Great accommodations

Great stay! Clean condo, comfortable beds, perfect location. Only thing that could make it better was AC. Although some strategically placed fans help tremendously. Would stay again.

Fantastic Time!

Our family had a wonderful time on the property. The area really fit our needs and the condo had everything we desired plus more! I would definitely recommend this to one and all and we hope that we we can come again someday !

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

Beautiful, spacious home in a great location. Great snorkeling on a hidden beach 5 minute walk, We saw turtles every venture. Gorgeous sunsets, convenient location. Staff are responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and Quiet

The condo was very nice and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable. View of the ocean was fantastic for whale watching. Beware that there are stairs no matter which floor you’re on - we thought ground floor would equal easy access…no, it was 3 flights down. Also could use some updating (paint, fixtures). Otherwise, it was perfect and we’d stay again.

2nd time a 107

Great stay with great views.... grass level is the win. Owner upgraded from our last stay to installing a Mini SPlit AC system which was a win. Comfort level for my wife and I was the bed was too soft so we slept in the spare room.

The condo was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. The views were beautiful.

The grounds were well kept and the pool was fun for the kids. The hike down to hideaways beach is steep for little ones but we made it just fine with young kids. The beach is well worth it. Keep in mind there is no air conditioning but not many condos in Kauai have that. We were plenty cool at night with the fans even during summer. It's a close drive to stores and restaurants. We had a great time here.

Wonderful stay

We loved this condo. It is very spacious with wonderful views of the ocean from the open concept kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and the large dining room. There’s two large patio doors in the living room and dining room to enhance the view. We found it to be very private and quiet to enhance our experience. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. The master ensuite has a oversized walk in shower. It’s wonderful to just lie in bed and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks below, lulling you to sleep. A wonderful vacation retreat.

Terrible sleep

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m not sure what sick and twisted individual created the beds in this Airbnb but I’m pretty sure they’re wanted for committing war crimes. Not only did the bed slope such that our feet were more elevated that our heads, but the middle of the bed caved in like quicksand. If you’d told me I was being pranked I would’ve believe it. The drier didn’t dry the clothes, the walls were chipped, and other minor things were out of order but the beds were offensively old and worn. Seriously, I’m pretty sure sleeping on the floor would’ve been a better solution.

Puu Poa is definitely oceanfront

Nice enough condo but only 1 tv and it was ANALOG. A nice smart Samsung tv and not upgraded to digital. Plus no extra key so had to keep using the key from the lockbox. Also not aware the pool was not available to use.

Amazing location and views

We loved this condo. It was really big and a great location! Full kitchen with everything you would need. Beach chairs to use. I feel bad not giving 5 stars but I just couldn’t with the way that we slept. We were here with another couple and we both woke up each morning with sore backs, and had a hard time sleeping. The beds are extremely soft. I would 100% recommend this place if the beds were changed to something with more support and firmness, but as much as I loved it I here I couldn’t sleep here again. After playing and hiking all day you need a good nights sleep. If the owners changed the beds I would give 5 stars and return over and over! I love Kauai and this Princeville location was awesome!

Great location not so great condo

Starting with the good....Location was awesome - steps to Hideaways and St. Regis. Best views of the Na Pali coast!! Sunsets were also amazing. I’ve stayed on North Shore of Kauai several times with lovely condo experiences - this building is in need of updating. Overall accomodations were very disappointing. Kitchen was good and living room had real couches to sit on instead of the wicker ones you usually get. Washer/dryer worked well. Now for the negatives...Beds were like marshmallows that sucked you in with zero support. Difficult to sleep on. Dining room chairs were wobbly - we were afraid to sit in them. There was no blender if you enjoy making frozen drinks. Dining room windows leaked/gushed water (while closed) with every rain because gutter above it was broken. Master bedroom window also leaked - we had to use towels to stop water from coming in. (This was normal rain too - nothing storm related.) There are no windows in the bathrooms. There is no air conditioning which isn’t usually a big deal but because 107 was a basement level condo there was zero air circulation. The fans provided were broken, dusty and jet-engine loud. Hardly paradise to match the location. For the price - there are better options.

The main couch is leatherette (feels like plastic...) and torn all along the bottom. It looks very cheap. The other sofas seem to be old furniture from a second hand store. Kitchen is huge- we didn’t cook at all. Master bedroom is a bit odd with only a shutter instead of a wall or door on one side- not very private. Very nice bed, mattress comfortable and lovely Hawaiian quilt. Second bedroom is very small and feels dark. It’s odd there is no patio, only grass. Pool very nice. Location excellent.

But place was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view here are amazing, even a first floor unit. However, the negatives of this unit outweigh the positives, even considering the view.Furnishings and appliances are outdated, seemingly from the 90’s era, and not updated since.Rusting appliances and window hinges everywhere. Inadequate supply of toiletries for 4 people and 4 days. 2 tiny bottles of shampoo didn’t cut it, and we ran out of soap. The lack of AC is a huge negative, and despite the listing it appeared the vast majority of the units in this complex do have AC. Lots of fans, but several didn’t work, and they did not keep it comfortable. The kitchen was woefully inadequate, with no cookie sheets, terrible knives, no salt, pepper or other seasonings, no storage containers. Not possible to truly prepare meals in this kitchen. Doors and screens were in disrepair, really tough to open and close. One set did not lock, meaning a security risk at night. Worst of all, we were not notified of ongoing severe construction just outside the back patio, making our patio inaccessible from 8a-4p each day, and unpleasant during the day due to noise. Would recommend others stay away from this unit unless location and view is all you care about it. Looked like most units in this complex were superior to this one.

Great Location

This was a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic. Right on the water. The condo is a great size, has everything you need. As others noted, it is very dated…the kind of dated where it doesn’t feel very clean even though it’s spotless. And this place was spotless! Probably a new paint job would cure that. The view is incredible. Ocean from every front window. We looked for whales everyday, but didn’t see one. I bet in the height of the season there would be such a fantastic show in front. I do have to say we admired the upper floor condos as we walked to the pool. They seem to all have a giant lanai with tables and chairs outside. This condo has grass in front with no real inviting place to sit. There is a nice (and clean!) grill provided, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Someone else mentioned the soft bed. I never thought of myself as a firm mattress lover (in fact ours at home is probably right in the middle)…the mattresses in this condo are very soft. Like you sink in when you lay down. If you know you are a firm mattress person, you might consider another condo. No AC, but the fans in the bedrooms were just great. Never felt hot. The pool is nothing to write home about. But it’s a pool…on the ocean. So there’s that. Overall we had a great stay. Awesome location in Princeville and beautiful views to be seen every morning you wake up.
