Nicely furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo (988 sq ft) with a great view from a south-facing balcony.
10-25 mins away from Copper Mountain, Keystone, A-Basin Breckenridge Resorts.

This is Colorado mountain country at it's best. Minutes away from the beautiful Lake Dillon Reservoir, with plenty of great outdoor summer activities including swimming, fishing, sailing, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, golfing (number of nearby courses), fly fishing, and more. Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, skating, and ice fishing.

10-25 minutes away from world class Colorado ski resorts (fun in both summer & winter!)

During the summer, watch sailboats on the Dillon Reservoir or take the Water Taxi that runs between the Dillon and Frisco Marinas. If you enjoy shopping, try Keystone's River Run Village or the Outlets at Silverthorne. Dine in at one of Summit County's many restaurants, or enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the peaceful landscape.

This place is finished and decorated in a very nice way. The bed was comfortable and smelled clean, as did the bathroom towels and the interior of the place. We spent several days, and the only minor irritation was the occasional footsteps of the person(s) living on the upper floor. The views from the balcony are not great, but great nearby trails and nice views of the mountains are not too far away. Check-in and instructions were great.

Nice space but could've been cleaner

The place was set up lovely, had a wonderful view, and was great for what we needed. However, the condo could have been cleaner. There was dog poop on the balcony, a crunchy yellow stain on the throw blanket on the bed, and when i wiped up a water spill on the bedroom floor the white rag came back brown. We were almost out of toilet paper on the first day and there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms when we arrived. As soon as I reached out the property owner, the maintenance crew dropped off a bag of needed supplies. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated his quick response. Additionally, the building/boiler noises at night time were very loud and woke us and our dog up several times throughout the nights we were there. It sounded like the building was crashing down. Nice condo and convenient location, but I am happy that we were going home after the third night. We were very happy to have our pup join us on our weekend away as well.

Excellent ski home base

We’ve stayed at the Grizzly Den multiple times and keep coming back. It’s a cozy place, and the location is excellent. Easy access to Silverthorne, with multiple world class mountains within 30 minutes. There’s even a great set of trails within walking distance where we took our dog every day. Highly recommend

Nice mountain weekend

We stayed for a long weekend to enjoy the Lake Dillon Beer Festival. The rental was in a great location for our trip! We were able to walk to the festival -- as well as to a wonderful neighborhood trail system just up the road for a quick hike. We were a quick drive from many other great hikes, plus Frisco and Breckenridge. The bedrooms and main room have been updated and look fabulous; however, the kitchen is still quite dated. However, we had nearly everything we needed (except coffee!) and overall the place was much roomier than I expected. Parking was a breeze, and the neighborhood is quiet. The views are not phenomenal (peek of mountains over the back parking lot) but the balcony is spacious and has a nice table for al fresco dining. Appreciated the plentiful toiletry items and towels! Overall, the place met our needs, and we would stay again.

Rough start, but then great.

This could have been 5 stars across the board, but for one thing: when we arrived, the unit had not been cleaned since the last visitors. It took a little while to establish contact with owner. Housekeeping did come down and did a great job cleaning, but that did make the evening a bit late. Everything else was terrific.

Great location and nice accommodations

This was a lovely property close to skiing and was great for our family of four, as well as dogs. We found the walking trail to be just up the hill and has you in nature quickly. The condo itself is nicely decorated, especially the living room with wood burning fireplace. The neighbor upstairs was noisy at times, but overall we found this to be nice for our ski getaway.

Great location, great place

Rented this place for six weeks in Jan/Feb as a ski condo. It worked out great! The place fits 5 adults very comfortably, and there is a lot of living space for everyone to hang out. The location is amazing, a short drive from a ton of mountains. It is also a short walk from a hiking/nordic skiing path where we could walk our dog. The heat went out for a couple of weeks, which was tough, but Chris was extremely helpful in the process and gave a fair refund for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a ski condo.

Older condo

Great location, clean and dog friendly. The condo could use some updates for sure, like new carpet, sheets, comforters, kitchen utensils. The noise from the people above was enough to send us home a day early. It would be a great place to stay for a family of skiers!

Good Mountain Stay

This condo has a good mountain view and the interior is well furnished and has had a recent kitchen update. The exterior could use some care and upkeep by other owners, tenants, and management. It looks a little dowdy when compared to those nearby . It is very reasonable in price and offers a good value to anyone wanting a Dillon-Silverthorne stay.

Great location for a ski get away!

Great location for a ski get away!This location is conveniently located to some of the ski resorts. We had an amazing time! The accommodations were comfortable! We really enjoyed having games to play in the evening!

Great Views, accessible to everything, and overall great experience.

Property was exactly as advertised. Owner was great with directions and check in process. Very clean and cozy for our stay. I would recommend and look forward to staying again.

Home away from home

Had a wonderful stay at The Grizzly Den! Property was clean, comfortable and ready at check in. Lots of games and great TV for family relaxing time. Furnishings and bed are very comfortable. There is a bit of noise heard from upstairs and downstairs neighbors, but that is expected in this type of condo arrangement. No noise heard after bedtime. I brought my dog and found easy trail access from parking lot of condo complex behind the grizzly den. Had a great vacation with all the comforts of home. I would stay here again.

Fantastic Condo and Service

I was incredibly impressed with this condo! It was in a great location for us to visit Silverthorne and Frisco. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed (the kitchen is decked out with a lot of utensils). I was also so impressed with the owner - we needed an extra blanket and I had emailed him to see if we could stop by the property management to pick it up. Within an hour, someone had actually come to the condo and dropped it off! Amazing response.

Great Mountain Retreat

Great place

The condo was very nice and all the basic accommodations required were provided. The kitchen items included a fairly new knife set (ones that actually cut), a cheese grater, cutting board, pans that were still in good working condition; the only thing I couldn't find was a pizza cutter. The place was neat, ample furniture the the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Please be aware this is a condo so there are people above you so you will hear people walking around, running water, and the complex is older thus at night the pipes in the wall were loud (a pair of ear plugs would fix). I would rent this condo again. Thanks!

Nice Condo - would recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay at this condo. Appreciated having everything we needed for our stay - comfortable beds, nice decor, fully equiped kitchen and bathrooms. Good communication with owner too - he was very responsive. There was a problem with one of the bathrooms and the carpets need attention and something odd about the heating system so the condo was very warm - had to leave windows and doors open to cool it down. Otherwise, it was great!

Beautiful home away from home

Wonderful place, wonderful location - comfortable, cozy, clean and had all we needed including way access to beautiful walks in wilderness and bus shuttle stop right at our door! We would definitely stay here again - in fact hope to again next summer
