This apartment was a wonderful place to stay in central London, close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants but situated on a quiet street in Pimlico. Adrienne is an exceptionally helpful and responsive host, providing great communication and very helpful advice and suggestions. The apartment is well equipped and comes with easy to understand information sheets detailing instructions on how to operate all appliances, and included a comprehensive list of all nearby shops, restaurants, and transport suggestions. Highly recommended.

Great location in Pimlico, London. Peaceful at night and close to the tube for the daily activities. Good choice of restaurants in the neighborhood. Easy communication with the owner. You have some steps to climb though to reach your apartment.

Thank you so much for your positive review! We are so pleased you enjoyed the house and location. Yes indeed there are many stairs to climb if you are staying in one of the bedrooms on the top floor! But not if you are staying on the lower ground floor, where there is only one staircase down from the kitchen/dining room. The Victorians must have been very fit, living in these houses nearly 200 years ago!

We had a wonderful week in the apartment. It had everything we needed: comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a super-comfortable tub and shower, and two fans, which were very useful in this heatwave. the apartment is in a central but very quiet area. Bus 14 is convenient for reaching the main attractions. The hosts will provide all the information you need to make your stay a success. A tip for those traveling from Italy: bring your electrical outlet converter... we forgot it, but we fixed it!!

Excellent 1 bedroom on a quiet street near Victoria Station. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Property owner communication is superb with a message a week or so ahead of time with all the information one needs both to access and use the unit but also what is in the neighborhood etc.Being in the center of a huge city, the unit is small but, as stated, great for a couple. The bedroom is basically filled with the bed and 2 small end tables. The great room has a WELL SUPPLIED kitchen (good selection of cooking pots/pans/utensils etc), large refrigerator and freezer, kitchen table, comfortable couch (which folds out if needed) and wall mounted TV. Bathroom is tight but otherwise fine. Wi-Fi works great.I must commend Adrienne for the amount of information both sent prior to check in but also in unit. Explanations abound and the manuals for every appliance is in a notebook in the unit.Large Sainsbury's market is 0.4 miles away by foot (10 minute walk), many nice pubs/restaurants in same area. Several excellent bus routes nearby and the Victoria Station Tube station fairly close.A couple looking for a quite yet central stay should strongly consider this unit!

We had a wonderful week in London. The flat is ideally located in the heart of the city, yet on a very quiet street. It's clean, comfortable, and well organized - perfect. Communication with the owner was always prompt and informative. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

My criteria for a 5 star review are simple: Is the apartment as advertised?Is the apartment clean?How is communication with the host?Well, Victoria Violet scores top marks on all. We chose it for its location, close to Victoria Station and the description on VRBO. Turned out that, not only is it a short walk to the station, but Alderney Street turned out to be very quiet. The apartment was spotless. We were in London during a major heatwave, so keeping the flat cool was a challenge. Lights off and shades drawn during the day, fans on and windows open during the night managed, but people for whom heat is a problem might want to explore places with air conditioning...or go during a cooler part of the year. :-) Also, it is up 4 flights of stairs, so people for whom that is a challenge may wish to look elsewhere. Otherwise, the unit is in great shape, everything worked perfectly and it was exactly as advertised!Communication was impeccable and the host very accommodating to our request for a scent and feather free stay. They even left a welcome basket of breakfast goodies (and wine!) to get us started.We highly recommend a stay!

Adrienne was a breeze to deal with and communicated effectively and in a timely manner. The flat was easy to access and included everything as advertised. Comfy bed and sofa bed plus the combo washer/dryer were essential for a stay of several nights. Wonderful location a brief walk to Victoria station - from whence you can get anywhere in the city. Welcome basket of basics provided was a particularly charming touch. Highly recommend for any London visit.

Perfect place!

Super centrally located. We walked everywhere as well as close to jumped on the bus and tube closeby at Victoria spot. Owner has laid it out so perfectly with lots of helpful tips. Couldn’t have been more perfect for our family.

Wonderful place, great location

This wonderful home is well-stocked with amenities, thoughtfully labeled, comfortable and centrally located. 10 min walk to Victoria station. It was clean and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. We stayed as a family of 4 and really enjoyed seeing London while staying here. Highly recommend!

Perfect location and wonderful host

Apartment is in a perfect location out of the hustle and bustle but easy walk to buckingham palace (we were there for the coronation). Appartment was clean and had every amenity we needed. The host provided a welcome basket which was a nice touch so we didn’t have to immediately run to the grocery store. Couldn’t be happier with our stay and will be recommending it to anyone visiting London.

Comfortable stay in London

This is a great apartment centrally located and close to the stations and busses. It has great fittings throughout the apartment. The owners have really made it easy and a welcome pack is provided which allows one to adjust without having to find a shop etc. highly recommended.

A perfect get-away flat near Victoria station

This flat is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood with ease of access to both the Pimlico or Victoria stations (10m walks). The 1 bedroom unit was well equipped with kitchen, living space, and dining area which made for a seamless business trip, and ability to relax in the evenings with the feel of London native. The owner was very prompt on all communications and provided a special breakfast basket on arrival. Would stay again.

workable for two

Nice flat for two with good fridge, washer and shower. Second floor so very challenging to bring two big suitcases up the narrow staircase after a flight from the states. Great communication with owner on a few resolved items. Would stay here again.

Quiet property

Property was pretty quiet for a big city. One of the neighbors was having some renovations done, so a little bit of hammering in the morning and sometimes could hear neighbors talking, but overall pretty quiet and peaceful. Not too far from Victoria coach station and train station so easy to get around.

Lovely flat in great location.

The property met all our requirements. It was close to Victoria Station and walking distance to small shops and places to get a bite to eat. The flat was very clean with extremely specific instructions on where everything was and how everything worked. The place was cozy and comfortable.The host communicated all pertinent information and left some lovely snacks and drinks. Overall, great place.

Spacious and Bright

The owner and her team did everything to make our stay in this beautiful apartment easy and comfortable. The information they provide about the apartment and locality is accurate and useful. Family visit to London

Our family of four (two kids, 11 and 14) enjoyed our six-night stay here. The Pimlico neighborhood is quiet and safe but also close to good restaurants, historical sites, and the underground. The unit had all the necessary amenities, and we really appreciated the welcome basket and bottle of wine! The property managers provided lots of helpful Information about the unit and neighborhood before hand, and we enjoyed the restaurants and pubs they recommended. This flat provided us a quaint little home base to explore the amazing city of London!

Wonderful!

This property is exactly as advertised. Well located and equipped with all conveniences needed in a rental. A bountiful welcome basket of goodies was greatly appreciated. Adrienne has thoughtfully detailed every possible instruction one might need for the apartment as well as transportation needs and things to do in the area. The only issue for some might be the stairs but this was not an issue for us. We would definitely recommend this place!
