Great Stay

The location was great, right at the beach, walking distance so some of our favourite North Shuswap spots! The place is cozy and the host was fantastic at communication.

Its a beautiful unit. Very clean and comfy. We loved the location. Close to the park. Also having a boat slip was a nice bonus! Its in a nice quiet neighborhood which we also really liked. The host was very responsive if theres any questions as well.

Scotch creek retreat

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the condo. It was well appointed and very clean. Nice to be able to walk to a few different places or just along the beach pathways.

Yearly Shuswap Trip

Our week stay was great and any questions we had we got very quick responses. Location is great and having the dock slip & beach just steps away was amazing! Our family of 7 fit perfect and had tons of room. We will definitely be booking again!

Great vacation spot!

Had a great week here! Enjoyed the beach access (although you might want water shoes) and the green space for lawn games. The host was quick to communicate and the neighbours were welcoming too. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a nice week.

Great location and great townhouse

We had a great week at Saratoga resort. The townhouse is very nice and well equipped. The dock and marina are very convenient for boating. No boat trailer parking but local storage places have extremely reasonable parking rates. Beach area adjacent to the provincial park is great for kids. Can’t wait to return.

Very Pleased

Location was great, walking distance to coffee, beach and parks. Scotch Creek has basic amenities including a pharmacy and grocery store within a 5 minute drive. Dock was used.

Thank you for the review. Thank you for also being a very respectful guest and for keeping the place in great condition on checkout. Yes, the dock has newer and older sections as we are in the process of rebuilding and expanding the dock. Work has stopped for the summer season as that is when it is most utilized and the rest of it will be upgraded after the summer season. Cheers!

Shuswap vacations

Scotch creek is a nice little town. The property needs new linens, bedding, and kitchen supplies. Also there was no Laundy or dish soap.

Hi Nicole: Thank you for you review. Please note that we had switched over to a new cleaning company prior to you arrival and it seems that they may not have followed instructions properly. Supplies - enough laundry soap for a few washes (5) and ample dish washing soap (under the sink ) should have been available. We do provide some kitchen supplies for your stay, however the onus is on the renter to supplement them for the rest of their stay as it is with most rentals. As for the linen the property has new linens so I'm not sure what happened here. I have discussed and passed on your comments to the cleaners. Please note that this is the first time we have had some negative feedback anda 3* rating, so we take it seriously. Thanks!

Quiet and Relaxing

We had a sisters get away and it was great. House was super quiet eventhough people were in the unit next to us. I loved having the park nearby we went for walks everyday and the view was just beautiful. All communications with the owner were positive.

The location was perfect for our needs; we had beautiful views from the 2 different balconies. so nice to have 2 full baths and the extra 2 piece on the main floor. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Family reunion to celebrate retirement

We truly enjoyed our 4 days to celebrate my wife's upcoming retirement with the family. The owner, Faisal texted me on day 1 to see if all was OK and in good order. The property is conveniently located on the shores of Shuswap Lake at Scotch Creek. Unit 12 faces the boat launch and trailer parking lot at the provincial park which was very quiet during our stay but could be less so during the peak summer season. Nice beach to swim and launch kayaks or SUPs and plus private dock for guests to tie up a boat. The unit was well equipped with enough space to comfortably accommodate us 6 adults.....any more and it would be a bit crowded. Fully stocked grocery and liquor store about 2 kms away in case you run out of essentials...... :-) Celista Winery north of Scotch Creek is worth the trip for you wine lovers.

2020 vacation John

Property was as advertised, clean and well kept.Owner was easy to deal with. Corner unit was nice as we had lots of Land and Privacy. Would have given it a five star rating except that some of the permanent residences were not very receptive to the vacationers in the rental units .

Thank you for the positive review and your patronage was much appreciated. I understand that some of the permanent residents were not as receptive to your group, but in their defence you did have a large group of over 24+ people staying in 2 units including family that were staying at the park grounds gathering and setup in front of the units and also in front of theirs for much of your stay. Additionally, there were complaints of a dog in your family’s company that was running around without a leash which is against the rules. I just wanted to respond to ensure that future renters do not think that the permanent residents are unreceptive. To the contrary, they have been extremely accommodating and I nor any renters have had any issues for as long as the property has been rented - over 10 years.
