The ultimate in social distancing! Casual Cape's cape cod style home has four bedrooms and three full baths, and is perfect for your family vacation or reunion. Casual Cape sits on an acre of beautifully landscaped lawn dotted with shade trees. The lot provides a view of the lake, located across the street. Located on a private road on the east side of the island.

Location excellent. Quiet peaceful like park setting. Home is large, Lots of indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Great place for barbecue. 7 minutes by golf cart to all locations downtown. Great property management and would stay again on next trip.

Perfect place for a lake getaway away - nice quiet location

A lovely place to stay for families or friends. Our group of 10 (five couples) found this property to be super comfortable with a great layout and plenty of linens that were soft and fresh. Perfect location for a laid back and relaxing stay! Owners were friendly, attentive to the property and easy going.

Bash on the Bay stay

Fantastic Place

Very quiet area a 1-mile walk from the Perry memorial. We really liked the proximity to 2 nature preserves (Massie and Scheef). Everything was clean and all appliances worked properly. Host was communicative and provided suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Plenty of space for yard games. Our family had a great time here.

Quaint and Quiet

Very quaint home off the beaten path. Accomodated my family of 11 very comfortably. Includes all the amenities you would need. Jill was very kind and very responsive to all the questions I had.

Family time!

It was the right size and space for ages 2.5 to 70. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play, and for the adults to relax and catch up. Short walk to Lake Erie and hiking trails. The owner was helpful, and answered questions promptly.

The house was great for 3 couples. In a quiet area and just a short distance from downtown.

The layout of the house was perfect, with 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen table to gather and play games. Our only disappointment was that we could not use the washer and dryer and only had 1 set of towels per person for our 4 night stay.

The place worked out perfectly for us. We were close to the downtown area where all of the bars, restaurants, attractions are located, but still provided a secluded environment that provided privacy and quiet time. The place was clean, and we enjoyed the living room and family room as well as the screened in patio--great places to hang out and spend time with friends and family. I liked having multiple areas to congregate.The hosts were always available but never intrusive. This was my first vrbo experience, and I was very happy with my stay. I expect I will return to Put-in-Bay again, and I hope this property will be available when I do.

Nice, Quiet Place at the Bay

This property is neat and tidy and far enough away from the "fun" to get a good nights rest. We were a group of 4 couples, however it is a very family friendly location as well. We used the coffee pot, but mostly ate out so we did not use the kitchen supplies. There is also a grill and outdoor layout/patio furniture. I love the cottage feel of the houses on the Bay, this one is no different. Down a long, lane so no street, taxi or crazy cart noise. Jill was super responsive and check in was a breeze. Will definitely consider again in the future.

PIB Get Away

My family and I love to visit PIB we wanted to stay somewhere different to change from hotels. I found this amazing house that was perfect for everyone to have their own space. It was PERFECT. 4 Bedrooms and # bathrooms made it feel like home away from Home and no one had to wait or put up shower schedules. Very Clean!! Jill met us at the property and gave us the run down of the rules and asked us to use the bags she supplied for bedding and towels which was nice. We had a great time, used every room in the house for gathering or quiet time and the beds were comfy. Definitely hope its available with our next stay. Thank you Jill and Dave for opening your home to us and allowing my family and our friends to have a great place to stay during our visit.

A beautiful quite stay late in the season

The casual cape is a wonderful place to stay. Located, on a quite private road away from downtown with walking distance to hiking trails and the lake. The house was very clean, and has plenty of room to house lots of guests. The house also includes a large kitchen and multiple sitting rooms and areas to hangout with friends and family. Jill and Dave were wonderful to work with, Jill walked us through the house and offered us her recommendations for places to go and visit. We stayed for two weeks late in the island season, and we had no trouble finding things to do with the ability to walk to the lake or ride our bikes into town. We also had family stay with us for a few days during our visit. We rented a golf cart which, is really a great way to get around and tour the island. Should we make a trip back to the island we will definitely be staying at the casual cape again.

Great property in a quiet setting on PIB

Great , clean home on PIB which is hard to find. Quiet neighborhood and a perfect get away from the noise and craziness of downtown. Sleeps 6 adults perfectly and the owner is easy to work with and very responsive.
