Spacious and comfortable, family/group-friendly rental for up to 10 guests, perfect for vacations, retreats or work trips. Enjoy a serene mountain getaway with all the essential amenities.

Accommodations:
4 Bedrooms: New beds and pillow-top mattresses for comfort.
Living Spaces: Upstairs living room and downstairs lounge with smart tvs, movies and games. The lounge has a queen pull-out sofa for an additional sleeping option.
There is a home office space for and high speed wifi.
The separate game room has a pool table, dartboard and family games in the heated garage.

An outdoor picnic area is a private spot for meals in nature, with a comfy hammock and a horse shoe pit for more entertainment.

Amenities:
Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, laundry room, fresh bedding and towels. We supply all paper goods, soaps and shampoo.

A new air conditioner and full-house generator for year-round comfort.
The wide, flat driveway fits 4 vehicles (or 3 vehicles + a boat).
The cabin is minutes from Lake Almanor for swimming, fishing and boating.

Minimum Stay: 3 nights (4-7 in summer).

Amazing Stay!

Our group had an amazing stay at Cindy's property. It was clean, great amenities, and the host communications were above and beyond. We ended up extending our stay twice and the process was quick and seamless. Highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here in the future!

This was a great house for our family gathering. Cindy was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The man cave (converted garage with AC) was fun to hang out in and play pool/darts and our adult kids loved playing poker in the downstairs game area. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Very well stocked. Home is slightly dated and master bath/shower could use some upgrades but overall it was a great place for our family (6 adults) vacation. Loved that we could park our boat in driveway also.

Great house by the lake

Our family of four enjoyed this spacious, comfortable and well equipped house by the lake for a vacation. The AC was great for the hot days and the games room was great for the day it rained! Great location close to the lake, quiet and scenic. We’d stay again. Thanks for having us.

Country Club Casual Cabin

Enjoyed our annual family outing in this well maintained cabin in Lake Almanor Country Club. The property was well stocked, provided amble parking, a boat slip and Cindy was terrific in communicating during the entire week. Thank you Cindy.

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cedar Ridge. This was our second stay here. It has a great floor plan. Kitchen has 2 empty pantries to story your food items. A large dining table to accommodate many diners. The game room garage was a big hit with many family members. Homeowner was super easy to communicate with. Very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

What a perfect getaway!! We really enjoyed our stay. We have a mixed party of 9 and the accommodations and space was perfect for everyone. The home was very clean and welcoming. Plenty of activities to enjoy in and away from the cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and gathering around the dinner table in the evening and playing board games after a long day at the beach! Cindy is a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive. We will be back!!

Great place

I booked this property for 6 of my employees who were working in Chester for 2 weeks. It was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything they needed and they enjoyed the game room. From my perspective as an employer it was better than booking multiple hotel rooms. The cost was better, my employees were comfortable and well rested and we felt that the vehicles were safe. We were able to extend our stay for another week when the project went longer. Communication with the owner was great as well!

Very clean

First impression was property was very clean and well maintained. Location was close to golf and beach-rec areas. Cindy the owner was readily available for questions or concerns. Size was nice for 6 adults and 4 kids 6,7,7and 11 years old. Had a cool man cave (detached garage) not so good for our young kids but very nice. Kitchen was wellequipped . Property was well depicted .

Great vacation home by the lake

When we decided to go to Lake Almanor, it was late in the season and we couldn't find many rentals. We were a little nervous booking this home, but we couldn't have been happier. We had two families staying at the house. It was well equipped for cooking and also for play. We got great use out of the pool table and the hammock. The lake was easy to access and there we were able to park our boat across the street. We wish we could have stayed another week and we wish we could have brought our dog. Other than that, it was perfect and we'd like to return next year.

Can't wait to visit again!

Our time visiting Lake Almanor was amazing thanks in no small part due to the amazing home and our hostess, Cindy. The highlight of this property is the kitchen, dining area, and the living room. It was extremely comfortable and roomy. Our visit was to go snowshoeing and our timing was perfect with a couple of feet of new snow! When we returned, the large fireplace helped to make our downtime relaxing. Evening entertainment was playing pool and darts in the "Mancave." It was great fun, but the space isn't insulated and doesn't have any heat. Something to be mindful of when visiting in cold-weather times. We had so much fun, and would highly recommend the Lake Almanor Country Club to anyone considering visiting this beautiful part of California. Cindy will go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is splendid.

Overall Great Experience!

This property was exactly what were looking for and was the perfect family get away. Unfortunately our trip was planned right in the middle of this year's horrible wild fires so we were stuck with dense smoke and our trip got delayed by one day due to a PGE PSPS. Our host / property owner was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process! Her communication was prompt and informative and she was very reasonable, respectful, super easy to communicate with, and also very accommodating to our needs and to the changing dynamics of the trip due to external factors that none of us had any control over. The house was exactly as described online and we were so thankful to have the pool table, dart board, cards, and board games to keep the kids entertained and the whole family laughing while we were stuck inside due to the hazardous amount of smoke outdoors. While we didn't get to see much of the lake this trip we were still able to have a great time, and we most definitely plan to book this house again for a return trip next summer. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Secluded and beautiful

Sure, there were neighbors...but we didn't hear them and couldn't see a soul from the windows. This neighborhood feels really exclusive, yet it's cozy and warm. With the two couches, our family fit comfortably. Beds were comfy and it was easy to sleep with the quiet neighborhood. The kids loved the downstairs den. We were close to everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. A few things to note: - No one in our family wanted to sleep on the futon in the garage, so I wouldn't plan on that as an extra bed. - There's a lot of sap (because there's a lot of trees!), so plan on kicking your shoes off and cleaning them - and your car - once you get home. - The owners leave you a key card for the gate, so once you're in just grab that and it will be easy to get in the gate for the rest of your visit. - If you want to use the King room as your master, you'll be sharing a bathroom with the other folks downstairs. Thanks for a great visit - we would definitely stay again!

Pluses and Minuses, Consider carefully

In the plus column - small but well-stocked kitchen with good appliances and everything you would need to cook and clean with. Good laundry room and game room. The bonus room in the garage is decent, but hot. The picture of the house is confusing, and perhaps misleading. It is actually the back of the house, which you would never see unless you go out into the back yard. The front of the house is below the street level with a short steep driveway down. Not enough parking for a large group, and definitely not enough parking if you have a boat or Jet Ski. There are 3 bedrooms, but really only 2 with beds large enough for 2. There is plenty of futon and couch sleeping, if you have kids. The yard is all dirt - we didn't use it at all for that reason. The house is good for groups, but families might want a place with a better yard.

Quiet and peaceful getaway

The location in the gated community is easy to find and the kids enjoyed the rec areas and especially the game room. Cindy was very receptive to messages and a great host.

Wonderful and Enjoyable

Our stay here was fantastic. Cindy had the driveway plowed for us so that we could easily access the property, as there was quite a bit of snow. She was also very helpful and attentive while we were there. The home was well equipped with everything we could need for cooking and sleeping. Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect family getaway

I do not even know where to start. I’ll start with Cindy. She was so nice and prompt with communication. It made the process feel so much more connected. I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was for celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. There were abundant areas to relax or play after we were done at the beach or boating. The kitchen was so well set up and functional. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Perfect location and home

4 friends on a yearly outing, we stayed at this property for 3 nights. The house is a great location for us, we were picked up by our fishing guide at Rec II for two days on the lake, about a three minute drive with lots of parking. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped (prior to going I asked the owner, Cindy, if there was a dbl boiler for my hollandaise sauce, I really did nor mind bringing mine, but she bought one for the kitchen prior to our arrival!) We were looking forward to darts and pool, but never got to it, the deck and living room area were so comfortable for our down time, we did check out the 49er appointed recreation room; however, we never played. Lovely and comfortable home for an outing of friends/family. Thanks Cindy!

When we bought this house I visualized a place where my 2 sons would want to enjoy it with us. We Set it up with all the perks like WiFi, 2 Smart TV's, a pool table, BBQ, and private picnic area with a hammock. The summer concert program keeps them coming back.
I'm enjoying learning the local topography, bird calls, observing the abundant wildlife and learning the diverse assortment of trees and plants that make up this beautiful Lassen National Forest. So after living on the California coast forever, I am now learning the mountain version af all things great and small.
Sport fishing is my husband's calling. Trolling for the bite in Lake Almanor is the ultimate relaxation for him.
Lake Almanor is where we all want to be! We are opening up this special place to you as your own private retreat! We know you will love it as much as we do, for 4 day getaways or a week or a even a month if you want to really become 1 with the area and enjoy the slow pace mountain living.
It is actually more affordable to book an entire house with privacy and all the amenities than staying in a cramped hotel room and paying for all of your meals out.
