Beautiful home located at the heart of Clear Lake City, where Space Center Houston and Johnson Space Center reside. Clear Lake City is home to many astronauts, scientists and other professionals who work at Johnson Space Center. Nestled near the relaxing water of Galveston Bay, yet just minutes from the bustle of Houston, this thriving community offers many amenities for business, families, boating and recreations. There are many family recreation activities like annual ballunar liftoff festival, Kemah boardwalk, Space Center of Houston, Armand Bayou wild life park. There is a thriving bird sanctuary with numerous water fowl at the Armand Bayou wild life park.

Like to sail? To fish? Or just enjoy the breeze off the water? The Clear Lake region is the third largest boating center in the United States, with over 7,700 boat slips available. You can enjoy watersports on Clear Lake with boating access to Galveston bay. Numerous yacht clubs serve the area along with public piers and ramps. Marinas and miles of nearby Nassau Bay shoreline offer some of the best sailing and boating facilities in the Gulf that lead into Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

A Good Stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was well cared for and provided what we needed. The location was exactly where we needed to be. The one issue we had was trying to keep the thermostat set to the temperature that the host asked us to. We are from Boston and visiting Houston in June was very humid, so we were too hot.

One Month in Clear Lake Area

We had a nice stay at this lovely three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home. Lots of room to relax. TV downstairs and 2 TVs upstairs. Two dining tables for easy computer space and eating. Full kitchen for cooking. Covered parking for one car in driveway. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Has washer & dryer. Theresa was very kind and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. Felt very secure and safe in the home and the neighborhood. Thank you for a very nice one month stay at your home.

Great place for a visit to Houston

Here's a list of noteworthy things about our stay. 1) The house was very spacious and nicely decorated. 2) Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with tennis courts. 3) Very comfortable beds and bedrooms. 4) Backyard is lovely with the koi pond. 5) Tea in the rooms was a very nice touch, although I don’t drink tea. 6) Instructions on how to get in were very well written. 7) Kitchen had everything we needed, mostly. Concern - with all of the beautiful, breakable decorations, it's not a good place for kids or older people who are unsteady on their feet. We were constantly afraid of breaking something.

Very quiet and lovely manicured neighborhood. Beautiful home inside and out. would stay again

We felt very secured in the quiet neighborhood. The home was beautifully furnished. Wish we could have enjoyed it more. Would certainly stay there again. Our welcomed person was very nice and showed us where everything was. Thanks again for letting us stay at your home.
