Luxury Beachfront Condo on the ocean sleeps 4-6

Located in the heart of charming Bucerias, this 2 level condo is 50 steps from the Beach Club with its infinity pool and hot tub, right on the ocean. There is a gym with treadmill, elliptical trainor and smaller equipment. Washrooms are available. Outside showers are there to clean off beach sand after your ocean swim. Beach towels are provided at the casa. Please take one with you. Striped ones are also at my door for you to lay on so you're not laying on a wet towel.

Everything you need is within walking distance: restaurants, convenience stores, boutiques, spas and more. You won't tire of stepping onto the cobblestone streets and heading off to explore the town. One of the best flea markets is a short walk away with hard to beat prices. Visit one of the beach bars to recover before returning to your Bucerias home.

Luxurious finishing throughout the casa includes polished marble floors, local hardwoods, high end appliances and tasteful decor. Sit on the deck with stunning views of the Bay of Banderas while you enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Sunsets will take your breath away as you enjoy your dinner al fresco. A gas BBQ awaits your catch of the day! Watch the stars come out as you relax in the private dipping pool located on the deck. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf.

Each bedroom comes complete with its own 3 piece ensuite, safe, fans, Roku TV and tasteful Mexican decor. No need to bring bathroom amenities; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers are provided for you together with fluffy towels. Weekly housekeeping keeps everything fresh,

Want a place to just crash to read? The media room offers a very comfy sofa with lots of pillows to get comfy. The sofa can accommodate 2 additional guests.

Like to cook? The new appliances in the custom kitchen will draw you in. Seat up to 10 people at the unique cypress wood live edge dining table. Chill out on the ample sofa while you gaze out onto the ocean, listen to music and or read. If you must stay in touch with work, sit at the custom made desk with WIFI handy.

Want to catch your favourite show on a streaming service? Roku TVs are in every bedroom. Those all important sports games can be viewed down the street near the Decameron at the Sports Bar, Barchelata. My son and I have even been there at 7:00 A.M. to watch our beloved World Juniors Hockey over the Christmas season. Good food and drinks.

My casa manager is your Emergency Contact during your stay. He is also available to act as your private driver with airport pick-up/drop-off with excursions in between. His driving services are a separate fee.

Housekeeping is provided once a week.

Another Visit to Paradise

Sylvia’s place is spacious, airy and comfy! Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and a well-stocked grocery store. The pool/beach club is perfect. We’re booked for next year and so happy about that!

Paradise

This is a wonderful property and Sylvia is a wonderful host. We wee booked back in 2020 but due to COVID we weren’t able to make it until this year. But it was worth the wait. All through that time Sylvia kept in touch and helped us with any questions or concerns. The Casa is lovely and easily accommodated the four of us. The beach club and pool are perfect. 5 stars for this one.

Another Day in Paradise

We had a wonderful time at Sylvia’s casa! Spending time relaxing on the unit’s lovely deck as well as down by the pool, walking along the beach, and playing in the waves was exactly what my husband and I needed after a long time without a real vacation!! “Another day in paradise” kept going through my mind each morning while we had coffee on the deck. Sylvia’s casa has obviously been decorated with love and the kitchen had everything we needed (including the small things like cling wrap and various spices that you never think about when traveling until you need them). Sylvia was wonderful with prompt replies to the questions I did have and it was great to know Jorge was readily available if something should come up in the unit that we needed help with. Both my husband and myself are looking forward to spending more time at Sylvia’s in the future!

Christmas in Bucerias

Admittedly we had a rough start with our journey which started at 3 am. We unexpectedly had to schedule a new flight and drive 2 additional hours to catch our plane. So when we arrived in PV we did not appreciate the walk with all our luggage in tow to find our driver. The App took us on a different route - so after some photos our driver finally tracked us down. A short stop to replace a flat tire and we were finally to our casa. The casa is as advertised. The property is on the beach, but the casa is behind other villas so you have to walk a path to get to the beach. You can hear the waves and see the ocean from the deck. We saw some whales from the plunge pool. Some mechanical issues which took time to repair being the holidays. Rubin fell short on diving arrangements through his business partner, this was a disappointment. Overall we had an enjoyable vacation. All of Sylvia’s dining recommendations were spot on. Bucerias is growing and there is a lot of building and construction happening all around. Making Bucerias too big for us. Next adventure awaits us in an unknown destination for now.

Mother / Daughter immersion

My 7yo daughter and I went on a 30 day Mexican adventure this summer and adventure central was Casa Toucan. We had Spanish lessons, we ate out / ate in, we rested, we swam in the pool and the ocean, we snorkeled and went horseback riding. I found local dance lessons, day camps as well as glass blowing and art classes for my daughter (thanks to my friend and tutors contacts). We walked everywhere and we shopped at the local businesses on the main street as well as the Plaza about a half a mile away...fresh, hot chocolate churros anyone?? YUM!!!! Sylvia has done a great job with the house as it is beautifully decorated peaceful and comfortable to lounge in. She and the house manager helped immediately with some technical difficulties that came up due to the storms. And, I should also add that the most important feature for my husband (who wasn't travelling with us) was that it was safe. Hablo un poco Spanish, but that's about it. The gated property and the SUPER kind 24 hr / day staff stationed BOTH in the front and back of the property was very reassuring. The staff greeted us kindly daily, they helped us get early morning cabs to PV or Punta Mita for our snorkeling trips and we also got a call in the middle of the night to bear witness to a mama turtle laying it's eggs. What an amazing treat that was and all due to thoughtful staff!!!! The dipping pool located on our balcony was a fun ritual just before bed and the ocean breeze was a pleasure given the hot days. We've been back a little over a month and I miss it all. I wish I was there and we can't wait to go back (with my husband next time). Stop looking ... if Bucerias is where you want to go, this was the cleanest, safest and most central place to stay in. You will have an amazing time when you go ... Adiós amigos!!!

Great Bucerias experience

Tucan has an incredible view of the bay and the balcony is so beautiful and comfortable with the sight and sound of the ocean and the breezes.

Great place to stay distanced during these times! Had everything one could want and then some! Beautiful patio, sun, sound of waves, and whales! Especially loved the lovingly decorated space with beautiful glassware! Hope to be back in 2022!

Casa Syliva at La Vida

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Casa Sylvia. The apartment was clean, bright and spacious with everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The pool and grounds at La Vida are well kept and inviting. Jorge was there to greet us and was available anytime we had any questions. We will defiantly stay again.

Never fails to impress...

Perfectly situated on the Bucerias beach, this was the third time we've been to Sylvia's Casa. Each time has been better than the last. A short stroll into the village and you'll enjoy myriad beach restaurants, shopping opportunities or chances to sit on the beach and partake in a bucket of ice-cold Coronas under any number of palapas at the local beach bar! The evenings serve up a picturesque sunset that can be enjoyed from Sylvia's infinity pool on her deck while sipping on a margarita (in a plastic glass of course!). Stroll up to the main highway and hop a local bus either south to Puerto Vallarta and walk the Malecon, or head north and jump off at the surfing village of Sayulita - lunch at Don Perdro's is not to be missed! I highly recommend Sylvia's for anyone looking to enjoy this beautiful part of the world!

We're rebooking - what more can I say!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tucan! The condo is part of a very beautifully designed small complex that reflects luxury, serenity, privacy, security, convenience and amenities. We mostly enjoyed the open-air living room with very comfortable seating and glorious views of the bay. The dipping pool on the condo patio is a lovely feature. The decor, together with the aesthetic soft lighting at night, provided the most atmospheric evenings. The property manager, Jorge, was terrific--easy to reach, spoke English well, was very kind and helpful and the property staff were also great.

We spent 2 amazing weeks in Novemver 2015 & are headed back in April 2016. La Vida is perfectly situated on the beach in Bucerias & walking distance to all coffee shops, restaurants, town square, bars & shops. The condo, Casa Tucan, has fabulous ocean views & is just steps to the infinity pool & beach. Beautifully furnished & a fabulous kitchen. There is also a barbecue on the huge patio. A glass of wine with dinner on the patio watching the sunset is a sight not to be missed. There's also a spa pool on the patio, perfect for relaxing & cooling down after a day in the sun. Check out the local markets - lots of fun & good food! Can't wait for April!

Christmas to remember

We stayed at Casa Toucan over Christmas. We decided to escape the Wisconsin snow for sun and sand. We couldn't have been more happy with our decision. The home is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need. The home is decorated with local finds that make you never want to leave! Our two college age children loved the various lounging areas and the daily fun in the waves. We rented boogie boards from the Surf Shop during our stay. ($5/day). Everything you need is within walking distance, except the Mega Grocery store which was our only cab ride during our stay. The restaurants are fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Awonderful family get away

Before the owner listed on VRBO my husband and I and our daughter and her partner spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Toucan. The furnishings and decor is beautiful and the views breath taking! We loved being able to walk to a wide variety of restaurants or cooking a meal at the condo. The houseman was friendly with an excellent command of English and was willing to take us to the grocery store Mega and help us find the items we wanted. He also did an excellent job of houskeeping. It made our holiday so relaxing! The pool beachside was warm and pristine. We can hardly wait to return!

I first fell in love with Bucerias in 2010 on a visit to friends. I love the food, culture, its people, the architecture and friendliness of this pueblo. I visit frequently and always relax to the sound of the ocean waves mixed in with the bustle of town activity. Eat in or dine out, everything is within walking distance. Or take a cab or bus into Sayulita, La Cruz or Puerto Vallarta. Get away from the wet and grey or cold and snow to warm up, sooth your soul and relax.

I consider this my second home and am happy to share it with travellers who also love sun, sand, surf and the quaintness of a Mexican village.

La Vida is the only condo property in Bucerias with a true mexican feel. The architecture, colours and details make it a unique property different from any others nearby. A gated community with 24 hour security, it has only 23 units, all built with superior finishes. The manicured grounds are filled with native flowers. Something is always in bloom.

Located on the ocean, you are steps away from the Beach Club with its infinity pool, hot tub and small but functional gym. Need shade? Sun umbrellas grace each lounger. Or sit under the huge palapa and make yourself comfortable on the sofas. Beach life parades before you. There is always something to see. Look out over the ocean and you're likely to see whales or dolphins.
