR 4K TV's, and 2 60" LED TV's. Sleep comfortably in 100% cotton, soft, quality linens.

Our newly constructed outdoor patio area is really the highlight of our home. Entertain, relax, or exercise on our over 1200 SF of outdoor living space. Sit next to the concrete glass fire pit, relax in the jacuzzi, or enjoy meal while you watch a movie on a 46" Sunbrite Outdoor TV under the stars.. Enjoy listening to your favorite playlist on Pandora outside with our new landscape stereo system, which also has an underground sub-woofer.

Wake up to the sounds of birds, rooster crowing, and see deer strolling our our over 1 acre property situated near a small stream. We are within walking distance of the Rhinebeck Aerodrome!

Modern Comfort

We were delighted by all the bells and whistles of this home. Many rentals feel cold and bare with hodge-podge dated furniture. However the owners of this home did not spare any expense. It feels brand new with modern plush furniture, stocked kitchen equipment needed for gourmet meals, and modern high-tech smart system for practically everything from door locks to electric shades. We also enjoyed the tranquil woods surrounding the property which brings me to the hot tub. This salt water spa is to die for, lots of jets and room for 6. We will most definitely be returning to the home.

Amazing property close to so much! Had a fabulous long weekend in Red Hook!

We booked this house for a girls' weekend for 9. Booking and payment were both extremely easy. Jason answered any and all questions quickly and with great details about the area and the house. We arrived to a pristine house with a ton of very thoughtful details and great amenities. Every room was lovely and there was plenty of room for all of us. We had a great time discovering the smart features and taking full advantage. The system was easy to access and use- even for the least tech savvy in our group. There is something to be said for not having to get out of bed to adjust the ac on a hot summer night. The house is close to so many awesome Hudson Valley towns. We had nice days in Red Hook, Rhinebeck and Kingston. Highly recommend the Rainbow Body Yoga studio in Red Hook! Cooking a big group dinner at the house was fun and easy- plenty of high-quality kitchenware and space for all. Our last night by the fire pit and hot tub with the outdoor sound system was the perfect end to our getaway weekend. We came from NYC/Westchester and felt like we were a world away even though it was only an hour and a half drive. I hope our group will be back before too long. Thanks for a great weekend!

Absolutely amazing!

My girlfriends and I were looking to have a relaxing, stress-free weekend away this summer. Jason's home was everything we could have hoped for and more! Strong winds and rain took down a few branches around the house while we were there, and Jason was very responsive. We look forward to staying at Jason's home in the future!

Great house, great setting - Comfortable & fun place to stay

We had a blast at this VERY comfortable, hi-tech house. We had (6) old Marist College buddies for a golf weekend, and could not have found a more comfortable place to call 'Home Base'. We had a CIA graduate chef with us, and he thought the kitchen was excellent ... fully stocked with everything he needed in the way of appliances, pots, pans, etc., and loved that it was right off the dinning room & patio so he was with us the entire time. I became the IT guy, and enjoyed controlling all the lights, music, many TVs & fire pit from an app on my phone, the supplied iPad, or the remotes in each room. Like I said ... lots of fun :) ... We will definitely be asking Jason to rent it again, so please do not take any of the dates we want .. LOL. Thanks Jason for a great stay, and for those who might rent it in the future ... Enjoy!!!

Fantastic!!!

We stayed here very comfortably with 9 family members for a wedding in Rhinebeck. Jason is a wonderful host and his home is a an immaculate, user friendly, oasis filled with very amenity one could think of. We thoroughly enjoyed using the Savant Pro app to turn on lights, TVs, etc. We stayed during a 90 plus degree heat wave and his home was a welcome cool retreat. We particularly enjoyed watching World Cup soccer in the AM outside on the patio and in the jacuzzi where we were accompanied by the backyard birds and the neighborhood crowing rooster.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

This is a fabulous rental and ideal for families. The home is beautifully decorated, very clean, spacious and comfortable, and located just minutes from the towns of Rhinebeck and Red Hook. We stayed here over the holidays with our three young children - the house is set up perfectly to give everyone their own space. The owners are very responsive and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The home is fully equipped with everything you could want/need for a fabulous upstate NY vacation. We will definitely return and highly recommend this spot.

Wonderful house

Wonderful getaway stay! 10/10

We had an incredible time staying at Jason's property over the 4th of July weekend. Aside from it being a beautiful house that was well stocked with everything, the attention to detail at the place took our stay to the next level. The house had state of the art technology, with TVs in most rooms including outside! Some of us watched a movie while using the jacuzzi- amazing. We loved using the BBQ and listened to music all afternoon with the outdoor speakers. The kitchen was amazing with top quality appliances - we even made waffles one of the mornings. Jason was extremely helpful throughout our stay, providing tips for the area. When we had an issue with the water softener one day, we reached out to Jason and he immediately responded and had it fixed. We can't recommend this place enough, thanks for a great time Jason!

Perfect Getaway!!

This home is immaculate! Everything is simply beautiful from the front porch to the kitchen, bedrooms and back patio! Jason couldn't be more helpful with his quick text replies and written instructions. Tons of kitchen gadgets if you're inclined to cook. We had a girls weekend and 6 of us were quite comfortable! Perfect retreat that is close to everything. 100%!

100% recommendation. I don't see how this house and location could be any better. We were a group of 6 from New York City that wanted a getaway for 4 days in the winter. The home itself is impeccable and was spotless when we arrived. The dƩcor, bathroom, and linens were all very high quality and new - it felt like a high-end hotel when you were in the bedrooms. We spent most of the time in the living room, dining room, kitchen which has a very nice flow and goes right out to the deck and hot tub (which was fantastic for a winter night). The hosts were super responsive from day 1 (we booked months in advance) and we knew if we needed anything they would get it for us. The house has great technology and sound system for watching movies in the living room. Location wise: 20 minute drive to Rhinecliff station. The roads are not busy so an easy drive. 15 minutes to Rhinebeck. About the same to get to Vanderbilt Mansion, FDR Library, etc. We also drove north about 25 minutes to Hudson and spent the day exploring that town. It felt as though everything was a 15-20 minute drive so it is a perfect central location for exploring the entire Hudson River Valley.

A beautiful and modern wooded hideaway for old friends reuniting for a wedding

We visited as a group of friends from one home town who had dispersed and now were reuniting for a wedding being held nearby. This house was perfect, from the numerous sleeping locations, to the beautiful outdoor space and hot tub, and the proximity to the event in our case. The only thing that went wrong is we all had to head back to normal life. This is a great location for a medium-to-large gathering centered around the outdoor space and the surrounding town. All the facilities are extremely modern and well-maintained. Our hosts left everything we needed for us there and were great communicators, ensuring we could get in on arrival. Would happily stay again if a similar opportunity presented itself!

The most amazing house, in Red Hook!

Stayed at this beautiful house four nights in beginning of October, just before an intense schooling program. My wife and I needed to cool our minds. The Red Hook retreat became the perfect solution. Not only did the inventive amenities make us awe struck and added to sublime comfort, but the serene and cozy atmosphere with the beautiful seasonal autumn colors made us have the best preparation possible. The house and rooms are very clean. Beds and linen of highest quality, very comfortable. The sense of detail and taste is amazing. Every bit of the pictures of the house is true. The professional and friendly interaction with the owners made initial contacts prompt and easy. During our stay the host couple proved themselves to be an excellent team in assisting with any question or need that came up, very helpful. The kitchen is also very well equipped and cooking a delicious dinner was no problem. Exploring the culinary treats available in the area makes the location even more wonderful. Glƶgg and Hillrock just to mention two of the things we enjoyed. The outside and inside fire place greatly contributed to the warm and cozy atmosphere. After rounding up our stay in the hot tub our last evening, our tense minds and bodies were gone, now perfectly relaxed and ready for the highest learning. This retreat is the best choice, we highly recommend it. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Beyond our expectations!!!

Every year my family and I reunite in Rhinebeck/Red Hook during the same weekend. This year we decided to rent a house so we could spend more time together. After seeing the house online, we thought it would be perfect for us. It ended up exceeding our expectations! The house is clean, absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We were even greeted with fresh flowers on the dining room table. We had 8 people staying in the house and we each had our own space. Jason had mentioned that since we booked they had updated the outdoor space. This area was also extremely inviting. At the end of the day, we enjoyed family time around the amazing fire pit and in the hot tub. The patio was simply the icing on the cake!! Jason was easily accessible leading up to the vacation as well as while we were there. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful home.

Great place to stay!

Before I get into the house I would like to say that the help I received from the owner Jason was incredible. He was there to answer all of my questions and was incredibly helpful. Now on to the property. The place is really nice and has a great feel to it. The furniture is not only comfortable but you can tell there was thought put into how the whole place was put together. The open kitchen/dining room is really great for everybody to be able to hang out and the deck is an awesome surprise. The house also comes with its own app and you can control most things from your phone. I found this to be really cool and convenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and can't recommend this place enough. If there is another wedding in the area I was most certainly be following up with Jason and I would recommend you stay here as well.

Lovely, clean home in the woods

We stayed here for 4 nights in August. The house looks exactly like the photos. I was struck by the cleanliness of the place. Many clean, comfortable white beds. I'm obsessed with clean accommodations and I'm always worried about bed bugs when we travel. Nothing to fear here. The grounds are well kept and lovely and the outside area is expansive and spa-like. There is a huge deck off the house with a hot tub and an enormous polished concrete patio attached to that. Tons of comfortable seating and wait for it...a TV! It was hot when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have wanted. But I think this area would be amazing in Sept / Oct / Nov or spring / summer when the weather is more temperate. The house is close to a lot of things. We came for the Duchess Co fair but the Aerodome was amazing. The air show was super cool and worth it. Red Hood has some good restaurants (Lucoli has yummy pizza, even though the ambiance is lacking) and Rhinebeck has several too (Loved Market St). I could see turning this into a lovely week to check out the foliage and the charm of the local towns. The river is there too and many places to enjoy views. Jason was very easy to communicate with. He accommodated an early check-in when I failed to notice that 4 pm was the designated time. I'm of the "failure to be prepared on your part, doesn't constitute an emergency on my part" belief, so he really didn't have to go all out for us, but he did. He also sent me a thoughtful list of recommendations. Basically, he did everything possible to enhance our stay. All in all, a good trip and we'll definitely be back.

8 of us stayed there this past weekend; the house was amazing and the owner really went the extra distance to ensure we were comfortable. plus, the home audio system sounds amazing! we'll def. be coming back.

Pefect Retreat

This is our second time staying at this property. The entire experience was wonderful - again. The process of coordinating the rental details with Jason was easy and painless - again. The property is extremely well appointed, impeccably clean, and was the perfect oasis for our time in the area - again! Strongly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful hideaway with all the amenities.

Beautiful house for a relaxing family vacation!

Our family - two grandparents, three couples, four kids - stayed in this home for a long weekend to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. It was perfect! The home is exactly as pictured: beautiful modern decor, perfectly clean and uncluttered, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. The yard and patio were great; if it hadn't been rainy, we would have been out there all weekend :-) Jason was a really gracious host. We had a few questions throughout our stay; he returned all of my messages right away. Upon discovering that we had left a few things behind, he immediately contacted us and offered to mail them to us. The location was convenient for hiking and walks, trips into downtown Rhinebeck, visits to historic mansions and the Aerodrome, etc. Plenty of games and movies to entertain us in our down-time. All in all, it was about as good of an experience as we could have expected. I highly recommend this listing!
