A Very Nice House

We loved the pool. We were in it often. We found the property manager to be very prompt, very attentive, very focused on his desire to provide an excellent experience for his guests, very honest. This was our fifth stay in Marco, so you can tell that we love the area. Our visitors - first family & then long-time friends - all really enjoyed the property.

Great property for a family

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this place. It was big with plenty of room for our family, and close to everything. The pool was fantastic, and the owner provided lots of amenities - bikes, beach chairs, fishing poles, etc. We loved it!

Quirky Charm and Waterfront Wonders

So, we booked a week at this property, and let me tell you, it was an adventure of its own! Here's the scoop: First off, the good stuff - this place is decked out! I'm talking kitchen gadgets galore, shelves packed with beach reads, and enough beach toys and fishing gear to rival a tackle shop. Plus, it's a stone's throw from both the grocery store and the beach - nice! And let's talk location - it's like having your own little slice of paradise right on the water, complete with a boat dock. Fish from your backyard? Yes, please! Now, onto the not-so-great bits. We're all for rustic charm, but this place needed a little love. The pool deck was peeling like a banana, the bathroom's popcorn ceiling was staging a great escape, and let's just say we got a little too familiar with our mop during daily bathroom floor cleaning sessions. We did give the owner a heads-up, and they promised to spruce things up ASAP. Still, for the cleaning fee we shelled out, we were hoping for a bit more sparkle. But hey, all in all, it was a memorable stay.

Fantastic

We had a wonderful stay last week in Marco Island. The property and the home was spectacular. Everything was very clean and up-to-date. We had the convenience of using bicycles, beach, chairs, and even coolers. The pool was very nice and we were minutes from the beach. We would definitely stay here again thanks so much Don and Joan for sharing your home with us.

The owners have thought of every last detail with this vacation property. Started our days with coffee in the beautiful and warm pool, then walked Marco Island Beaches with the rest of the day sightseeing or just relaxing. Canal view is just beautiful! Owners respond immediately; this is a very best buy in Marco Island ! All of the frills without all the bills !

Winter getaway!

We loved staying on Marco Island and our host was wonderful! The house is lovely and comfortable! We loved the heated pool and canal views! Not a problem for us but of note the house looks quite different from the Vrbo listing… different furniture and has been extensively decorated. This didn’t bother us but was surprising when compared to the listing. We had a great trip and would highly recommend this place!!!

Amazing Getaway

My husband and I spent the month of January at this lovely home. It was a wonderful experience! The house is located within walking distance of the public entrance to the beach and within biking distance of the Wednesday Farmer's Market on the Island. It is also within walking distance of the public library and the Marco Island Historical Museum. In addition, we were able to enjoy four outings to the Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve, which took under an hour's drive. The house itself had everything we could have hoped for and more. The kitchen was outfitted with a wide variety of appliances and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The floor plan was ideal for our circumstances and when our two daughters, their spouses and our 18 month old granddaughter visited, we had more than adequate room. We can't speak highly enough of Don, our host, who promptly answered our questions and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We are planning a return trip in 2025.

Enjoyed our stay in Marco.

Very nice property with a heated pool and new dock. The property has 3 bathrooms but one is located bewteen the kitchen and garage. It is loacted on San Marco Drive which is a main traffic route.

As Described, well equipped for a family stay

Pool was great, kitchen well equipped, easy access to get around. Boat lift not yet functional which would have made loading and unloading the boat much easier. Would book again.

Christmas vacation

My family stayed here over Christmas and this place was beyond our expectations. Very clean and spacious. Close to everything and the house has everything included. Don the host was amazing and very easy to access for any questions. The house has been completely updated with new furniture and a beautiful dock with a boat lift. If your looking for a place to stay in Marco Island don’t let this place slip by. I highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you again Don and family for making our Christmas vacation amazing!

Fantastic place

The host (Don) and the property were great. Don is easily accessible to answer any questions. The house is newly furnished and themed with a nautical and beach home feel that creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The living room TV is large and has a sectional with electronic push button recliners. Also a small library area off the living room with plenty of books and two massage chairs. The pool area was wonderful, water was warm and screened in so no bugs. Out back there is a huge brand new dock that we took advantage of and rented a boat that they dropped off right at the house. The kitchen is well stocked. Anything I could've thought of needing I was able to find, including a fan, luggage stands, cooler, gas grill, and plenty of extra towels and linens. We really enjoyed our time there. I had other family here vacationing on the island and they were able to come by and hang out for cocktails around the pool some evenings and enjoy the home and pool as well. We couldn't have asked for a better place stay. We were a little bit sad to leave at checkout. It's really the type of place you wish you could stay forever.

Perfect location, great property!

Perfect location between the grocery store, bait store, shopping and the beaches. I am an avid fisherman and spent the mornings and evenings seeing what I could catch. Lots of action! My family LOVED the accommodations. We went to the beach during the day and came home and jumped in the pool before and after dinner. We were able to take advantage of the Comcast cable and internet as well. The property managers were very responsive and very friendly. Check in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend this location!

Marco Island Trip

The property was very clean ,and was everything that was listed. The pool and the view were great. Would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Marco Island. We had a great time.. Don the Host, was very easy to communicate with, during our stay.

Very relaxing

The house is well stocked! The bikes were nice to use. There was a water pressure issue that happened early in the morning (6am-7am), our theory is it happens when every house in the neighborhood turns their sprinklers on, but we worked around it. Door locks could be replaced, especially on the sliding doors. We loved our time there.

Relaxing!

This property afforded us some much-needed relaxation! The property owner is so kind and responsive! When we asked him if the property had box fans (which our family uses to sleep); he offered to reimburse us for them since the property did not previously have them (and he was sure to do that right away). We watched dolphins play while drinking our coffee poolside. The kids enjoyed riding bikes to the beach. We took many walks and ate some delicious seafood at the many nearby restaurants. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation or for a more welcoming and accommodating host! I will most certainly recommend this property to friends and family, and we hope to visit again!
