Property Description
Pet Friendly in Dillon! Summit Ski Chalet is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Sleeps 6. Private hot tub. Wonderful mountain views from large windows and large decks. It is central to it all. A beautiful slab granite kitchen with stainless appliances. The main level dining area seats 6. Living room has flatscreen, leather furniture and gas fireplace. Big wrap around deck. Lower patio and outdoor room has a private hot tub and gas or charcoal grill. Free WiFi and cable. Mountain and valley views are amazing. Please Note: Only 2 pets allowed. A $300 Pet Deposit is taken on Arrival and is refunded if no damage is found after check-out inspection. This home has many stairs: to access the main entrance, the lower hot tub, deck and patio and to reach the top floor bedrooms.

Bedding is triple sheeted with professionally laundered linen.
~ King in main floor master. Main floor bath has washer, dryer.
~ King, private deck in upstairs 2nd bedroom.
~ Queen in upstairs 3rd bedroom. Full upstairs shared bath.

Parking
There is surface parking for 3-5 cars above the house depending on the size of vehicle. Entry is down the stairs from the parking.

Location
In the winter it's just 10 minutes to Keystone, 20 minutes to Arapahoe Basin or Loveland, 25 minutes to Copper Mountain or Breckenridge and 35 minutes to Vail. On a quiet street in the Piney Acres subdivision in Dillon. Less than 5 minutes to supermarket, coffee, REI, sporting goods, ski and snowboard rentals, parks, restaurants, 2 brewpubs, bars, nightlife, music/vinyl store, bowling. Enjoy the Dillon Lake Loops which are flat, groomed trails for hiking, cross country skiing, fat tire biking and snowshoeing on frozen Lake Dillon.

In the summer it's a 15 minute walk or less than a 5 minute drive to the Dillon Amphitheater with shows from June through September or the Dillon Marina with powerboat, sailboat, kayak, SUP rentals and the lakeside Tiki Bar or the Friday Farmers Market. Enjoy Dillon's parks, playgrounds and lakeside recreation path. A great place for family or friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay! There were lots of towels, dish soap, and garbage bags. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location is great....easy access to everything. My only complaint is we don't remember seeing in the description that this house is on a well. We only got that notification a few days before our stay. Every shower, dishwashing, and laundry felt like it needed to be planned and the fear of running out of water with 6 people was ever present. We didn't ever run out, but it was an annoying concern on vacation. Overall, great stay! Good communication with rental agency.

Great cabin in Dillon!

Very comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood perfect for a weekend ski trip with some friends. A short drive to multiple resorts. The wrap around deck has amazing views of the mountains. Would stay again!

Excellent Stay for Labor Day!

Our weekend at this lovely property was great. The listing is spot on with the description and everything was very neat and clean. We were very impressed with the hot tub and the quiet community. Easy walk to Lake Dillon and the amphitheater. Everything was perfect!

we had no hot water the first day and night which was unpleasant. The house is outdated, needs some TLC, floor boards in the stairs leading to the entrance are loose, don't walk barefoot on the deck. The downstairs King bed is hard as a rock to sleep on, about the only good things about this place, it had a great hot tub and the location was ideal, I would not stay here again.

Nice Property

The condo was great, lots of room, very nice, I think the carpet upstairs was very, very new. Just a really good property, just be prepared to climb some stairs.

Nice place for a summer mt biking get-away

This property had everything we needed—and the hot tub was definitely a bonus. Just a heads-up, if you bring a dog you will have to go up or down a flight of stairs to take it out. It’s also a big flight of stairs from the parking spot to the main entrance when unloading and loading your car.

Great Central Location for a Mountain Trip

We had a great experience at this house in Dillon. The residence is conveniently located minutes from major roadways and amenities such as groceries and an REI. Perfect spot for access to many of Colorado’s ski resorts. You’ll want 4WD in the winter and accessibility may be an issue for some due to the steep stairs to get to the house.

Family Get Away

The house was clean and close to what we needed. I would agree with prior review, the deck sways a lot and could use some tic. Disappointed that the jacuzzi water was green and was not useable. If you offer that then it should be taken care off and cleaned regularly. Other than that it fit our needs.

The bedrooms were comfortable, the living room and fireplace were cozy, and we enjoyed being together in the open kitchen -dining room. The hot tub was terrific!!!There were a few issues with the dishwasher and coffee pot. Both need to be replaced or repaired. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment. We would definitely rent again!

Wonderful home- great location

One quick note- lots of stairs to navigate, which was tough for my older pup who was dealing with a bad shoulder. I had to carry her up and down the stairs to get to the yard and to the car. But once Summit Resort Group learned of her illness/injury - they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and supported.

The wraparound porch and downstairs porch had plenty of seating and the view was amazing. The location was great for concerts or farmer's mkt and good fo getting out to Breckenridge or silverthorne. Nice grocery store about 1/4 mile away. The only negative was no screens on windows. With no AC, opening windows is a must and in the evening we did have flying bugs come in.

Charming Cozy Cabin

Board games for evenings. Really enjoyed the hot tub outside in the snow. Our family dog had plenty of space to run in the backyard (fyi not fenced). Be very careful on the winter roads by the house- definitely drive the longer way that the leasing office tells you to. 15 minute drive to Copper Mtn and less than 5 mins to grocery, bakery, liquor stores, bowling etc... it was great! Will definitely stay again!!

A bit Cluttered?? Sofa bed uncomfortable and old?? With attitude a girl stopped me from going in to take a nap (I just flew in from the Philippines). They said they would call when it was ready so I slept in the car. No one came into the house to work on it and they didn't call at 4:00. We had a great time - the little disappointments were that "Little disappointments."

Beautiful area but not for seniors with handicapped issues

I was told that the property was on levels. I was not told . that in order to access the property I would have to climb down 17 wooden stairs. The stairs had a hand rail on both sides of the stairs. but the stairs were very steep. The property did not show any indication that it was not handicapped accessible. The property was not cleaned properly. The hot tub did not work. This property was advertised as nonsmoking, we found cigarette stubs around the house. The property advertised dog friendly ,but we had a hard time finding safe places to walk our dogs.

Disappointing stay

This was a very disappointing experience. We were in Summit County for a family wedding. The rental property was not available for check-in at 4:00 as promised and we were not able to access the home until after 5:00. As a result, we were late for the rehearsal dinner. Summit Resort Group was difficult to work with and lied to our faces multiple times. Although they told us the housekeeping staff was cleaning at 2:30, they did not actually arrive to the property until after 3:30 (resulting in the late check in and missed wedding event). The house was much smaller than expected and felt cramped. The views were nice but you can find great views anywhere else in Summit County - and I would suggest you do so. This rental property is not worth the price and the property manager was difficult to work with. We will not stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. No screens on windows so bugs would come in. A few hiccups with not having enough water and offered to relocate us in middle of our vacation. Fire pit wasn't working even when they got confused and said it was. Huge disappointment! Grills were unusable from filth. Dishes were put away dirty and found detergent pod undissolved. Alarm went off from hardened grease in dirty oven. Master bed was like sleeping with the Flintstones..rock hard! Nails were sticking out on outside boards which ripped one pair of shoes. Otherwise, it was fine.
