Fabulous updated oceanfront condo location: Kuleana 605 is right on the ocean on Maui's pristine West Coast with gorgeous panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the lovely off-shore islands of Molokai and Lanai.

This luxurious ground floor condo opens onto the lanai just 20 feet from the water’s edge. A private lush manicured lawn is ALL that stands between you and the Pacific. Beautiful updated accommodations await you in this high end unit. The master bedroom has a California king bed and built in dresser. There is an additional comfortable queen sofa bed in the living room.
A fully stocked kitchen and lanai dining await you. The granite counter tops and bamboo cabinets lend a tropical feel without that 'over the top' tropical décor found in many units.
The bathroom is delightful. The dramatic shower invites a cooling down after a day in the sun; drying off with our plush towels.

Our private seasonal beach is just steps away. While you are here, you can explore the amazing sea life in our private snorkel cove. The Kuleana is home to a resident Green Sea Turtle population and turtle sightings are almost guaranteed. Also, we are located on the Au ‘Au Channel where the Humpback Whales have their babies and feed throughout the winter (December - April)...incredible sightings right off the lanai.

Along with our oceanfront and seasonal beachfront, we also have a magnificent full size heated swimming pool. For those that like a little more physical activity, we have a regulation size tennis court, newly resurfaced shuffle board and a ping pong table.

Our oceanfront BBQ's are immaculate but if you prefer dining out there are several restaurants along the lower Honoapiilani Rd; many within walking distance.

In addition to the amenities offered at the Kuleana, the beautiful tropical garden landscaping alone is enough to provide the backdrop for a Hawaiian vacation only dreamed of by many.

This truly is an oceanfront unit!! Set in a beautiful location with a small secluded beach that also happens to be a turtle preserve. Besides turtles we also saw rays swimming at night. The unit is centrally located to many great beaches and amenities.

Heaven in Paradise

Perfect off site location for conference at Hyatt. Unbelievable ocean view, watched sea turtles and breaching humpback whales right off the lanai, extraordinary sunsets, pristine beach to swim in a few steps away, friendly and efficient staff, wonderful neighbors who BBQ’d together, amazing owner and propert was lush and well tended. Wanted to stay forever!

Priceless

My wife and I have been coming to the island of Maui for close to 42 years now and it never gets old. Reeny made our extra couple days special. Her place has magnificent views of the whales and the turtles eating right in front of her condo. We hope to stay here again sometime soon. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.The Bauers

Kuleana is an excellent resort. Very well kept up. Reeny is great to work with and her condos are clean and updated. We had a great time and plan to return!!

Paradise revisited

Stayed here before and consider this one of the best and affordable resorts in west Maui. Love watching the whales from the lanai while eating meals grilled on the bank of drills available. Owner is great to work with and her condos are clean, well equipped and recently updated.

Great Turtle Watching

We loved the ground floor to be able and walk out to the ocean. We saw many turtles and spouting whales. The staff was very friendly and we had very considerate neighbors! I have no complaints but plenty of wonderful memories!

Amazing location

My wife and I got away from the kids to celebrate our anniversary and this was perfect. Beautiful location outside town and big resorts, but close and easy drive to whatever you wanted. Quiet, gorgeous views every morning and evening right outside the window to the ocean- whales and turtles right there! Inside the unit everything was not amazing, but above average and totally worth it for the location!

Great location

We were happy to return to the Kuleana Resort this year, and this time we had this ground floor condo. It’s nice to be able to walk out the sliding door directly onto the lawn to see the turtles in the water directly below. We’re planning to return again! Thanks!

Whales and Turtles Galore

This is s lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. It's our first stay at this location on the island and the first time we've stayed in a ground floor unit. We highly recommend it! We walked out on the lawn to the ocean to watch turtles every day. And sitting on the lanai gave us a direct view of the passing whales. The property owner, Reeny, is very responsive and pleasant. This well be our go to places when we return to the island!

20 steps from the lanai to water!

VRBO pictures sometimes look a lot better online than in life. I can say with certainty the picture from the lanai to the water is completely accurate. The beaches are not huge, but they are very secluded and have plenty of space to spread out. It is also perfectly safe to swim/snorkel from. Each morning at high tide we watch 5-7 turtles come in to eat right in front of us! Amazing!

Best place to stay in Maui!

This was our 2nd time at this particular property. We can’t say enough good things about it and Reeney, the owner. Kuleana is an incredible place to stay. If you get there and the beach happens to be washed out, it is still accessible and so much fun! We put our lawn chairs on the lawn and played in the water, snorkeled, and watched the sea turtles swim by. No matter the conditions. It is a great place to stay. The tiki torches at night is an especially nice touch. The unit is clean, comfortable and has everything that you will need, right down to the Tommy Bahama beach chairs! Mahalo

Wonderful property

We had an excellent stay in Kuleana 605. The check-in instructions were very thorough. The condo was very clean with nice appliances and a modern yet beachy vibe. The grounds were kept very clean and manicured. The folks working at this location were friendly and helpful and it felt very secure. The ocean decided to remove quite a bit of the sand in the northern beach area but the snorkeling was still great and lots of surfing going on just south of the property. It was surprisingly warm for December and were thankful of the AC at bedtime. We had a wonderful stay! A huge Mahalo to the wonderful people of Maui and their huge hearts!

# 605 I believe is the best location in the complex. Views are great, I loved that the front door had a secure screen door you could lock so the trade winds could blow through the condo and we felt safe. The views are great with the sunset and the turtles were neat to watch come up on the shore each night. Its a quiet community I would say its more for couples or older people not small children or young active teens. Everyone was nice but older. Only thing I would add for convince is maybe a spray cleaner to be able to use while you are there to help keep the kitchen sinks wiped down and the bathroom wiped down. Condo was very clean and pleasant.

Nice but Small

Nice location, but no beach access. The snorkel area is a little rough and not user friendly, but it's pretty. The actual condo is very small and not sure you could fit four people with luggage. There were just two of us so it was fine. Bedroom is in the back with no view. Tiny patio with little table and no lounge chairs. Pool in the middle with no beach view. There are a few places that are walkable, but we are active and still chose to drive most places. We still had a nice time and the place was fine.

Hello, fellow Maui lovers. I have been visiting Maui for 30 years. Originally we bought a condo in Maui through our business. When the opportunity presented to purchase my own property, Maui was the natural choice. I have 2 units at the Kuleana and I manage them myself. You will always be dealing directly with me. I live in Seattle with my family but visit Maui and check on my units at least once a year.

I own 2 condo's at the Kuleana. I love this property. I chose the Kuleana after looking at several properties. It has all the amenities of a luxurious high rise resort, but with an intimate Hawaiian feel. The grounds are impeccable and unit 605 was made to order. It is beautiful and if you wanted, you could arrive at Kuleana 605, unpack your bags and never leave the resort.
Everything is just outside your patio door: Seasonal sandy beach, inviting manicured grounds, private swimming and snorkeling cove.
As I look back on my search for a vacation home, I ask myself how I ever even considered any place else.
This condo is perfect....
