Best apartment we've ever rented in Thailand
The first thing you notice on entering the apartment is that it looks exactly like the photos on the site. Spacious, clean and high quality fittings throughout, really important for a long-term let. We stayed 3 months and could have stayed longer. A big plus is the European style and comfort level mattresses on the beds (definitely not the usual thin cheap type people put in rental condos). The pool is great, a good size, cleaned regularly and normally pretty quiet as most people head to the beach. The permanent residents and fellow holiday guests were always friendly and welcoming and full of handy tips for the local area.
The owner organised our taxi pick-up from Bangkok which made our arrival that bit smoother. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, from the initial contact, through the booking process and during our stay. He is an absolute gent, on-hand if you ever needed anything (even just advice on the local area) but kept his distance when he wasn't needed. Friendly, professional and an invaluable source of info on all things Hua Hin.
The location of the condo suited us perfectly, situated to the south of Hua Hin centre, less than a ten minute cab or tuk tuk ride and only 150 baht (£3). There is also the local bus service at 10 baht (20p) which you can pick up only a five minute stroll from the condo. The beach is a few minutes walk and if golf is your thing then there is a course a ten minute walk away. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops and 7/11s are a short stroll.
The condo is in a quiet location, we view that as a good thing, away from the main bustle of Hua Hin but still convenient for everything. We can't recommend the condo enough, from the interior fittings, the location and most of all for an owner who clearly appreciates what guests need.
