Beautiful property grounds, our unit was cozy. My complaint is that some of photos make it seem like it was waterfront. It has a water front view through landscape. Still enjoyable, good breeze. No central air, window unit in bedroom works very well, but the restroom, kitchen/family room is very warm even with ceiling fan running. Wifi is spotty, so ur devices will buffer. The beach and cove have a lot of turtles feeding at different times and is somewhat secluded and less traveled. This makes it feel like a private beach. I would stay here again. Good value.

Beautiful Property

This is an excellent resort with a great location. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept up.. People very friendly. Large pool. Wild turtles swimming by shore every morning. Good swimming for adults on beach out front. The suite needs a good deep cleaning. Outdoor cushions on chair and foot stool have disintegrated. My husband had to clean the overhead fan of its layers of dust. Dryer had handfuls of fluff in basket and pipe. Air conditioner in bedroom was more than we needed. Good cross draft. I would return to this location.

AC in bedroom was very loud. Fan clicking and either on high or off-not adjustable. The couch bed very uncomfortable. Space is very limited and I paid more than my son who got a much better unit nearby for less

Sunset is Glorious!

The beautiful views are amazing! Close to a beach and the residents were absolutely friendly. The pool was right outside the door. Chairs and fins were there! Had a wonderful time! Some difficulties we had: parking spaces were so small that if you touch on a line, you get a ticket! I received 2 tickets. I relied on my daughter to open the door because I couldn’t figure out the stupid code locking mechanism. The bathroom door needs a handle screwed on it. That would help with being able to shut it. AC does not make it into the living room. View still was worth it all though!

Great gem in Lahaina

This property was ideally located in the center of Lahaina. Easy access to restaurants and beaches. You can walk to your destination but the roads were quite narrow for pedestrians. Parking is limited at night when people turn in for the evening. It took a while to understand the condo access but it was easy once you get it. The area is quiet and well manicured. The pool is clean and big. There are BBQ pits by the shore if you want to grill by the water and watch beaching whales, turtles, or the occasional surfer. I wish this place was upgraded more with more counter space and less furniture but it's hawaii and things aren't as necessary. Also the bathroom sink gets backed up often with no draino in sight. Also more bath towels for a family of four is needed. At least 8 because women wrap hair and body, that would be beneficial than washing often and wasting electricity. Other than that we loved the location and the condo.

A very pleasant and peaceful stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is a small but very private beach head just at the back of the property. Love to spend time there every morning watching the waves and small crabs. A bit of a drive away from the centre of the island but also away from the busy part of Maui. 5 mins north of Lahaina Gateway Mall where there is a Safeway nearby, Verizon where we got our SIM card for our duration in Maui. There are BBQ in the common area where guests cook their meals. Maintenance staff clean the BBQ everyday. Staff in the office is very friendly and helpful.Swimming pool is clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay. The suite was decorated with beautiful Hawaiian art and the view of the sunset from the lanai was spectacular. We loved the spacious shower and the comfortable mattress. There were books, movies, games, and even beach chairs and snorkel gear to keep us entertained. The only things that seemed to be missing were potholders in the kitchen (unless we couldn’t find them) and teaspoons, so we soldiered on and stirred our coffee with the generous supply of tablespoons. We would happily stay again. The people at Destinations Maui were great to deal with and very helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for our honeymoon in Kuleana Resort 501 for a week.The resort was well located and very well mantained. The condo was clean and exactly as described. The bathroom was new but the furniture and the kitchen could be more updated. I would also suggest to clear some space because the apartment and the closets were packed with the owner's personal stuff. We had some trouble with the remote control adjustable bed, because one of the sides wasn't working so it was extremelly soft and uncomfortable. Apart form that, we had a great time and would defintely recommend Kuleana as a place to relax and stay in Maui.

Great location

Too much furniture in the bedroom makes it hard to move around. Right side of bed Lists to the right. Way too many pots and pans for the kitchen space. They were stored all over the unit. No counter space. Microwave was dead on arrival. Need hot pads. No laundry soap but housekeeping says to start the laundry. . Absolutely can’t beat the location.

Great location

My family really had a blast staying here. We saw many turtles, spent lots of time playing in the ocean or the pool, trips to Lahaina, it was all fantastic. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them while we barbecued. Hope to come been again soon!

Gorgeous View and Stunning Grounds!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kuleana Resort in Unit #501. The view of the ocean from the living room and the lanai was absolutely beautiful and the sunsets over the ocean were stunning. We loved sitting out on the lanai each morning sipping our tea, watching the birds, admiring the flowers, and relishing the gorgeous view, and lovely landscaping. The pool area is also beautiful and well maintained. Kuleana Resorts is located in a great spot within a quick drive to some of the best snorkeling bays and swimming beaches on this side of Maui. The unit had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed, a great shower and the plus of having an in-unit washer and dryer. The kitchen had all the pots and pans, dishes, and utensils we needed as we cooked most of our own meals. We would have appreciated some basic supplies like oil, and salt and pepper, so just be aware that you'll need to purchase everything if you intend to cook. We so appreciated having 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach towels available for our use. All in all, we would highly recommend this unit for its convenient location, the beauty of the grounds, the pool, and the gorgeous view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Spectacular VIEW!!

The view was worth it all! While our property was somewhat dated and we had trouble with some appliances in the unit, the staff could not have been more helpful in getting it fixed. They checked with us numerous times to see if we were okay.

That Knick knacks are very cluttered. Dresser half filled with christmas decorations. 3 times as much stuff as even a great cook needs, 7 spatulas, 24 glasses ...leaving not one space for a box of crackers or any food. Love kuleana!

Peacefull Retreat With Awesome View

My unit was only four doors down from my son and family so it was so easy to share time together. Really nice pool which we enjoyed every day after adventures at the beaches. Disappointed that there wasn’t a beach here. Supplied everything I needed!

Great little place and property was wonderful. Small double bed in master but it is a sleep number. Very comfy. Nice big pool. Small beach but very private and full of green sea turtles! I want to come back!

Nice property & location

The grounds are immaculate, the unit itself is the perfect size for up to 2 grownups and a small child, and the kitchen is well stocked w/pans/utensils. The one window unit a/c in the bedroom is great for that room only, hut the rest of the condo is overly warm. There is an additional floor fan you can use, but the overhead feiling fan in the living area only works randomly & needs maintenance every few days..,it just stops working altogether. Also, be careful to park cokpletely within the lines of the pkg spaces as they ticketfor any car on or over the lines. I saw tickets on cars for backing into spaces too, so 'head in' parking only, please. The pool is gorgeous, the bbq grills are great, and the resort is really nice. Would stay here again for sure.

Can’t beat this cozy ocean view condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great experience. The condo was just the right size for 2, had all the right amenities and everything you would need in a kitchen. The view as you walk out of the patio is incredible, pure blue ocean. The area is very quiet and relaxed which we enjoyed. The maintenance of the grounds around the condo were impeccable. The pool is steps away and not overcrowded. The condo was comfortable but the only opportunity was that the only air conditioning was in the bedroom so the living room did get quite hot, although were multiple fans to use. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The beach was incredible, quiet and full of green seat turtles! We snorkeled allmost daily.
