Downtown Loft in the Heart of Historic Hendersonville! Best Main St Location!

Welcome to the A Loft at 108 N Main St in historic downtown Hendersonville. Built at the turn of the century by W J Davis, this 120 year old building offers you a comfortable space blending old world charm with modern amenities. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, full kitchen, dining and living room apartment provides all comforts while visiting our vibrant town. Our walk-able downtown features unique shopping, entertainment, a mixture of eating and drinking locations, all right out your front doorstep. The apartment has it's own parking spaces (2 vehicles in tandem). Within a short drive, there are several parks, hiking and other activities. Make this your vacation home while visiting our beautiful mountains.

The A-Loft is the back unit of two condos in the building over downtown retail (Homestead Linens). Located in the heart of downtown Hendersonville across from the historic courthouse. Walk to everything downtown has to offer.

Entire apartment and parking for 2 vehicles (in tandem behind apartment). Note: On second floor with no elevator: PLEASE be comfortable with STAIRS. (Historic building)

Unique shops, restaurants, cafe's, bars, children's museum and aquarium, and all the other amenities of downtown are right at your front door. Please note that Downtown Hendersonville is active at night and Oklawaha brewery often has live music, mostly on weekends. The music is not generally heard in the bedrooms and ends at about 11:00. Easy drive to Flat Rock Playhouse & Carl Sandburg Historic site including trails and hiking.

No vehicle needed for downtown area, but a car is suggested for all the amenities and sites in the mountains. Public transportation is minimal.

Note: On second floor with no elevator: PLEASE BE COMFORTABLE WITH STAIRS.
Common building hallway has cameras. There are NO cameras inside the loft.

The location was perfect with great restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive to DuPont for waterfalls and hiking. Apartment was comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the downtown location. We stayed during the week.

Delightful Loft Where Outdoor Adventures meet Small-Town Charm

We absolutely loved our stay at this downtown loft! We traveled with our teen sons, who are avid hikers, and this place was perfect for all of us for its proximity to DuPont and Pisgah forests.The location is unbeatable-right in the heart of downtown Hendersonville, just steps away from great restaurants, local shops, and a friendly, walkable area. We enjoyed coffee at Black Bear Cafe, browsed bookstores & boutiques, enjoyed amazing meals, live music at Oklawaha Brewing, games at the Pinball Museum, and watched fireflies at dusk, and all without needing the car.The home itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a home away from home. Everything we needed was right there, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy beds and fast Wi-Fi (important when traveling with teens!).Best of all, we were just minutes from the entrance to the national forest. Our sons were in heaven with the nearby trails, and we were able to spend our days hiking through stunning scenery and then return for a relaxing evening in town. Travel was made easier with 2 reserved parking spots.The hosts were warm, responsive, and made sure we felt completely welcomed and well taken care of. We've stayed in many places, and this one stands out as truly special.We highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and small-town charm.

Our New Hendersonville Favorite!

Hendersonville has been a favorite of ours for years. We love the pedestrian-friendly Main Street with its restaurants and shops and have stayed just off Main Street before but never in such a great place. Some places rely on location and reserved parking to make up for so-so accommodations. That is NOT the case here. From the exposed brick charm to a small but comfortable kitchen with all the conveniences to a comfortable king bed, this loft felt more like a friend's vacation house loaned for the weekend than a rental.The furnishings were substantial: a beautifully broken in leather sofa and two solid chairs were great for curling up and watching TV during the rainy evenings.I can see us returning to this property for years to come.

Such a gem

This is our second visit to this amazing loft. The fact that we wanted to go back for a second visit and stay speaks to the comfort and quality. Location is perfect with access and the ability to walk to any shops or restaurants in town. It is on the main street, but totally private and quiet at night. It is easy to travel nearby hiking areas as well as Asheville. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area is relaxed and tastefully decorated to create a cozy atmosphere. Everything feels like home. The communication is great, and we know if we want to return to the area we will try to stay in this loft.
